Great moments in Associated Press headlines: "Restive youths burn cars in new suburban unrest"

Count the euphemisms! George Carlin himself -- who traced the progress of simple terms to long-winded, polysyllabic, politically correct substitutes -- would be impressed by that headline, from [1] this story.
"[2] Restive," of course, is an old favorite here at Jihad Watch, though it usually crops up in stories about Thailand or Mindanao.
"Youths": And suburban youths, to boot. No demographic information can be included, so we're left to assume the Wii turned into a "non," (mais non!), and there was nothing left to do for the weekend.
Coverage like this is symptomatic of the media's hands-off approach to the most pressing issues facing Europe for the foreseeable future. On the brighter side, sometimes it's ripe for parody.
