"Hizbul Mujahideen" -- that is, Party of Jihadists. But of course the learned analysts know that their Islamic allegiance can be entirely discounted, as it is of no importance in revealing how jihad terrorists are recruited and motivated to kill Infidels.

NEW DELHI: The two suspected Hizbul Mujahideen militants arrested in the Walled City on Thursday night had been sent to India by the outfit’s supreme commander, Syed Salahuddin, on an “important” assignment.They were remanded to 10-day police custody by a court here on Friday.
The police are trying to ascertain whether Javed Ahmad Tantray and Ashiq Ali Butt had been sent to carry out a strike in the run-up to the Independence Day celebrations here on August 15.
Their interrogation so far revealed that Salahuddin and his deputy, Khalid Saifullah, met them separately at training camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir seven months ago and asked them to remain prepared for an important assignment. A fortnight later, another militant Shahid told them to sneak into India through Nepal. He also procured passports and visas for them....

Why not? These Jihadis appeared to be casing New Delhi for an attack--India's seat of government. How similar is this to the 9/11 attacks, where the American seat of government--Washington, DC--and New York City, America's financial and cultural capital--were hit simultaneously?
Mumbai, in just the same way, is India's financial and cultural capital, which were targeted in last November's savage Jihad attacks. If they have their way, it will be New Delhi's turn next. India may find a direct attack on their government even more disabling than an attack on her financial center.

But to be honest even by thwarting this Indian leadership are too scared to take any concrete action against the extremist organization and jihadis hiding in Kashmir and also in other parts of India because government thinks that its could stir an insanitary storm and religious tension.
Sad to say we haven't learn anything from Mumbai massacre.
Like only two days ago Indian law commission says "Bigamy against true Islamic law" {http://ekawaaz.org/2009/08/07/bigamy-true-islamic... but stopped short of recommending a change in the Muslim law as it feared this could stir an unhealthy controversy. unfortunately in India its all talk and talk and no walk...

Mumbai was an eye opener for the Indian government. It's good to see that they're making sure that there are no repeats of the Mumbai episode. If "We the People" had done this after 9/11 CAIR would have raised a stink and the politians would have sold out "We the People" like they always do. I'm glad that the Indian people are doing all that they can to protect themselves in the wake of the Mumbai incident. Their government have shown that they grew a pair and let them drop. Good for the Indian people, bad for the would be jihadists.
