Anti-jihad, pro-Israel demo in London!

Jihad Watch reader J. has kindly sent in these photos and this disquieting report:

Tonight I attended and photographed two rallies in front of the Israeli embassy - one of Israel's supporters and one against. I was deeply moved by what I saw from one side, and sickened from the other. The rally held on the Israeli side was to speak out against Hamas and to support peace for Israel and the Palestinians.

I arrived early (before anyone else supporting Israel) and was met by a crowd of very angry people - many of whom were waving Hizballah flags. When the first few Israeli supporters arrived - one young man started waving the Israeli flag - the anti Israel
crowd became so enraged that they tried to jump over police barricades and were standing on top of each other trying to reach over. A police officer actually had to come and ask the young man to put the Israeli flag down, because the other side was trying to push through the barricades (apparently the flag was riling them up!) and they needed to set up an additional barricade and bring over more officers. (Just to
be clear, I was standing next to the guy when this happened and the police did not want to ask him to put the flag down - they really needed a minute to get some more officers there). Soon they erected another barrier, brought more officers, and the flag was waving again (and many more with it!).

Shortly thereafter, a large group of Israel supporters arrived under a heavy police escort. The rest of the night was much of what you would expect - several people (from the anti Israel side) had to be taken away by police after breaking through the barrier or pulling other antics (I didn't see every incident but saw them all getting the escort out). I was following taking some photos (at this point I wasn't even inside the
pro Israeli barricades - I was with a bunch of photographers) and two men started thrusting the Hizballah flag in my face and shouting, "You watch your back, Nasrallah is coming for you - the world will see - Nasrallah is coming to take you all." There were definitely journalists recording this when it happened, but I don't know if it will come out anywhere. Of course, once they saw my camera they continued and were very 'proud': "Yes, that's right, Nasrallah is coming for you!" These two were then escorted away by police.

At the end of the night when police were dispersing the crowd, a large group of anti-Israel protesters actually sat down on the road refusing to leave. This turned into a bit of a kerfuffle but eventually the police formed a barricade lining the entire street and forced them to leave - beginning a long walk down the street behind them. An officer approached me and said he didn't think it was safe for me to 'mix in' with the crowd at this point so I held back. After waiting for about 15 minutes I saw a group of Jewish pro-Israel supporters being escorted out by agents (for safety reasons) so I joined up with them. Once the security agents felt we were 'in the clear', they headed back to the embassy. We, however, did not get far before we were almost smack behind the large group being moved away by police - at this point we could see
at least 4 "anti" protesters who had been pulled aside and were being held by police (in different places). Although no one threatened us, a few people did walk by and say things (nothing anti-Semitic, just behaving like general idiots), and soon we were in the middle of about 20 police officers who did not want us walking alone. At this point we all decided to err on the side of extreme caution, skipped the tube and took cabs home.

Wow.
I can only say, the liberals asked for it in London.

I wonder how many dirty bombs they can store in that Mega Mosque?

All it takes is one.

Excellent report and photographs! Thank you!

I hope Sunday there will be many, many more!

BTW, anyone knows where I can buy an Israel flag?

Well....

All I can say is get ready for aggro from the Pro Palestine/left Wing supporters on Sunday.
I didn't know of this march until now, but already the Islamists/Jihadists/Pro Palestinian Muslims/Muslims/left Wing(Anti Nazi League, Socialist Workers party, Liberty, blah blah blah) will all be there to.

I will hopefully be going along with some friends(who can seriously look after themselves) because I have a strong feeling that the Pro Palestine supporters(Muslims) will be targeting people when they leave.

Be careful on Sunday, especially in European marches. Watch your back. I will be mine and if any one starts, what they'll get back from me is far worse any Israeli in Palestine could dish out that's for sure!

Be careful folks, the Pro Palestine supporters will 'have a go'. Watch your back.

I was also at the demo last night and have posted a report and more pictures here:

Good blog Edgar. Well done!

Yes, well done, Edgar! Thank you!

With every protest by muslims over some outrage becoming increasingly violent, as their population also increases, we are in for a long war. A Jihadi War. But for now, The War With An Enemy Who Shall Not Be Named (Lest We Cause Offense), or some other rubbish.

