Fitzgerald: The UN: Thoroughly infiltrated and taken over by Muslims at every level

It is hard to think of an organization that has been more thoroughly infiltrated and taken over by Muslims at every level, than the United Nations. It has for decades been filled with such willing collaborators as Edward Mortimer, the former Chief Speech Writer and Senior Adviser, as he billed himself, to Kofi Annan -- and for all I know, perhaps he's still senior-advising and chief-speech-writing for that Innocent Abroad Ban Ki-Moon, especially when it comes to Muslim matters.

This infiltration can be seen everywhere, from the actual staffing of the U.N. secretariat, to the power of the Islamic bloc, which is the last sizable voting bloc left now that the Soviet bloc has dissolved. What should be the bloc of enlightened democracies has lost its way -- not least because of the effect of the anti-Israel atmosphere with which the United Nations is suffused, and the atmosphere of apologetics for Islam with which it is also suffused. And then of course there are those Western countries whose elites are terrified of offending the aggressive and dangerous Muslims who are now living in their very midst, and about which they have not a clue as to what to do. At the United Nations, Islam, or the Organization of the Islamic Conference, whenever Israel or Darfur or anything to do with Islam comes up, effectively calls the tune.

Why, almost half the time of the U.N. and its succursales, such as that comic organization supposedly devoted to Human Rights in Geneva, is dedicated to the proposition that Mighty Israel, the vast Empire of Israel, is the single most important topic, and of course threat, in the world today. The Geneva Human Rights council is that one whose deliberations are sometimes interrupted by the voices of steady sanity of David Littman and Roy Brown, and a few others like them. But even there the Muslim delegates have so intimidated, with their aggression and their sheer craziness, so many of the others, even Western European delegates, that even the most intelligent representatives of Western Europe shrink from confrontation with the primitive representatives of primitive peoples, made primitive, it must be said, by Islam itself.

And on the East River, the usual inmates of bedlam try to outdo one another in paying obeisance to Muslim countries. Of course, if those Muslim countries had no oil, they would have nothing. And had they not had, more than a millennium ago, a certain number of Christians and Jews and Zoroastrians in their recently-conquered lands, they would surely not even be able to claim what little they can claim as "Islam's contributions to civilization." An ideology that is all-encompassing, that encourages the habit of mental submission, that restricts so severely the varieties of artistic expression, that discourages in every way the spirit of critical inquiry, that mistreats women and, most important of all, mistreats all non-Muslims but insists on loyalty only to Islam and to fellow members of the Umma -- it is the adherents of this who dare now to demand even more.

The U.N. is now perilously in the position of the League of Nations. The League of Nations, or, as the French call it, La Societe des Nations (and society it was, with lots of elegant socializing) could do nothing about Fascism and Nazism. And even though the odd American veto can prevent the most egregious and absurd of resolutions passed by the Yesterday's Men who are the current diplomats at the United Nations from so many of the now-threatened Infidel lands, the U.N. remains a corrupt and corrupting institution.

Fortunately, just in time, the Muslims have overplayed their hand, with too many attacks in too many places. Now the spectacle of violent mobs of keffiyehed Muslims in European cities has impressed upon many Europeans the notion that these Muslims in their midst, and their local fellow travelers, are a menace that will not go away. That realization is dawning. It is being helped along not so much by what non-Muslims have done or said, but in the main by what Muslims have done and said. And they will continue, in their violence and aggression and impossible demands, to alert the non-Infidel world to what they are and what they are doing. And so that Infidel world is slowly, as if out of a deep sleep, shaking its locks, and coming, fitfully and by slow degrees, awake.

I hope the world is waking up but the coverage by the drive-by media of the troubles in Gaza seems very sympathetic to the Palestinians.

Until the voters send the message that NO politician gets elected who supports or encourages the importation of Islam into the West, we will find ourselves moving deeper and deeper in the a New Age of Darkness.

Time is getting short. Does Gaza need to play itself out in every Western country, before the self-loathing of Westerners is cast aside?

The stand we take now will determine whether our grandchildren will revere or curse us.

Hugh, you probably meant non-islamic or infidel world (instead of non-infidel).

Damn, Hugh, but this was chock fulla quoty goodness! Inmates of Bedlam! Primitive Representatives of the Primitive People made Primitive by Islam, itself. YAY! The epithet hath returned to its fulsome vigour!
What do you think will happen when the UN realizes it is no longer useful? Might it become dangerous when the money goes away? They seem impervious to my mocking them.

Jewel,Hugh,
Here's hoping you're BOTH right!

Hugh:

A mistake: "And they will continue, in their violence and aggression and impossible demands, to alert the non-Infidel [ you mean, "non-Muslim" ] world to what they are and what they are doing."

