Modern liberalism has been hijacked by the Far Left, just as modern conservatism was in danger of going this way, a la the Far Right, back in the 1950s. William F. Buckley, a half century ago, and to his great and lasting credit, virtually alone stood up courageously and called "halt" to the expropriation of true conservative thought by wacko folks posing as conservatives (e.g., the John Birch Society). The signs that are prepared for these demonstrations in support of Israel, and against Hamas, should be more than the usual, and not very effective "No To Hamas" or "We Stand With Israel" stuff. That doesn't do much good. What would do a lot of good is for there to be prepared, at each demonstration, signs that contain quotes from the Qur'an, those that call for killing the Unbeliever, and warning Muslims not to take Jews and Christians as friends, and so on, and then a few choice Hadith will also work magic. It would also be good to have demonstrators with bits and pieces of the Hamas Charter written on them.

And, in addition to these revealing bits of Islamic texts, and Hamas' use of those texts, there should be signs that give specific information about what has happened. That is, not signs that say "Stop the Hamas Rockets on Civilians" but something like "6,000 rockets have rained down on Israeli cities and towns from Hamas in the last two years. What country on earth would stand for this?"

Here are a few Qur'anic passages to look up and use: 9.5 (jihad against non-Muslims), 9.25 (ditto), 3.11 (the superiority of non-Muslims), 5.51 (Muslims not to take Jews and Christians as friends), 33.61 (describing Infidels as the Cursed Ones whom Believers are to seize and kill without pity), .47.4 (smiting the Unbelievers around the neck)

As for Hadith –possibly Bukhari LVIII 236, or LII 260, or Muslim XVII 4216, could be the basis of a starter-kit for your Poster Project.
You will be doing many things. And keep at it, and don’t stop.

(b) Appropriate Islamic quote like Quran 9.29 to support (a), or some Hamas quote.

The point is instead of defending Israel perhaps the counter-protesters should go on the offensive against our enemy. The posters should paint Hamas (and the Palestinian Muslims in general) as the sexist, religious bigots they are. Go after ANSWER by putting them on their heels. They always like to call other people bigots, but they are the ones defending bigots. Two can play the same game. ANSWER supports religious bigotry by defending Hamas!

Use lots of key words that work in our modern PC world like “Segregation”, “Bigotry”, “Sexism”, “Slavery” etc…after all who like those things? Who would defend religious sexist bigots in the 21st century? Plant that seed in those who see the signs of who those bigots are!

This is also the PERFECT opportunity to educate OUR side about Muhammad and Islam.

The short biography of Muhammad (two pages, so it fits on the front and back of one flyer) is taken from the Qur’an, the “Sirat Rasul Allah” and hadith from “Bukhari” and “Muslim”.

I believe any sane person who reads of the murders, rapes, and tortures committed by Muhammad AS DOCUMENTED IN THE MOST SACRED TEXTS OF ISLAM, cannot help but have a more clear understanding of Islam and the BEHAVIOR of Muslims. This is especially true when it is pointed out that Muhammad is uswa hasana “The Model of Conduct” and al-insan al-kamil “The Perfect Man”.

Here are some ideas for signs:

Signs that say "This is Hamas" with pictures of crucifixion, stoning of young rape victims, lapidation, and pedophilia.

A simple sign with Hamas soldiers doing the Nazi salute, you know, like they do in every other picture.

Pictures of child suicide bombers.

A sign that says "Jihad has only killed 270,000,000 people. Let's give it another chance."

A sign that says "Stop the Arab occupation of Jewish land."

A sign that says "Hey Lefties, we'll defend Western civilization. You stfu."

A sign that says "Hamas kills Palestinian Christians." Or, "Screw the Gazan Christians. No war on Hamas."

A sign that says "End sexism, pedophilia, capital punishment for gays, and slavery now: eradicate Hamas." Lefties can't argue with that.

A sign that says "Hey Israel, how can we push the Jews into the sea when you're waging a RACIST war against our terror organization?"

You could also pull a few select quotes from the Hamas Charter.

