They say they're just trying to protect the children, but this is actually cringing dhimmitude. They could say they won't stand for Jewish students being victimized in the schools. Instead, this. "Schools caught up in Palestinian conflict," from the Copenhagen Post, January 6 (thanks to Pamela):
A number of school administrators have come forth in recent days to confirm that they recommend Jewish children should not enrol at their schools.According to school administrators, law enforcement officials and social workers, the on-going conflict in Gaza has led to heightened tensions between Jews and Arabs - particularly Palestinians - here in Denmark.
And although few headmasters of schools have faced the situation, most of those at schools with a high percentage of children of Arab descent say they try to prevent Jewish parents from enrolling their children there.
On Monday, headmaster Olav Nielsen of Humlehave School in Odense publicly admitted he would refuse Jewish parents' wish to place their child at his school.
The comments were made following an incident last week in which two Israeli citizen's were shot and wounded at a city shopping centre. Police believe the incident was a reaction to the Gaza conflict.
Other headmasters have now come forth to support Nielsen's position, adding that they are putting the child's safety first....
Why not draw the line against violence in these schools, and vow to protect the Jewish children?

If trying to prevent A-rab violence against the rest of us might somehow be interpreted as "offensive" to muslims, those gutless European political leaders and authorities will simply let mohammedans do as they please; even if that means that Jewish, Hindu, Christian and Buddhist kids and adults end up being victims of that violence.
I'm crossing my fingers for Hugh's hopes that the latest round of anti-Israel demonstrations all across Europe will start waking up more ordinary, law-abiding, non-muslim citizens to the islamic threat. That is the only thing that can still save Europe.
And the schools feel safer sans Jews, but fortified with Arab goodness....how?
This constitutes an admission that immigration by Muslims presents a threat to non-Muslims and is denial of the rights of non-Muslims without due process of law. In fact, it admits that even the presence of Muslims is denial of the rights of non-Muslims without due process of law. Thus Muslim immigration is a human rights violation.
It also concedes that Muslims don't assimilate but take possession of any land anywhere they are. This means that Muslim immigration is also a violation of international and local laws. Thus any court of competent jurisdiction has the authority to issue an injunction on Muslim immigration to protect the rights of non-Muslims.
The administrators of these schools are saying that the Arabs kids are so uncontrollably violent, intolerant, and incorrigible that it wouldn't be worth chancing the safety of a Jewish student. Is that wrong to say? Personally, I would think such remarks would be embarrassing to Arab parents but then again they seem proud to live in areas of Europe referred to as "no-go zones" because they are beyond police control.
Indeed, stealth jihad depends on such feckless cowardice/dhimmitude - as but one step towards encouraging this school to be incorporated into the next no-go zone.
Can separate drinking fountains and full apartheid be far behind?
After the Jews, who comes next?
"First comes Saturday, then comes Sunday."
How disgusting, the Danes should be up in arms about this.
What if a Catholic or Evangelical school put up a sign "Jews Need Not Apply"? Can you imagine the outrage? Isn't religious discrimination illegal in Denmark?
Instead, I understand that some Catholic schools in the UK are making accommodations for Muslim foot baths and prayer rooms.
Obviously the next step is to put Jewish people in their own Grand Hospitality Evacuation Terrorfree Town Organizations. Oh, and be sure to label them with big yellow stars, for their own protection of course. More reliving proud moments in European history coming soon I'm sure.
If you were choosing a school for your child, would you like that child to be in a school favored by Arab or Muslim parents, or one favored by Jewish parents? Which do you think might provide an environment more conducive to learning? If you don't know the answer, ask Chinese-American, Japanese-American, and Korean-Americans parents what towns or school districts they favor for their own children.
I don't care what happens to the Muslim children. But what will happen to the quality of education of the other, non-Jewish but also non-Muslim children, in such an environment?
How about a practicum to the civics classes that these students doubtlessly are already taking?
The practicum would span the idea of "tolerance." In order to be awarded a passing grade in the class, students must exhibit tolerant behavior towards other students not of their background. Failure to do so results in a failure in the course. Failure in the course results in suspension of citizenship rights. No work permit, no welfare, no unemployment benefits, no health benefits until that practicum is sucessfully completed.
And conviction of criminal offenses while under suspension might be punishable with complete revocation of citizenship and deportation.
And, as teachers in France have found, there are subjects that must not be touched. French teachers, who receive their curriculum from the Ministry of Education (for a sample, see what those following that handed-down-from-on-high curriculum, while living abroad, do for the C.N.E.D., which google), find that they cannot discuss World War II or the mass-murder of Jews (it offends Muslims), they cannot teach about the history of France and French kings (it offends Muslims), they cannot teach about anything to do with the Christian religion (it offends Muslims), they cannot teach about world history other than history having to do with Muslims (it offends Muslims), they cannot teach the writings of Voltaire (it offends Muslims, because Voltaire wrote the play "Mahomet, ou l'Impostuer) or Montaigne (half-Jewish, and besides, the spirit of skepticism, of "Que scais-je?" is very much against the spirit of Islam which discourages skepticism, and encourages the habit of mental submission, to Allah of course, for he knows best), of Proust (well, you know), and so many others.
