Reporter: "In March 2008, the Shabab Al-Mujahideen group appeared in Somalia. Its members have managed to take the dynamics of war to a new level. This extremely secret group has been placed by the U.S. on its list of so-called terrorist groups. Members of this movement conceal their identity."
Abu Mansour: "We are fighting to remove oppression and colonialism from our country. We are defending ourselves against those who attacked us. Once we succeed, we will fight to end oppression in other places in the world."
Reporter: "This is the city of Marka, which is located 90 km from Mogadishu. This is one of the few places controlled by the Shabab Al-Mujahideen, who filled a political vacuum, while they continue to fight in Mogadishu. Shabab Al-Mujahideen controls large parts of the center of Somalia, and they are growing stronger day by day."
Ibrahim Al-Maqdasi: "We want to inform Bush and our rivals about our real intentions. We will establish Islamic rule from Alaska and Chile to South Africa, and from Japan to Russia. Beware, we are coming."

I do pest control here and I can tell you that 40% of the homes I crawl under have cases of ammo stashed under them. Usually at least 5. That's a thousand rounds to a case.
Folks stash their ammo in lotsa places. I'm just seeing a small percentage of what's out there I'm sure. I find that to be very reassuring.
I also hear machine gun fire around me here in the woods on weekends. Lots of my neighbors have machine guns and practice their marksmanship regularly. Another thing I find to be quite comforting. It's not that tough to get a Class III weapons permit up here.
There is no restriction on concealed carry here either, and most folks either carry a firearm on them or have one in their car.
Anyone stands up and starts to pull a firearm will not get far through his Allah Akbar routine before being gunned down.

Pest control. Is there a better way to describe a war against jihadists? I know that's not the reason why you wrote it, but I couldn't help the thought after having had a second look at your posting.
Many Somali people from the west return to Somalia to practice Jihad to. We do not see any western converts travel to these regions. They prefer Pakistan/Afghanistan because they are used to getting 'white' muslims to join their ranks.
In the beginning many so called 'white-converts' were killed when they arrived at the battlefields, suspected of espionage. That changed later on.

While the North Pole’s landscape may evoke images of igloos and barren snow fields, the crescent moon and minaret will soon vie for their place in Norway’s Arctic thanks to a Saudi businessman’s donation to build the region’s first mosque.
A Saudi businessman has donated 20 million Krone ($2.78 million) to build the first mosque in the Arctic region, near the northern part of Norway, according to a news report published by a local Saudi newspaper.
In April the Muslim association in the Arctic town of Inuvik, Canada raised $40,000 to purchase land for a mosque two degrees above the Arctic Circle that it hopes will serve the Northwest Territories’ 175 or so Muslims (according to a 2001 census).
Shams newspaper reported that the Saudi businessmen, who was not identified, donated the money to the Islamic Council of Norway, which represents about 70,000 of Norway’s estimated 130,000 Muslims, during a meeting in London with Sandra Mary Moo, a member of the Norwegian Muslim community.
Islam is the largest minority religion in Norway with more than two percent of Norway's 4.7 million residents identifying as Muslims, according to a 2007 Statistics Norway report. The government report registered 79,068 members of Islamic groups in Norway, mostly from immigrant backgrounds.
Talks between the Muslim community and the Northern Municipality of Norway are underway to secure land for the construction of the mosque in an area of 1000 square meters (about 11,000 square feet).
The mosque is expected to be the largest in the northern parts of Norway.

You may be right about Osama, but you got the rest of it wrong. Racist Arabs would object to their daughters marrying Somali men, but not vice versa, just as they like to demonstrate how 'tolerant' they are by having Mohammedan men marry infidel women, cleverly concealing the fact that such women are then considered conquered Islamized pieces of tilth. Similarly, Arab men can marry Paki, Bangla, Malay, Iranian or other women, but Arab women can't marry men of these nationalities, despite them being Mohammedan.
In UK, something even more interesting that I've read, in the context of forced marriages, is how Muslims & Muslimahs, who want to marry overriding their parents' wishes, go to the nearest Jihadis and get their support - and then become radicalized, since these Jihadis gave them more support than their kith and kin. Thereby, the victims, rather than being less Islamic, ironically end up as more Islamic, despite the fact that it was the Islamically inspired attitudes of their parents regarding their offspring as property that created that predicament in the first place. Only exceptions would be Muslimah-Infidel marriages.
What struck me about these Jihadis was their low self esteem - normally, with supremacist attitudes about conquering Chile to Japan, you'd think they'd demand that other non-Somali Muslimahs marry them, instead of pimping their daughters.
