Dhaka (AsiaNews) - Catholic women of the village of Dewtola can no longer go to mass because of continual threats from local Muslims. For the past several weeks tensions have been mounting around the parish of St. Francis Xavier in Golla, Nawabgonj district.
Michael Gomes, a local Catholic leader, tells AsiaNews that "defenceless women and children are being intimidated. Most of the men of the village have emigrated to Europe or moved to Dhaka to find work”.
The threats originate from disputes over the village market where many stalls are run by some of the more than 3 thousand 700 Christians living in the area. Muslim traders want to take possession of them and have already on several occasions tried to use force to expel the non Muslim owners.
Incidents like this arise from the sense of self-importance and entitlement fueled by Qur'anic diatribes against unbelievers (see, in particular: 3:110, 5:59-60, 98:6) and enshrined in the tenets of Sharia.
Already in 2006, for the same reason, a crowd of 200 people attacked the Catholic faithful as they were going to church and destroyed some of their stalls at the market. "Now the climate is back to being that of three years ago - says Gomes - we live in a situation of deep insecurity and despite having alerted the local authorities nothing has happened."
The story is further complicated by the private interest of local politicians. Gomes says that "the local union leader is linked to the Muslims and says that the market can not be the exclusive property of Christians”.
Islam: the religion made to order for thugs, bullies, thieves, rapists and murderers: in short, for anyone who finds pleasure in hurting, humiliating and generally doing harm to their fellow human beings.
John Quincy Adams summed up Mohammed's dubious achievement, thus:

Violence and lust - in this case, not sexual lust, but plain old greed, and envy - are written all over this most unedifying story from Bangladesh, about the behaviour of a bunch of Muslims, toward a community of Christians whom they perceive, clearly, as Designated Prey.
All in all. It is way past time for "turn the other cheek.". Now is the time to start shooting back.

It is the relgion of the violent, venal, and generally base. It is the creed of a murderous highway bandit writ large. It has the sanctity of a charnal house.
Wow these brave soldiers of Muhammad, they've certainly embraced one of his traits wholeheartedly, cowardice.
Yet Western Muslims try to tell us they're noble, peace loving and all embracing, yeah right.

Muslims do have problems with non Muslims owning property....it appears the Muslims are continuing centuries old tradition of removing the non Muslims from their land and replacing them with Muslims...The Muslims won't tolerate a peaceful co-existence. They never have and they never will..
And yet, with daily stories like this coming from Islamic countries, we continue to allow Islamic immigration into the west.
Is anyone in a political leadership position even aware of these stories and their implication for what the future may hold to our own countries if this immigration is allowed to continue?
Yet again we find Muslims acting in a hostile and belligerent manner toward helpless Christians. Imagine if the shoe had been on the other foot and Catholics were hindering Muslims from attending their mosque. What an uproar we'd here from both the Muslims and their dhimmi apologists. Of course, that would never likely happen. On the other hand, the oppression and persecution of Christians by Muslims is all too commonplace, yet Western governments and most Christian organisations care to do little to bring recognition of this perpetual problem. And to think that CAIR and other Muslim supremacist groups have the audacity to play victim and ask for special treatment in the West, while it is their co-religionists who wage a daily jihad against ancient Christian communities across the Middle East and South Asia.
It`s so upsetting to hear about the terrible atrocities muslims are committing against christians in different parts of the world now, things you never really hear about in the mainstream media or if something is said it`s watered down or stated as a clash between muslims and christians, never the fact that the muslims purposely attacked the christians for no reason.
The media just don`t tell it like it is.
They do exactly the same in distorting the facts about clashes in Israel. The real truth never seems to come out, which is why anti-semitism is so rife around the world.
We all know now where Barak Hussein Obama's allegiance lies.....