In Denmark, it might take a different turn. I would assume any Danish teacher who dared to try to teach Hans Christian Andersen, and his story "The Little Jewish Girl," would be physically threatened. And indeed, given Andersen's close friendship with the Melchiors, a family of Danish Jews, perhaps Hans Christian Andersen should be removed from the curriculum, in such schools, altoghether.
And please -- no mention of the Danish King, and the heroism of the Danish people, in resucing Jews during World War II. That would make Muslims feel very bad. It would make them feel that they were among the wrong kind of people, people who, from their point of view, behaved so badly during World War II. And we can't have them thinking that, and perhaps taking it out on the symbols of Danish authority, including teachers and principals, or policemen, or firemen, or just Danes walkinig in the street, can we?
And don't start trying to teach Muslims about Danish principles, including the solicitousness for so-called "free speech." Muslims know exactly what the Danish exercise of "free speech" can lead to - it can lead to cartoons about the Perfect Man, and we can't have that, can we?
Oh, Denmark. And oh, all of Western Europe. You've got to stop it now, while there is still time. You've got to halt, and then diminish, the size of the permanent menace. But first, you must understand the ideologyu of Islam, and why all hopes of changing or modifying it are forlorn, and why you must do what you must not only to protect yourselves physically, but to protect the civilizational legacy that you inherited, and without which, neither you, nor your progeny, nor the entire world -- not just the Western world -- will be in far far worse condition, than it has ever been before.
So much for the 'peace n'love' flower childern of the 1960s who let them into Denmark and other Western countries. The native populations are now paying big time for the drug-addled decisions of those PC scrimshankers. So much misery has been brought upon us in the name of multiculturalism. And still there's not one shred of regret or admission of being wrong from those who have got us where we are now. A country with backbone would carry out the Benes-Masaryk decree and rid itself of these troublemakers. But there's no such thing as a backbone in the decaying PC West.
great post Hugh , i can also tell you that Sharia is promoted in history textbooks (in secondary school)
Peguy --
That's a good name for a nom de post, and not chosen at random. Have you, by any chance, read Geoffrey HIll's "The Mystery of the Charity of Charles Péguy"?
I have never read this book , but i love Charles Péguy, great poet and formidable polemist like many others back in day (nowdays french writers are ridiculously PC).
And above everything he was an advocate of the traditional France and of the great french culture.
Also he was one of the first intellectual to defend Dreyfus before Zola took all the glory for himself with his "J'accuse".
It's embarrasing.
The headmaster of the school in mention was taking active part in the latest boycot Israel campaign, and is also a member of some Danish-Palestinian friendship organisation.
However, apart from this he may be right in the sense that he and his school is overpopulated with Palestinian emigrants of the worst kind. Volsmose is a suburb with a very bad reputation - one of the growing getthos of this country.
It's part of the same city in Denmark where the shooting of the two Israelis took place, - and believe it or not: It is also Hans Christan Andersen's place of birth, Odense.
This is how far it has come in this country. And it is even worse in Norway and Sweden. In Oslo riots are taking place this very moment, and at the same time Norway is the only western country recognising Hamas as the legal government at the Gaza strip - correct me if I'm wrong or if I left out some diplomatic details.
I do not know what to do. Resistance is growing, however, but we need political initiatives.
We can't even get rid of the Tunesian who according to Police Intelligence plotted to kill Kurt Westergaard the catoonist.
Which Europan country is acting the most canary bird at the moment?
This old (but still relevant) article by Daniel Pipes (2002) explains a lot of things.
The reaction by Danish politicos at the end is particularly revealing.

Errata:
for "has led to heightened tensions between Jews and Arabs - particularly Palestinians - here in Denmark", read, "has led to open expressions of hostility by Muslims, especially Arab Muslims, toward Jews - here in Denmark".
for 'children of Arab descent' read 'Muslim children'.
Why not draw the line against violence in these schools, and vow to protect the Jewish children?
Oh my, that would be entirely too difficult and might compromise the quality of education that muslim hoodlums obtain in their public school system. If teachers had to wear two hats, one for teaching and one for maintaining discipline and a uniform code of conduct, the entire school system would fall apart. It's much easier to let muslim thugs run the whole show, right down to dictating the curriculum and demanding segregated classrooms.
