If part of being a muslim means complete disregard for human life of any kind, including their own; being a black muslim means that someone has to despise oneself completely to want to be described as such.

THEY are the lucky ones. Avishai and Yolanda Pinchas brought some 50 homeless Sudanese to the large tent and wooden huts in their back yard at the Kadesh Barnea kibbutz. The Sudanese now enjoy a steady stream of donated food and clothes, including a shipment of new top-of-the-line sports shoes from one of Mr Pinchas's friends. Well-disposed doctors check up on them, and several student volunteers play with the children. At night they can hear the shooting as another group of refugees tries to cross the border a mile or two away.

Israel now has an estimated 1,200-1,300 Sudanese asylum-seekers, some 500 of them from war-torn Darfur. Most spent several years in Egypt, but even those officially granted asylum could rarely get work, and suffered slum living conditions and racist abuse (“chocolata, africaca [African shit], slave”, says one woman, recounting the epithets she used to hear). They began trickling across the porous border to Israel after Egyptian police killed at least 27 at a demonstration in Cairo in 2005. By spring of this year, the news that Israeli soldiers don't kill Sudanese and that people hand out Nike trainers for nothing had spread, hyped up by Bedouin smugglers who, like Mexico's coyotes, charge hundreds of dollars a head to deliver people across the wasteland of the Sinai desert. Hundreds more from other African countries are seeking asylum too.…

As regards the Sudanese refugees in Israel.

Many are Christian (I was reading about them on the website of the branch of the Bible Society that operates in Israel; the Society was providing the Christians with Scriptures in their languages, and they were pathetically grateful).

The Christians - all of whom are survivors of, and fugitives from, the ghastly jihad genocide that has been going on in southern Sudan since at least the 1960s, more or less - are going to have to be regretfully informed, by the Israelis, that in fleeing from Sudan through Egypt to Israel they have merely jumped from the frying pan into the fire.

If I were the Israelis, having done this, I would then explain firmly to the Christian Sudanese - and any animist Sudanese also - that if they wished to stay safe and free within Israel every man jack of them over 13 must sign up ASAP for basic military training, in order that they might be able to help defend the haven that they have found; or, failing that, report for 'home front' duty (peeling spuds, etc) in order to release IDF reservists and soldiers for active combat duty.

I am quite, quite sure that the non-Muslim Sudanese within Israel would jump at the chance to strike back against jihad, on behalf of their murdered friends and family, and on behalf of those who have shown them hospitality.

As for any Sudanese Muslims, they would have to be told that they simply could not be permitted to stay. One could first attempt, with the help of the Christians, to crack them free of Islam (given their recent bitter revelation re . the Arab supremacism coded into it); but if that fails, alas, out they must go. Send them to Muslim West Africa, perhaps - Mauritania? Mali?

VERY slick production values, considering at what short notice those referring to the current battle would have had to be produced.

So, Israel bombs Gaza. About 400 dead, of which more than 300 are Hamas fighters.
We have to consider the plight of Israel pre-bombing:
* Hamas's charter calls for the end of Israel, basically for genocide. Hamas (the government in Gaza) has been one with the sending of continued missile attacks on Israel. While casualties have not been humongous, it makes living in those areas that are bombed untenable.
* Hezbollah (in Lebanon, on Israel's northern border) calls for the end (you can translate extermination) of the Israeli state
* Iran's Ahmadinejad calls for the extermination of the Jews (and the Iranian nut faction, a large portion of the population, loves it)

Bottom line: you read the Quran (not just the first chapters, which are moderate, but are considered to be abrogated by later chapters, more violent spoutings of Muhammad) and you will see that Jew-hatred is a mandate for Muslims.

You don't see Muslims frothing about Mumbai's attacks from Pakistan.
You don't see Muslims frothing about millions killed by Sudan's Muslim leaders.
You don't see Muslims frothing about Somalian violence.
You don't see Muslims frothing about attacks by Islamists against the elected governments of Iraq and Afghanistan, killing the soldiers and policemen thereof.

Bottom line #2: if rational populations lived adjacent to Israel, we wouldn't be having these eternal problems.

And that problem won't be solved as long as there is Islam.
