Washington -- International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that Somali Islamic extremists beheaded four Christians after kidnapping them on July 27 in the coastal town of Merca, 56 miles from Mogadishu.Fatima Sultan, Ali Ma'ow, Sheik Mohammed Abdi, and Maaddey Diil were killed by members of Al-Shabab, an Islamic extremist organization. The Islamists kidnapped and eventually beheaded the Christians after they refused to renounce their faith in Jesus Christ.
On August 4, a junior Al-Shabab militant notified all the families of the victims that the four Christians had been beheaded for apostasy. He described the Christians as promoters of "fitna," a Muslim term for religious discord. The militant, who called himself "Seiful Islam" ("the Sword of Islam"), told the families that the bodies will not be given to them "as Somalia does not have cemeteries for infidels."

The main body of their statement will be dedicated to such statements as ”Islam is a religion of peace”; ”extremists that have nothing in common with the immense majority of Muslims” and other stupid comments made to not infuriate that ”immense majority of Muslims” that could in turn peacefully put fire to churches and stone the Embassies of Western Countries.
Sometimes I wonder if we, Christians, have lost the ability to infuriate and if this is really a good thing.

Once again the reportage is focused on Kenyan and Canadian authorities exercising due diligence, so characteristic of the Brave New World we live in.
But not a peep is mentioned regarding this outrage in Somalia, which is of a kind now infiltrating into the West.
Which is why the security precautions --the ones that the Somali-Canadian woman ran afoul of-- are needed in the first place.

This kind of atrocity should be front-page news, should be a "teaching moment" in our schools and universities, and should be on the lips of our politicians and cultural gate-keepers.
We should be attempting to shame Muslims into not only a repudiation of such behavior, but into some corresponding introspection regarding from where it emanates. To do so would be planting the seeds of future cases of apostasy.

First point to observe. In the USA, in Germany, in Canada, in Australia, the UK, people who from non-Muslim backgrounds convert to Islam, are found up to their necks in weaponry, explosives, and plots to mass murder their former fellow-citizens and attack and overthrow the governments.
Meanwhile: these four who converted from Islam to Christianity...what are they doing? Working in an orphanage. Another Somali who converted from Islam to Christianity, went back to Somalia to share the education he'd gained in the UK, by working as a schoolteacher.
Muslim converts to Christianity...heal, teach, care for people.
Kafir converts to Islam...become jihad mass-murder plotters.
Second observation: Somali culture is a 'warrior' culture, very aggressive and persistent, to judge from my reading of Hirsi Ali's 'Infidel'. So: when Somalis become Christians, and are faced with a fellow Somali waving a scimitar and saying, 'renounce Christ, or else!', what happens? The Somali Christian, brave as a lion, digs in his or her toes and says NO!!! And one woman and three men all die rather than go back into the spiritual slavery that is Islam. This is what happens when basic Somali 'stuff' is transmuted into pure shining gold by Christ. These people were *real* spiritual warriors.

And let all jihadwatchers who are Christians, if you are Anglican, Catholic or Orthodox, on All Saints' Day, and on All Souls' Day, this year, make sure that they are named in honour, and candles lit in their memory.
And pray, pray, pray for the Church in Somalia. Pray for the apostasy not of lone individuals, but of whole family groups and clans; particularly, pray that brothers, or male cousins, and heads of clans and households, may miraculously turn from Islam. Because if that happens, they stand a chance of being able to survive and defend and protect each other. And perhaps the Christians in Somalia need to find out about the fighting Orders of the medieval church, such as the Knights Hospitallers of St John, and about the ideals of Chivalry!
The best way to honour the memory of these Somali Christian Martyrs? - make a donation to Father Botros' 'Life TV' and to other radio or satellite TV programs that pour the truth day and night, in the mother tongues, into the lands of Islam.

'It is important to remember that islam is an extremely intrusive religion and regulates every thing in the lives of its followers. Even to the extent that some type of lies are allowed while others are not.
'For example, it is permissible to lie to a non-muslim.
'This means that we cannot rely on any information that a muslim gives us about islam. It is permissible to lie to an enemy. Numerous times when peace treaties have been made and signed, muslim rulers broke them without a thought.
'We can only be sure of one thing, muslims can be relied upon to be treacherous and deceitful all the time. It is also permitted to lie to a woman.
'I hope that women outside of islam do not fall for musim men and marry them.
'I have seen too many cases where there was forced conversion to islam and the women were in a very weak position to do anything about it.'