Thanks God there were no 'KILL ALL MUSLIMS" banners around the pro-Israel group. Have you seen anthing like "DEATH to ALL JEUICE" on the other side of the fence?

This past Saturday a small group of members from ACT! for America and the United American Committee met in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C. to show our support for Israel and against HAMAS. There were only six of us and we were there for about two hours.

The police security was very tight. At one point there were six police cars on either side of the street and one would come by about every half an hour to see how we were. I thought this was odd considering the big rally had been the day before. We had a few birds flipped at us by people driving-while-Muslim but other than that it was peaceful.

What was really interesting was what we found on the ground around us from the pro-HAMAS rally the day before. Lots of propaganda as you can see here:

http://radiofreedaralharb.blogspot.com/2009/01/uac-and-act-hold-rally-at-israeli.html

It seems to me that these pro-HAMAS rallys were pretty well organized before Israel ever did a thing.

More on this at Melanie Phillips blog:

http://www.spectator.co.uk/melaniephillips/

The situation in the UK is getting scary. There is a war developing on the streets. Something that will come as no surprise to Jihad Watchers.

It's worth noting that the pro-Israel demonstrators also waved the Union Jack alongside the Israeli flag. Contrast this with the Muslim/Left crowd who would never exhibit such loyalty to their own nation.

Richard,

I am Immanuel from FFI forums. I now live in London and am coming to the manifestation - please contact me at adm.ffiitalia@gmail.com, I'd like to join your group if possible.

johndoe,

Malanie's later comment ..and even uglier is pretty harrowing. Especially the young Jewish supporter who was taken aside by the police for bringing out an Israeli flag.
It seems that the Police Establishment, controlled of course by Career Policemen and taking all orders from NuLabour are now not only the Paramilitary Social Worker protectors of the Politicians and Financial Elite but also the Muslim Minorities in the UK and everyone doing there best to completely destroy the UK.

This is really sad.
However, I will say to you johndoe that as much as I respect Melanie Phillips and her articles, the Spectator heavily censors free speech. For example, this comment was removed the other day from her blog: Decency vs Bigotry

Oh Martin Smith(January 6th, 2009 2:17am) what are we going to do with you?
Are you completely incapable of grasping fact? Are you totally unable to know what is really happening? First off, you need an education on the state of Israel and erm... Palestine - http://www.terrorismawareness.org/what-really-happened/
Why do you think there are lifeless babies being pulled from the rubble? Do you think it has anything atall to do with Palestinian Hamas(backed by Iran) uses Palestinians as Human shields? Do you not think that if Hamas had any love for their people they would not build their bases in the heart of Palestinian neighbourhoods? Even better, do you not think it would be better that they didn't attack Israel in the first place?
Are you completely ignorant to the fact that this war is NOT abot land but the destruction of Jewish people? Have you not yet grasped that if Israel falls it will inspire the Islamists even more and the next target will be here? Have you had your head in the sand since birth? Are you really so stupid?
Thank goodness that the USA is supporting Israel, because no one else is, yet they're all supporting Palestine as it launched attack after attack on Israelis. Every Islamic state is supporting Palestine, with nothing to do with right or wrong but all because they are Muslim.
Let me ask you a question, what would you do if someone was firing at your daughter? Although the bullets were not hitting her, would you try and stop the person pulling the trigger, or would you continue to do nothing hoping that they keep missing? How long before she is hit?
It is people like you, who have this pacafistic, liberal attitude of 'let's all live together in one big love bubble'. You are totally unaware that this will never be for one reason - culture. Cultures will always conflict with one another and that's why they should forever be seperated, that is between tolerant and intolerant ones.
What on earth are you on about when you say "In Gaza we may well be witnessing the defining moment when, buoyed by its military superiority and US support, Israel made a serious miscalculation. It has failed to take note of significant and subtle shifts taking place across the world. Yes, it's likely to win the battle in Gaza but may well have delivered a fatal blow to its chances of winning the war."?
Are you serious? Are you really so blind as to not see that the West is now waking up to threat of Islamisation? Do you not see that this is the West's first blow against Islamic hatred of not just the Jewish people but Western Freedom and democracy? The only shifts I can see taking place is growing public resentment to the EU, uncontrolled immigration, forced multiculturalism, fat cats, greedy politicians selling out their countries, bias Western media towards Palestine, a left wing controlled Media and Education systems not forgetting Police forces....I could go on. There is a shift and those minorities in control of the majority best beware at growing public anger, for like what happens in all revolutions, the heads of those in charge fall first.
If you really think that Israel does not have the right to legitimacy after defending itself then you are a coward and not only that but an ignorant coward.
The cost of freedom is always high and had we listened to the pathetic pacifists/conscientious objectors of WW1 & 2 then we would have fallen to Nazi Germany. Those who fought in the Great Wars objected to it but realised that there was no option but fighting. The Jewish people realise this. If you also think that world consensus is against Israel then you are wrong. The only people against Israel in the West are the ignorant Left and of course the Muslims(who hate Jewish people anyway). Now considering that the media is left wing then it paints an exceptionally false picture of British consensus on Israel. I can tell you now that those who understand the history of Gaza, syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Israel will be supporting Israel. Those who do not, the ignorant ones, as well as those who know nothing of Islam will of course be against Israel.
I am happy that this is happening. The Palestinian people deserve what happens to them from who they vote in. They voted in Hamas, who care little for their people. They use them as shields and are cowards, but then I see nothing but continuing support for them from Palestinians. In other words the Palestinians are not only a wretched people but also exceptionally stupid too. They are behaving like Lemmings in the way they are behaving. If they continue to support a party that wants to destroy Israel, continuously launches rockets at it as well as suicide bombers, then they deserve everything that happens to them regardless of the ferocity of the reprisals. End of.
Martin, you seriously need to educate yourself badly. You are ignorant of the facts before you.

