And centuries before bin Laden, of course, other prominent Muslims and muftis have been demanding that Jews (all non-Muslims, in fact), be placed in perpetual dhimmitude. God knows better than me about all things, including his religion. In other words, I hope I don't make a mistake in my understanding or in my communicating. Please check the Quran for a reference and advise me if I contradict it.
However, in my opinion, muslims are not required to "kill Jews everywhere", even if there is a war with the Jews of one particular location or sect.
Why do I think so? Because, I think that we can find in historic sources which comment upon the life of the prophet Muhammad (and his life is a life of a muslim) that if Jews in one tribe, say at Khaybar, broke their treaty conditions under the state of Islam lead by Muhammad, he didn't go out and wage war on all the other Jews in all the other tribes.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, the Quran says, just after the point where it says to war, "but if they incline to peace, then so you incline to it" or something like that. My words may not be word for word correct, but the meaning is basically this, so how could you justify fighting Jews outside of the warzone?
They aren't fighting you. If I'm wrong, please let me be corrected by a clear reference to the Quran. Where does the quran say to kill Jews in blanket style? I don't think it says that, but if someone can show me it, I would be willing to investigate it.
