Although decent, this video would be a lot better without the tacky sounds attached...they were more popular in the 7th grade.

It's a short, sharp, shock of a video and should be played in every school in the West. It tells us what we need to know and why it happened. I find it a very informative video ans straight to the point. There's nothing flash about the video(excuse the pun) and it answers all the questions necessary.

I have a bad feeling that corrupt western politicians are going to have their hands out for a multitude of bribes and Israel will be left alone even by the USA.
I've viewed some DVD's about the Middle east and they were so full of holes they looked more like a Comedy film with cheap actors and fabricated Hospitals fully staffed with workers that don't wear gloves or appear sterilized when touching those injured children soaked in fake blood .
I researched the Movie "Redacted" and saw how the trailers and promo comments on the case were misleading by claiming it was based on a True-Event and filmed in the Middle east.
But it didn't say exactly what Event was True .
Yes there are American troops in Iraq,yes there are Check-points,yes civilains have benn killed as in every war,and yes the actors were "Real" people . The film was made in the Middle east but not even close to the Town of Iraq they claim it was to be , and we all know that some Privacy Laws to protect witnesses may force some Documents to be blacked-out .
The latest farce is the "Haditha" massacre , it's based on Court records prior to any Convictions that come from the facts and Evidence that confirms a crime was committed by a soldier. The Movie avoids telling you that Civilians worked the IED bomb by a switch when they saw the convoy come by , and there was questions over claims of murdering civilians and the rape of a girl because we know that Jihad include suicide or to fabricate evidence like for raping your own sister and say the Americans did it.
How ironic that in Toronto the Police had to protect a handfull of Pro-Israel suports from a Hate-filled mob of about 5000 pro-hamas/Hezballah thugs .
These same violent thugs want canadians to believe that if the Police weren't there it would have been more Peaceful and the pro-Israel people are safe.
The Police have guns for a reason,and canada has Laws for a reason, Palestinians better wake-up to the fact that we are not as stupid as they think we are just because we Allow their protests .
It's far better canada finds out now so we can change our Refugee Policy and Immigration Standards for these Pro-Terrorists that slipped in as a Refugee seeking peace in canada, it will be too late once the Hamas and Hezballah population in Toronto starts to claim land for Allah while sending Bombers into the subways and buses from the oppression in canada.

Frankly, it's little enough to catch some history as so many try. But this site still holds my attention.
Yet, the issue you raise deserves amplification.
Many people think that the Israeli's packed up one day, got some free air-miles and went on "Diaspora".
Those that stayed were kept by "occupiers" Romans, Turks, etc., only to provide what "occupiers" couldn't. It's interesting that those Arabs that have called Israelis
"occupiers", with no history of their own, neither legends nor lands, rely upon a mysticism that they neither read nor enjoy.

another very accessible book that covers the history of 'palestine', i.e. land of Canaan, land of Israel, during the entire period from pre-Biblical times right through to the re-establishment of the Jewish state, with lots of fascinating - and damning - information about the nature and inexorably destructive effect of the Muslim imperium 7th C-1917, is James Parkes' " A History of Palestine' (1949), reprinted in a revised form in 1970 as "Whose Land? A History of the Peoples of Palestine".
(Nota bene: Parkes uses 'Palestine' in the old pre-1948 way - as a geographical descriptor, the term inherited by western Europeans from the Romans; within the book he explicitly refers to the land as 'the Land', translating the Hebrew ha-aretz).
You should find these in any major library.
The book shows three things very clearly -
first, that during the entire period of the Muslim imperium the land was NEVER entirely Judenrein;
second, that *the* major drop in the Jewish population (which is now used to 'justify' Muslim claims to the land) was not caused by the Romans in AD 70 or AD 135 (for at the time of the Muslim invasions in the 7th century there was a very substantial Jewish plurality in Byzantine Palestine, as witness the many ruins of large and elegant synagogues from that period) but rather by the Muslims, both directly through killings and deportations and deliberate drivings out, but also through making life so awful that Jews left;
and third, that Jews from within the rest of the Islamosphere and also from within Christendom regularly visited the Land or returned to it, all the way along, 7th C - 1917, despite the fact that Jews in the Land were given particularly nasty treatment by the Muslim overlords, worse than they received in other places.
Basically: it's not true that all the Jews vanished from the land of Israel in AD 70 with nary a one being seen there again until the 1880s - that picture, which I suspect is still firmly lodged in many a mind in the West, is totally false.
Parkes also wrote a handy little book called 'The Story of Jerusalem' - recommended.
Parkes was a devoted and very knowledgeable friend of Israel and the Jews - he is best known for a monumental and brutally honest study of Christian antisemitism, entitled, 'The Conflict of the Church and the Synagogue'.
Two other excellent and accessible books are Walter Clay Lowdermilk, 'Palestine: Land of Promise' (1944: note well the date), and John Roy Carlson's "From Cairo to Damascus" (1951).
Carlson pretended to be a pro-Muslim fascist type (he was actually a Judeophile Armenian Christian) and did a lot of undercover work among the Muslim jihadis during the Israeli war of Independence. He *saw* what the local Arab Muslims were like, and why and how they left.
It's a great book - his observations of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1940s Egypt are eerie to read nowadays, given what the Ikhwan has become.
Everyone here who observed what the Arab Muslims did to the hi-tech greenhouses in Gaza, must read Lowdermilk and Carlson's books side by side.
Why? because Lowdermilk, who visited 'Palestine' in 1939, just as WWII was breaking out,on page 117-18 of his book spends quite a lot of time glowingly describing a splendid state of the art fertiliser plant 'Palestine Potash Ltd', that had been set up next to the Dead Sea; a plant which, in 1947, when Carlson saw it, had fallen into territory under Jordanian control...and was being systematically, viciously, mindlessly smashed to bits and looted (see chapter 20 of Carlson's book for the description).
