PARIS – A juvenile court judge filed preliminary charges against four French teenagers accused of attacking a Jewish girl, a judicial official said Friday, amid tensions around Europe over the fighting in Gaza.
Three of the four teenagers are accused of violence with a religious or ethnic motive, and the fourth is accused of failing to prevent a crime, the official said. The official was not authorized to be named because the investigation is ongoing.
The four defendants — aged between 13 and 15 — are not in custody but are under judicial supervision. Under French law, preliminary charges allow for further investigation before a magistrate determines whether to send the case to trial.
The teenagers are accused of making anti-Semitic insults toward the 14-year-old girl, pushing her to the ground and kicking her as she was leaving school in the northern Paris suburb of Villiers-le-Bel.
The girl was lightly injured in the attack.
Investigators suspect the attackers used the Israeli offensive in Gaza as a pretext, the judicial official said.

France is starting to reap the whirlwind. With the population hovering around 30% Muslim, the country is way beyond critical mass for change and probably irretrievable in the short term. Under normal circumstances, who would care. These teenagers are only French due to a geographical accident of where they were born. They're from France but they're not of France.

One thing is clear, that Anna Marie, needs to have her head examined. If the motive for the vandalism was unclear to her it's because she wants them to be unclear. That's the line all ideologues take when they can't face the truth.

Aren't you forgetting a little war that began in 1776, and was won at Yorktown in 1781 by two Frenchmen, the Marquis de Lafayette, and Admiral de Grasse (with some help from a local insurgent called Washington)?
Why is it that they mention the victim's religion several times for this "religiously or ethnic" incident, while the religion of the perpetrators can't be mentioned? We saw the same kind of reporting on the Denmark mall shooting!

So were some of mine, among the group that settled north of NYC, along the Hudson. Another group settled in and around Charleston, SC. There may have been other settlements that I don't know of.

In Algeria, France won the war militarily and was defeated diplomatically.
