An Invercargill cafe owner who says refusing to serve two Israeli women was one small protest from the bottom of the South Island.Mustafa Tekinkaya, who is Muslim and originally from Turkey, asked the two women to leave his Melvana Cafe after hearing them speak Hebrew and establishing they were Israeli .
He says his actions were a protest over the conflict in Gaza where 1,000 people have now died, half of them women and children.
"And they are killing our future. The human future. And I just wanted to like make a voice, as one little man in the bottom of the South Island."
Mr Tekinkaya says he is happy the women have complained loudly about his actions, as that is exactly what he wanted. He says he enjoyed the reaction when he refused them service.
"One woman I didn't serve made huge noise. I love it, I love it - it's how I want it to be."
Race Relations Commissioner Joris de Bres says refusing to serve the women because they are Israeli is a clear breach of human rights. He says whatever the rights or wrongs of the Palestinian situation, it is against the law for providers of goods and services in New Zealand to discriminate in such a way.
Mr de Bres says it is important people respect the right of others to hold a different opinion and not discriminate against them on that basis.
But Mr Tekinkaya remains unrepentant and is unconcerned about any complaint to the Human Rights Commission.
"This is my side. If they're taking their side they are not welcome in my shop."
It will be interesting to see if this is taken to a human rights commission in New Zealand.

Right you are! The owner of my local indy auto parts store (me major gear head) was very cautious during election night, as was I, before discussing the results. And I've been his loyal customer for around 20 years (me getting old too). I was picking up a battery, I think I went first saying Obama was inexperienced and a socialist, then we had a nice discussion as he felt the same.
Here in sunny California, many establishments post a sign saying that the business has a right to refuse service to anyone.
I don't think this has to do with race, or politics, but drunken disturbers, people without shirts, and shoes, trouble makers, etc.
Basically the public is allowed in places open to the public...Israeli's included...
Mustafa was probably in violation of some local law...If nothing else, he created a public disturbance and was happy about it...

And it seems to me that all decent Gentiles in Invercargill, confronted by this blatant display of Muslim antisemitism, should duly boycott Mustafa's shop, and encourage all their friends and neighbours to do likewise. After all: if he hates Jews so much that he refuses to serve them...what might he be putting in the coffee of his other Infidel customers?
I would assume that if a customer is not drunk and disorderly or improperly dressed or underage (in the case of a bar or certain other types of business) or suchlike, they must be served. Discrimination against one's customers on the basis of nationality, ethnicity or religion is just not on. So let him be sued!
Meanwhile, other punishments may be unofficially inflicted by the community. There is no law whatever that says that the good citizens of Invercargill, NZ, MUST patronise Mr Mustafa's cafe.
Indeed, they are perfectly free to boycott him to their hearts' content. Were I living in Invercargill, NZ, he would be getting no custom from me!

When I was studying Hebrew at uni many years ago (no I'm not Jewish) an Israeli women in the class told me how she had to be careful because someone had "fixed" the brakes on her car. She thought some Arab had done it.
I'm an Aussie and here's a piece of Australian history for you. When WWII broke out, a couple of Turks here, no doubt good Muslims and citizens of the Ottoman empire, went on the jihad war-path. I think they shot up a train and killed some people.

Can you clear something up for me re: Krispi-creme doughnuts? Are you saying you will boycott Krispi-creme because they are typically Muslim run stores in your neighborhood or because the corporation is Muslim controlled?
Not that it matters too much, there is a very good Viet Namese-run doughnut shop just a stroll from my house, and I only eat perhaps 3 or 4 doughnuts a year anyhow. If Muslims took over the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company I would be in a real bind however!

(Don't be surprised by the Scots name of either the town or the poster - South Island, New Zealand, being cold, mountainous, and about equal parts forest and sheep pasture, is heavily populated by people of Scots extraction who migrated there because it reminded them so much of Home.)

Krispi-creme as I understand it is now a Muslim owned corporation and therefore not suitable to give my money to. That a culturally valued landmark here in America such as Krispi-creme Donuts is now owned by members of the death cult is just beyond sad. Except that whenever I used to get near their store I couldn't stop by eating just one so maybe it's a good thing. Naw, it's good thing for my new exercise regime, a very bad thing for America since the average Krispi-creme eatin' customer doesn't have a clue that their money is going towards instituting their own dhimmitude.
I think you are safe on the brewing company, though. If they ever did try to close that baby down the 2nd American Revolution would commence, and I would be glad for it. ; )
I have written a letter to the NZ Human Rights Commission demanding they they take action against this CRIME I encourage others to do the same. I have also written to the mayor Tim Shadbolt and to the local member for parliament Eric Roy!
Why just write on a blog site and convert the converted? Write to someone who can make a difference and let them count your solidarity against Israeli/Jewish persecution.