This comment was not published

Pete Hoskin,
And why is that? Could it be because I am not supporting Palestine?
As usual, the Western Media suppresses Freedom of Speech, remotely anti Islamic. I said nothing distasteful whatsoever.
Unlike you, I happen to see that the attack on Israel has nothing whatsoever to do with land but all about Islam wanting to utterly destroy Judaism and all other faiths. Now before you actually decide to not publish this, I suggest you read the Koran, Hadiths and Siras as I am not promoting hatred but in fact truth from Muslims 'unholy' book and the teachings of Muhammad.
I said that what happens to Palestinians they wrought upon themselves by voting in Hamas, a terrorist organisation, responsible for sending rockets and suicide bombers in Israel. They have, democratically voted in an Organisation that through its own ideology has brought the attacks from Israel upon them.
Death is death and if the Palestinian people weren't supporting Hamas and instead seeking peace with Israel instead of trying to wipe out Jewish people then Israel would not be on the offensive against Palestinian Hamas attacks.
I am disgusted that even here my post has been deleted as all I stated was the truth and yet you have seen fit to remove my comment, even though it is on a thread by Melanie Phillips who is pro Israel, one of the very few in the UK journalist fraternity.

And neither was this one either:

Emily,
Who voted in Hamas? Was it by any chance the Palestinian people? Do they not want the destruction of Israel? Are they not supporting this by their election of Hamas? Has Hamas not stated that they will destroy Israel?
Now why don't you take your head out of your Pro Palestine posterior and think for a minute what I've written?
Let's look at it this way, what would happen if Scotland started launching attacks into England? What happened if these rockets landed in your house and killed your children? What happened if they also landed all over England killing English people, not because they wanted the land but because they hated the English and wanted to see them wiped out?
Now how would you feel if after seven years of non retaliation England struck back? How would you feel if everyone who voted in the party that started the attacks on England(the majority of the Scottish population) all moved to live in Edinburgh, in their houses and flats to protect the people firing the rockets into England? What would you then do knowing that if they continue to fire into England more people will die and yet attacking Scotland will cause high casualties?
Are you so pig ignorant to not see that the Palestinian people are using themselves as shields on purpose to stop Israeli attacks on them but continue the attacks on Israelis? It's ok then for Palestine to continually attack Israel but not for the Israelis to defend themselves?
Palestinians are dying because they are in fact terrorists by supporting terrorist a terrorist party. They are certainly not not condoning the attacks by Hamas but instead almost 100% behind them.
If Palestinians voted in a party that looked for peace instead of war then this would not be happening, however look at the situation Hamas, before them the PLO. These are terrorist parties made up of terrorists. You do not need a degree to see this, but I will say that people in the UK and the West should FOR ONCE educate themselves on the middle east instead of blindly following what the Pro Islam/Palestinian, Anti Judaism/Christian/West press and media continue to propagate.