Sorry. I see that two posters have now noted the mistake. I'll fix it right now.

Wake up faster, infidel world. It is close to midnight. The night is coming in which no one can sleep. Be caught sleeping soon, and you will wake up mastered and required to bow the head, to wear the Star of David, to pay the jizya.

But even there the Muslim delegates have so intimidated all the others, with their aggression and their sheer craziness, that even the most intelligent representatives of Western Europe shrink from confrontation with the primitive representatives of primitive peoples, made primitive, it must be said, by Islam itself. -Hugh

Their primitive response to inquiry into the inequities of primitive fundamental Islam fits their primitive format: duck their flying shoes!

All this is making me suspect that the newly-Islamified/jihadized UN that was the REAL mastermind behind the 9-11 attacks. And may be the mastermind of the NEXT 9-11 attack on US soil (and make no mistake about it--another ones's coming).

All this is making me think the sooner we force the UN off American territory the safer we'll all be.

May we never see nor hear of the United Nationsin its present incarnation ever again!!!

I hope your predictions in the last paragraph of your essay are correct, Hugh.

I've seen a few such examples, such changes of hearts and minds in Europeans that I know personally, and who didn't use to be able to spot the dangers, or see the evil lurking around the corner. But they're still far from very numerous.

However, as you've said, the latest round of aggressive and immoral demonstrations by those blood-thirsty lunatics in keffiyehs should help raise awareness of the threat that they pose. If that doesn't, I don't know what might.

Here's my "Tribute to Edward Mortimer" that appeared at JW three years ago:

The Director of Communications at the U.N. and Kofi Annan's Chief Speechwriter (and also his "Senior Adviser") is one Edward Mortimer, formerly with the Euro-Arab Dialogue branch of the E.U., and before that, a journalist with a variety of English newspapers. He is most famous, among those who remember what he wishes they would forget, for the absolute delight with which he greeted that primitive pro-fascist mass-murderer, the Ayatollah Khomeini, the man who in his writings carefully explains to whom it is licit to serve the cooked remains of a goat, a camel, a sheep with which you have had sexual intercourse and then killed and cooked. That allows one to deal with that famous problem immortalized in song -- "breaking-up-is-hard-to-do" -- and at the same time thriftily observing the ethic of "waste not, want not." And then, of course, there are the Ayatollah's remarks on the absolute necessity of making war on the Infidels (see, for bloodthirsty samples, Ibn Warraq's Why I Am Not a Muslim, pp 11-12, and Robert Spencer’s Islam Unveiled, p. 35).
Here is what Edward Mortimer, the man who puts the words in Kofi Annan's mouth and therefore helps to mold what pass for Kofi Annan's "thoughts," wrote when the Ayatollah Khomeini first came to power, as reported by the English writer Anthony Howard:

Way back at the start of 1979, when the Iranian people took to the streets and the late Shah was overthrown, the media - as I recall - did not so much give a shudder of horror as heave a sigh of relief. Indeed, one London periodical (the ultra-respectable, middle-of-the-road Spectator) went almost overboard in its exultation. Writing from Teheran, one of its contributors, Mr. Edward Mortimer of The Times of London, actually went so far as to begin his article with Charles James Fox's comment on the fall of the Bastille: ''How much the greatest event it is that ever happened in the world, and how much the best!'' Those words, added Mr. Mortimer, seemed to him ''entirely apposite.''
That is Mortimer on Khomeini's resistible rise: "How much the greatest event it is that ever happened in the world, and how much the best" are words, he wrote, that seemed to him "entirely apposite."

And not surprisingly, Mortimer is venomous on the subject of Israel. Now the real antisemites, as is known, have a few topics that they cannot leave alone, that haunt them, that they love to discuss endlessly. For some, it may be the supposedly "deliberate" attack by Israeli planes on the U.S.S. Liberty in June 1967 -- despite the careful analyses and now the released tapes that show conclusively that it was, of course, a mistake, friendly fire of the most understandable kind. (This does not prevent the likes of James Bamford in one of his books from claiming, without the least evidence, that Israel did this in order to "cover up" its crimes of executing Egyptian prisoners -- but then Bamford, of course, is the kind of man who pretends to be a tough, no-nonsense clear-eyed defender of America while opposing efforts to wiretap violent jihadists and insisting that there is no problem with Islam or a Jihad, no, of course not -- the problem is America's unreserved and total (!) "support of Israel." Tell that to the Christians in East Timor or the Southern Sudan.
Now there is one other favorite topos of the convinced antisemite. And that is that the "Zionists" collaborated with -- the Nazis. This nauseating charge is made, in fact, by among others, one Lenni Brenner. No serious reviewer would bother with such trash. But Edward Mortimer found the thesis of a Zionist-Nazi collaboration so convincing, so meritorious, that he wrote a rave review that was then used as the introduction for a new edition of the book. That tells one all one needs to know about Edward Mortimer's deepest impulses, and not only when it comes to Israel.

