My ninth and newest book, The Complete Infidel's Guide to the Koran, will be out September 21 from Regnery Publishing.
Here are some advance reviews of the new book:
"Robert Spencer incarnates intellectual courage when, all over the world, governments, intellectuals, churches, universities and media crawl under a hegemonic Universal Caliphate‘s New Order. His achievement in the battle for the survival of free speech and dignity of man will remain as a fundamental monument to the love of, and the self-sacrifice for, liberty. In our epoch of intellectual jihadism, this honest book is essential to understand the challenges of the twenty-first century.” — Bat Ye'or, author of Eurabia; The Decline of Eastern Christianity Under Islam; and Islam and Dhimmitude
"Unlike most of today’s self-styled experts, Robert Spencer won’t tell you that ‘slay the idolaters wherever you find them’ really means ‘love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.’ In The Complete Infidel’s Guide to the Koran, Spencer shows once again that he is America’s most informed, fearless, and compelling voice on modern jihadism, insisting that we come to grips with the words behind the ideology that fuels international terror.” — Andrew C. McCarthy, senior fellow at the National Review Institute and author of Willful Blindness: A Memoir of the Jihad.
"Meticulous, comprehensive, indispensable. ‘I read the Koran so you don’t have to,’ Spencer writes—but even for those of us who have read the Koran, this is a richly illuminating work.” — Bruce Bawer, author of Surrender: Appeasing Islam, Sacrificing Freedom and While Europe Slept.
More coming!

Mazel tov! -- as we spiritual Semites say.
I would be willing to contribute to a fund to buy enough copies to send to every member of congress, the cabinet, and the President and VP.
Now, if we could just find a way to insure that they read it...
GMcCal, if I want to get my hubby to read anything, I put it in the bathroom.
Robert, will Amazon.co.uk carry your book?

I can't wait to add it to my collect (which already contains your first eight books). The only thing I am wondering if it is a compilation of your "Blogging the Qur'an" series.
I am going to pre-order at B&N this weekend. I may get one for my library too, the public one that is.
Swords, bombs, four wives and crossed out pigs. You've done quite a job in presenting many Islamic stereotypes on one short page, I wonder what kind of wonders this tome, written by the august scholar will have for us.
SenatorTombstone:
No, it is not that at all. The book is arranged thematically, not chapter by chapter, and contains a great deal of material that was never in the "Blogging the Qur'an" series.

DustanH:
So "swords, bombs, four wives and crossed out pigs" are "Islamic stereotypes," eh?
Thanks for enlightening me. You might also wish to contact the government of Saudi Arabia and get them to take that sword off their flag, the one under the shehada. It might perpetuate stereotypes.
You'll have a bigger job stamping out those stereotypes about Islam allowing polygamy and forbidding pork. After all, you'll have to get Muslims to agree to change the Koran itself. But I am sure they will be happy to oblige, in the interests of eradicating stereotypes.
And as for the bombs, for that you'll have to contact the jihadist organizations that perpetrate acts of violence and justify them by reference to Islamic texts and teachings. For their names, continue to watch this site.
Once again, thanks for your help.