As you can see johndoe, Melanie's blogs are great but its posters are not allowed as much freedom and worse the ability to defend(with truthful facts) anyone on the opposite side to Islam.

This is not just the case with the Spectator, but every mainstream political Internet outlet including broadsheets and tabloids. Well maybe apart from the Sun that is!

What surprises me most with the Spectator is that it is not pro Palestine or Anti Israel. It's just another media outlet controlled by Nulabour's Incitement to Religious and racial Hatred and Hate Speech laws.

It's a shame really.

Herbrand,

I've just sent you an email regarding Sunday.

RTL: I have had the same experience on Melanie's blog. In particular, any comment which highlights the murderous hatred towards Jews and Infidels in the Islamic core texts as well as any mention of Mohammed's actions and the fact that he is regarded as the perfect role model by Muslims. The violence and insanity of Islamic jihad and supremacism is rooted in these texts....the Gaza mess, the ugliness on the streets of Toronto, London etc...is all an outcome of what Mohammed taught and what he did. And yes, unfortunately, any mention of this on Melanie's blog is censored. It must be fear of the ludicrous PC laws in the UK and fear of Muslim attacks.

In the meantime here is an evil Zionist telling us what it is like living under daily Qassam attacks in Sderot from those poor victims, the Gazan Arabs. And this was during the so-called 'ceasefire'.
It reminds me of my mother's experience in Kent with the German V1 doodlebugs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kroyMfkoRHA&eurl=http://current.com/items/89691689/a_citizen_of_sderot_living_in_terror_during_the_ceasefire.htm

I should add that Melanie is a voice of sanity in the wilderness of appeasement and dhimmitude. She writes passionately and eloquently and her articles and posts are inspiring and indispensable.

johndoe,

I certainly won't deny that and she is the shining light in a forest of darkness. I know that she is limited into what she can profess that's for sure.
She certainly writes very poignantly there's no doubt about that. If it weren't for Melanie's blogs and posts in various papers lots of people in Britain would remain ignorant.

I just wish that she would go that step further and bring about serious discussion in Political Circles. I know that if she did it may end her career in Journalism, but then I think all of us will have to make sacrifices to stop Islamisation and continue to live in a free, democratic society at some time in our lives. Freedom costs and it's about time that people started to realise that!

Here is a good placard to carry:

H aters
A gitators
M urderers
A ggressors
S upremacists

I am so sick of hearing the 'lesser' and 'greater' jihad of muslims on threads that I am on now that they are shivering in their skins over this violence (those who hurridly claim victimhood so no one bothers them so they can continue their da'wa, deception and stealth jihad against us!) that I am sick of them.

We can never rest again. This is what I don't think that most people don't realize. They do not rest and weary of war like sane people do, so we cannot do so anymore.

BTW, anyone knows where I can buy an Israel flag?

I notice there was a comment on this log about police asking a young man to take the Israeli flag down. Please allow me to clarify that the police did not do this to discriminate, they were in that moment concerned for this young man's saftey. As soon as more officers arrived the flag was waving high.

Herbrand

if you can't buy an Israeli flag in time for the Sunday event, just look up the design and colours on the internet, get yourself a big piece of paper and some paints and make one.

And when you go: wear blue and white. Maybe even bring blue and white streamers or ribbons or balloons.

Shoutout to any Indo-British (Hindu, Sikh, secular) supporters of Israel who may be reading this, and who are thinking of going along to the Trafalgar Square event: wear your national dress, wear saffron and carry lotus flowers or banners with lotus flowers (the national flower of India); the gold and white will tone beautifully with the blue and white.

Indeed: let the flags and the symbols all fly together: Indian, Israeli, United Kingdom, Cross of St George, Cross of St Andrew, the Dragon of Wales, the Rose and the Thistle, the Star of David and the Sacred Lotus. Oppose the beauty and grace and order of high human civilisation, to the ugliness and violence of the Jihad.