So this is the man who, though he had praised Khomeini to the Jacobin skies back in 1979, and heaped praise on Lonni Brenner's antisemitic viciousness back in 1984, was hired nonetheless -- no, make that "was hired for that reason" -- by the United Nations. It is Edward Mortimer who puts the "twaddle" in Kofi Annan's mouth -- the mouth of the man who heads an organization that has been taken over by the Islamintern. Edward Mortimer deserves the U.N.; the U.N. deserves Edward Mortimer. What a mix, what a continuous Witches' Sabbath on the East River.

Meanwhile, a million black Christians in southern Nigeria died, many of them killed by Egyptian pilots bombing civilians -- and the U.N. did nothing. The U.N. did nothing when 200,000 Christians in East Timor died; it was the Australians who had to rescue the rest with their own troops. In 20 years of genocidal attacks, the U.N. has done nothing effective to help the Christians of the southern Sudan, despite the superb and anguished reports of its Special Rapporteur Gaspar Biro. Kofi Annan went out of his way to prevent General Romeo Dalaire from acting to intervene and head off the Rwanda Genocide. The Hutus, incidentally, had earlier received arms from Egypt; at the time, the Secretary-General was the sad-eyed Boutros Boutros Ghali, a man deeply afraid of the Egyptian Government. Kofi Annan was in charge of peacekeeping.

The ongoing discussions about Darfur are farcical. The U.N. will not and cannot act, because the Arab League, and many other Muslim countries, will simply not permit any intervention to save either non-Muslims or non-Arab Muslims when they are under attack by Muslim Arabs. Only against Iraq, in the past 30 years, has the U.N. authorized military force against a Muslim power. And it was not to rescue the Kurds during the Al-Anfal Operation against them. No, it was only in response to the invasion of Kuwait and the threatened invasion of Saudi Arabia -- for then other Muslim powers were directly threatened. And the resolutions left over from the end of that first Gulf War were the only reason the United States obtained some half-hearted backing this time around.

But unless it is other Muslims who are being threatened, the U.N. will never, ever, take the side of intervention. It has been thoroughly infiltrated by pro-Islamic, and anti-Israel and anti-American forces. And Edward Mortimer beautifully exemplifies all three strands. He deserves special attention and no doubt a special prize from Muslim sources -- for efforts that surpass even what they expected.

Well done, Edward Mortimer. Well done, illegitimate Edward.

In fact, should not Edward Mortimer have been invited to the Dallas shindig last year that celebrated the Works and Days of the Ayatollah Khomeini, so as to have leant it a certain false olde-worlde charm, and given it the benefit of that pseudo-plummy voice, brimming with self-confidence, and all the rest of what Edward Mortimer has to offer -- which is what, exactly?

Let's be honest here, things must be desperate for someone so patroitic like HF to write an article like this.

The UN military has tried, the UN civilians have tried....and also the military-civilians UN forces has been deployed and tried before in various guises and not much has been achieved. The UN created by the US is hated by the US; NO my friends this is no to run the UN.

The correct solution is to follow the teaching of the muslim faith, and use them to run the UN. What are we afraid of here? We ask for shariat courts in Britain, why not use them here?

The UN can only be run correctly by the religious faternity. We have tried all the other ways; so why not give the muftis a go now?

I hope you were being sarcastic, keeping low.

Hey.. is someone FINALLY beginning to wake up and SEE what is going on in the world today.

The United States sends billions to the UN and is TOLD what to say and do by the Muslims of the world.

Terrorism is a means of controlling the masses by the few. No major capital needed. Just a bunch of dedicated Muslims that are religious crazies.

There is no greater PROBLEM in the world than the masses of Muslims in all our 'infidel' cities and countries. They want religious freedom and demand their RIGHTS as non citizens of the United States and of the World.

When they are not even citizens of the United States and march in our streets protesting the JUSTIFIED attack of ISRAEL on terrorists... there is no justice.

The UN was a grand idea when it first started it is NOW A MUSLIM CONTROLLED JOKE. Controlled by graft and Muslims that have no care for humanity and the rest of the world.. Just forwarding the objectives of Allah as they see it.

IT SHOULD BE DISBANDED and moved let the Saudias fund the NEW UN.

Cut off the money we give to the UN! That will fix everything. Because no other country is stupid enough to dump so much money down the rathole known as the UN.

And if it doesn't fix things, at least they won't have any of our money.

I simply can't understand why the democratic countries of the world would for even one second wish to maintain their memberships in the united neanderthals. Any relevence it may once have had flew the coop three decades ago.
"Send money and take shit." - Who needs them?