This is an admission that some Danish schools are not under the state's control and are run by intolerant, supremacist, immigrant muslim thugs. That fact should scare the hell out of every indigenous citizen because if they cannot control school children, who can they control? What good does it do to educate muslims in Danish schools if they don't learn anything about Danish culture, history, or government; if they do not learn to respect authority, play by the rules, and how to coexist with people of other backgrounds? Tomorrow's leaders and productive members of society are today's school children and that is a horrifying prospect in many Western nations, including the U.S.
I do not buy into the European excuse that they need these immigrants for a future workforce. Why import them now and burden the welfare system to the breaking point? How can muslims sustain the declining workforce if they refuse to interact with the Jewish segment of society; refuse to assimilate; and remain intolerant of other religions and cultures? If they won't go to school with Jews, will they work with them? How can Europe call itself "multicultural" when it marginalizes one segment of society to appease another? In some cases, every segment of society is being marginalized to appease muslims although muslims are the least productive and the most demanding, as well as the most violent, litigious, and intolerant.
Something is rotten in Denmark; something is rotten all over the European continent and as the muslim invasion proceeds, the worse it stinks and the less sense it makes. Europe's problems cannot be solved by muslim immigration; they are compounded by it and Europe's only hope for survival is to reverse this execrable, suicidal trend.
It is really sad when the headmasters of Danish schools announce that muslim students are incorrigible sociopaths who threaten the safety and well-being of non-muslim students. Once upon a time, society's young misfits were sent to places called reform schools. Maybe Denmark should build a few.
What exactly are Muslims doing in Denmark? Wasn't the Middle East good enough for them?
I know that there are plenty of resistance fighters in Europe who I respect.
But when I see stuff like this ...
I really wonder if the nazis really lost.
The Danes are having it easy, wait until they get to High School and move on to non Jews.
For information before we were enriched the old British tradition was that school yard fights are between two kids. Weapons were never used and if it resulted in nothing worse than a bloody nose the matter ends there. However today if the "Asian" loses there are reports that "up to 50" are summoned by mobile phone to extract revenge.
Last year after one minor playground fracas in Wiltshire in the south of England 10 "youths" attacked a single kuffur with a hammer and left him brain damaged. Extracts from the report,
"She told the BBC the men attacked the boy and then another got out a hammer and starting hitting him."
"He fell to the floor and asked them to stop, but they kept kicking him."
She added: "The boy tried to get up but they kept hitting him, then suddenly they all ran away."
This case is only unique in its ferocity but despite censorship in the UK enough reports appear about such gang attacks indicate a problem.

Re the article by Daniel Pipes and Lars Hedegaard:
Quote from the article: "These minor adjustments prompted howls internationally - with European and U.N. reports condemning Denmark for racism and "Islamophobia," the Washington Post reporting that Muslim immigrants "face habitual discrimination," and a London Guardian headline announcing that "Copenhagen Flirts with Fascism.""
Yep, that's exactly the problem. Whenever we try to do something we seem to be either caught up in international conventions or condemned by the "free world's" leading papers.
So is the problem ours only or might we need a little help from our friends around the world?
(With regard to the comments from two MPs: These two in particular are among the worst of our politicians: they and their party bear the major responsibility for letting in all the problems. Same party that disarmed the country before WW2, same party who delivered Scavenius as prime during the war, same party that even today hails Scavenius as "the Danish statesman of the century", etc.
They represent around 4 - 6% of the voters, but managed to place themselves as the party sine qau none due to our proportional election system. Since Mr. Fogh Rasmussen took over, they have been left out in the cold. Finally!)
There are notorious tensions, even violence, between different factions of Muslims in European schools, even at the primary level, between Turks and Arabs, Pakis and Somalis, Arabs and blacks, and yet, their safety is guaranteed. Very interesting. Europe has already begun to awaken to the meaning of the phrase "then comes Sunday," particularly as regards children in schools. I know this from reading the comments on a certain supremacist British party's webpage (which was hilarious, btw, in that the people who belong to said party seem to be able recognize *who* is the problem, but have the 'why' all wrong).
And to think that they're letting Muslims into Christian schools. Christian schools should now be designated safe-havens for Jewish students, and that means no ethic cleansing by way of the presence of Muslims. Don't make Jews home-school their kids. If you do, in 25 years, we may very well actually control the banks and the media, given what I gather about the curricula in Europe.
If these "schools with a high percentage of Muslims" are really interested in "putting the children's safety first", they'll start limiting the number of MUSLIM kids they accept.
Western liberal education is eroding Western backbone. So --if we can't respect our culture enough to defend our culture-- we won't have "our" culture anymore.
(Guess the Mo-toons thing was an aberration, eh? Now it's obvious that Denmark DOESN'T stand for Western freedoms. Too bad.)
Better start practicing averting your glance from the faces of your overlords, Denmark!