Or "What has Israel ever given to this world besides...(everything Israel has given us)?"

Or just do this one.

I see from the ANSWER list that there will be antisemitic pro-Jihad demonstrations in various USA cities, and also in Montreal, in the UK (London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol, Portsmouth, and Swansea in Wales), in France (in Paris itself), in the Netherlands (Amsterdam and Rotterdam), in Lisbon in Portugal, and Badajoz in Spain.

Looks like the ball's in your court, jihadwatchers from: Washington DC, St Petersburg Florida, Chicago Illinois, Lawrence Massachusetts, Springfield Missouri, Pennsylvania [location unclear to this Aussie], and Westlake Park, Washington;

Such are: the event in Washington; the event in Paris on 3 January; and the event in Lisbon.

Those could get nasty. You'll need a lot of people, with cool heads.

If sufficient numbers could be mustered, it would be best to be there, quietly standing in front of the embassy, BEFORE the pro-Jihad demonstrators arrive.

I'll do my best to be there for the DC Demonstration. I'd like to do a write-up for the blog that I write for, too. Damn work. I'm a college student home in Maryland (I attend college at American University in DC. Yes, I've been confronted by radical Muslims on campus).

Hopefully some others will show up to the DC one if I go! I'll use some Qur'an verses showing the imperialist, murderous nature of jihad.

Maybe something like "WHY DID MUHAMMAD MARRY A SIX-YEAR-OLD???" or "WHY DID MUHAMMAD TAKE OVER OTHER PEOPLE'S LANDS???" or something to that effect? But that's not quite as current, so maybe just an excerpt from the Hamas Charter would suffice?

As much as I love Israel, I believe their leadership needs to crush Hamas and HezbAllah and not make deals with them.

This latest Israeli "surge" does not appear to be a balls-to-the-wall attack to wipe these vipers out, but perhaps an effort to help bring to power a new leader as weak and feckless as the current one, when a man like Benjamin Netanyahu needs to win the coming election and thereafter smoke these bastards like cheap cigars.

In Seattle, the police are famously "tolerant" of any leftist-type protesters, giving them more than the benefit of the doubt in cases where they transgress the law.

Israel has rightly slain several Hamas leaders in Gaza in the last few days. Leftist the world over are having fits over these necessary deaths. But, given the fact that the current Israeli administration is evidently willing to cut and run, perhaps for no more than the political future of one party, like the Democrats here in the US; and given the better than 50/50 chance that the local zombies will be out in very aggressive fashion in Seattle tomorrow... I will not be attending the festivities.

I have a concealed weapons permit and I do carry a concealed weapon, and lots of ammo. Were I to go to Seattle tomorrow, there is a higher than average chance that the pro-Palestine crowd will get ugly and that SPD will let them. If their activity devolved into a lethal force decision for me, being armed, I would feel the moral obligation to defend those around me, who are on my side, who may not be armed. And I would act.

But Israel has evidently decided she will not defend herself there on her own turf, but merely shove a little harder than usual. If they won't fight for themselves there, I feel no obligation to fight for them here.

I'll fight for her another day. I would advise the same to anyone who asked.

This is great; love the "Hindus for Israel" sign.

I hope future events include "Buddhists for Israel", "Christians for Israel", and "Atheists for Israel" signs.

In fact, I'd like to make a personal request, one atheist to another, to Michael Newdow, who has been acting like a radical cleric for atheistic fundamentalism, to personally carry the "Atheists for Israel" sign. (And Mike, while you're at it, cut the lawsuit crap, you're becoming the poster child for your own religious intolerance. Surely there are more important things to do.)

Most of all, these protests need "Muslims for Israel" signs carried by Muslims who mean it and are willing to try to change the path their religion is on. Maybe with bylines like: "Muslims Need to Love Life More Than Jihadists Love Death!", "Hamas: Not in Our Name!", or "Hamas: Lousy Missiles and Worse Ideas!"

Prove to us that Islam is a Religion of Peace, and not a slavish, barbaric, dogma. This should not be too much to ask.
