Al-Qaeda urges Muslims to attack Jews everywhere

The irony is how the media treats these sorts of threats as 1) "original" and 2) a direct product of Israeli actions. In fact, jihadists have been urging the community of Muslims to attack Jews and Israel from day one. Nor was it some no-name al-Qaeda "leader" who first issued a "message" to incite Muslims against the Jews, but rather Osama bin Laden himself, back in 1998, who had a fatwa issued to kill Jews and Americans. And centuries before bin Laden, of course, other prominent Muslims and muftis have been demanding that Jews (all non-Muslims, in fact), be placed in perpetual dhimmitude.

- Fri Jan 2, Abu Musab Abdul Wadud, the leader of al-Qaida in Islamic North Africa, an offshoot of Osama bin Laden's terrorist network, has issued a message urging Muslims to attack Jews everywhere, according to the SITE Intelligence, a group which monitors extremist Web sites.

The message was issued on jihadist forums on Thursday, SITE said.

I don't recall that Muslims had been ever asked to be nice to the Jews.

Then why are these stupid and stale utterances presented as news? To promote the image of some Alqaida fanatic obscurantist?

Because it _is_ news to a lot of people.

Unfortunately, for if we had discovered the true intentions of Islam earlier, we could have avoided a lot of trouble.

For now, we should send a carrier group to assist Israel in the War on Terror. Break Hamas, and let Palestinians be free of their deadly spell.

Guess why...Someone has to do the dishes, laundry and take out the garbage...That's what dhimmi's are for...If they killed all the kufrs, they would have to take out their own garbage.

No mohammadan wants to take out the garbage, which is one reason Mohammdan countries are full of it...

Praise be to God. Muhammad is his messenger.

God knows better than me about all things, including his religion. In other words, I hope I don't make a mistake in my understanding or in my communicating. Please check the Quran for a reference and advise me if I contradict it.

However, in my opinion, muslims are not required to "kill Jews everywhere", even if there is a war with the Jews of one particular location or sect.

Why do I think so? Because, I think that we can find in historic sources which comment upon the life of the prophet Muhammad (and his life is a life of a muslim) that if Jews in one tribe, say at Khaybar, broke their treaty conditions under the state of Islam lead by Muhammad, he didn't go out and wage war on all the other Jews in all the other tribes.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, the Quran says, just after the point where it says to war, "but if they incline to peace, then so you incline to it" or something like that. My words may not be word for word correct, but the meaning is basically this, so how could you justify fighting Jews outside of the warzone?

They aren't fighting you. If I'm wrong, please let me be corrected by a clear reference to the Quran. Where does the quran say to kill Jews in blanket style? I don't think it says that, but if someone can show me it, I would be willing to investigate it.
