The video I posted two days ago, of German police breaking into an apartment to oblige an Allahu-akbaring Muslim mob by removing an Israeli flag from a window, has been (surprise, surprise) removed by YouTube.
However, Beate Klein from the German weblog pi-news.net has kindly alerted me to the fact that you can see it here, on pi-news.net. And now the story has also reached German television -- see here.
There are two choices here for the police to make,either keep the peace, or defend freedom of expression----They should have chose the latter.

Note the difference in the results when you Google "Obama palestine t-shirt shop" or "jidl facebook." Then tell me Google has no agenda. They need to make an Ixquick Scholar so I can boycott Google altogether. All the other Google offshoots (e.g. Google Images, Google blogs) are terrible anyway.

I could point out several hundred videos on YouTube which violate some law (either copyright or something else) but what did this video violate according to them? It was the user's own video, so it didn't violate copyrights. And it simply documented something that has happened. I'd be curious with the reasoning that YouTube has for the removal of this video.

What about charging the police with illegal entry? Do they have that in Germany?
If a pro-jewish march was going down the street and a Hamas flag was in a window the police wouldn't do a thing.
The German police have already surrendered, when they are more concerned with the rights of the person and their flag being on their own property, then they are concerned with muslims controlling theirselves and complying with the laws.
If I am the Pope walking down the German streets are they going to go remove anything offencsive to me from peoples private property?

Of course we do have such laws (article 13 of the German Constitution). However, there are a few exceptions when entry is not deemed illegal - in the case of a search warrant or in the case of an "imminent danger" such as a fire - or an angry Muslim mob in this. Of course, the right thing would have been to disperse the demonstration and arrest the rioters (who should be deported, of course). The chief of police said in an interview that they had to weigh the inviolability of the home against the danger of an escalation and that they had opted for breaking the door and removing the flag. Then he added that they had been proven right by the subsequent "de-escalation" of the situation (i.e. the rioters got what they wanted). Not enough, he went on to add that the guy who had put the flag there just wanted to "provoke". So if the Muslim mob gets what they want (while breaking the law), this is "de-escalation". I'm afraid that this will lead to more "de-escalation" in the future, and the term "dhimmitude" would be more suitable. If you parade through Berlin with a Hizbullah flag or a portrait of sheik Yassin (piss be upon him) and if you chant "death to the Jews", then there is no problem whatsoever, but if you display an Israeli flag in your window, then that is a "provocation" and a threat to public security. The Jews must feel like back in 1938 when the mob burned down synagogues with active or passive support from the firefighters and the police.

I gather that the police have finally apologized for having taken the "wrong decision" (see watch?v=LKS5WoNjquY at youtube, unfortunately in German language) and the first demands were made that the responsible police chief should be dismissed for having made a "severe mistake", and the whole incident will be debated in the state parliament.
The joke in the German wdr.de video is that at the end they discuss who's going to pay for the cost of replacing the tenant's smashed in door and NOT what the social consequences are of German police forces destroying a citizen's right to free speech AGAINST totalitarian Islamic mobs outside his home. The angle of that story is as ridiculous as wasting news time discussing Hillary Clinton's hair color and what kind of dog the Obamas are going to get. Our media are a total farce!