Indian attendees should point out at every turn that Hamas, as a fully owned franchise of the Muslim Brotherhood/ Ikhwan, and as a catspaw of Islamic Iran, subscribes to exactly the same mass-murderous jihad ideology as the Pakistani jihadists who wreaked havoc in Mumbai only a month ago (and who deliberately, in a city of 18 million people, sought out as a priority target, and tormented and murdered, a tiny group of unarmed Jews).

Regarding national flags, I have found it really telling of the kinds of people who attend these protests. On the pro-palestinian side you have men waving Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamist flags (organisations that want to attack Western interests), whereas on the pro-Israeli side you have the Israeli flag accompanied by Union flags, Stars or stripes or any national flag regarding the country the protest is taking place in.
Therefore it is quite extraordinary that the liberal media is supporting a side that has no loyalty to western democracy.
Also the media seems to have no criticism of the pro-palestinian protesters. Since when did it constitute a peaceful protest when barricades had to be used and policemen had to take random insults and threats of violence.
I have had the opportunity to walk past the protests outside the Israeli embassy in London on my way back from work and I have seen most of the police guarding the pro-palestinian side to prevent an outbreak of violence whereas little police presence on the pro-Israeli side (the threat of violence or anti-police harrassment being highly unlikely).
I really think what I saw of those protests translates to the middle-eastern conflict as a whole - highly selective, highly emotional arabs attacking and slandering the Jewish State, that for all its faults, chooses military attacks as a last resort and only in the case of self-defence.

Mary Richards,

Regarding national flags, I have found it really telling of the kinds of people who attend these protests. On the pro-palestinian side you have men waving Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamist flags (organisations that want to attack Western interests), whereas on the pro-Israeli side you have the Israeli flag accompanied by Union flags, Stars or stripes or any national flag regarding the country the protest is taking place in.
Therefore it is quite extraordinary that the liberal media is supporting a side that has no loyalty to western democracy.

Don't be surprised that the liberal media is supporting the side that has no loyalty to Western Democracy. You know that the left is about completely destroying Nationalism, capitalism, democracy and indigenous culture. The left wants everyone to live together in one big love bubble(as do the liberals too). The left however are exceptionally ignorant in that when things in society start going wrong, i.e. their visions of Utopia go awry and other cultures whom the welcomed in start causing trouble they then advance into the great lie that is forever kept secret - Fascists! They start to control society, oppress the people, institute Political correctness and the persecution of the indigenous population.

The reason why the liberal media supports them is because it's not so liberal but more Marxist. Moreso, the liberals belief of life is like the conscientious objectors of WW1&2. They would rather bargain to the enemy and worse still surrender so as to not cause human casualty, even if it means the end of their culture and heritage and absorption into another, very well ending up in millions of future deaths. For example the liberalswere disgusted at the Hydrogen Bombs dropped in the Second World War by the Americans. They were too busy thinking with their hearts instead of their heads. They were to blinkered to see that this action although extreme ended the War for Japan and stopped the deaths of hundreds of thousands allied servicemen and women of not more.
The liberals are a sad sorry bunch in that they are saps. They are so pathetic that if they came home to find their house being burgled they'd help the burglars load the can with their goods, just so they could keep the peace and not cause any conflict.

Our press is a mix of left and Liberal and there are very few of the right. Many who think they are right are actually liberals. They are what they are because they've grown up in comfort, protected and never had to worry about invasion. This ideology and feeling however will change in the future when they realise that invasion is very real and happening. I just hope they grow a backbone before that time.

Don't blame the muslims for their actions until you are ready to ban the muslim terrorists manual aka quran or koran.

As long as this terrroists manual is not banned you cannot ban the actions by the followers who read this manual. I.e. since bombs are illegal to possess in the west by civilians, the manuals to make bombs are banned and illegal too.

Imagine if the manuals for making bombs were openly legal, would you prohibit someone from experimenting with bomb making.

Every terrorist act is condoned by the quran or koran (islam) if it is carried against the Infidels.

Ban the Terroist manual quran or koran and the world will be a better place.
