I seem to notice a little fishhook in many Islamist pronouncements that catches, and it is usually ominous.

Their "struggles as a minority."

Not their "struggle" or Jihad to slowly but inexorably remove all barriers to the spread, and then the dominance, of Islam. Just those "struggles as a minority."

And the opportunity to "bring more attention to Muslims" in order to convert more non-Muslims, as a way of swelling Muslim ranks, signing up -- among the psychically and economically marginal IUnfidels -- still more recruits to the Army of Islam.

An "opportunity" was provided these Muslims by the rounding-up of yet one more group of Muslims who, headed by a convert (and converts so often take the teachings and texts deeply to heart), were hell-bent on murder and mayhem among the Infidels.

Minority?! ...let me guess...you are of the opinion that Muslims are a race, right? Wrong! Big surprise, another Muslim using the race card. Belonging to a religious organization, and in your case, an organized religious crime syndicate, is not a foundation by which a race is established.

It's not really chutzpah at all, given that this reflects standard operating procedure on the part of the entire West since 9/11: every time Muslims explode, Westerners have for the most part become more solicitous of the sensibilities and rights of Muslims, not less; more "respectful" of Islam, not less; been busy whitewashing and exculpating Islam more, not less. In this overwhelming, pervasive, mainstream context throughout the West, a Muslim such as Imran Aukhil in the West would be a fool not to thus take advantage of it. People I know blow off this childish whining for what it is, spoiled, immature, arrogant, selfish people who do not and will not accept responsibility for their behavior, attitude, and over all lot in life.

Their despise for our country culture and people may be under BO's radar, but it sure is in the average American's face.

I don't know of anyone, even the liberal lefties I know, who would actually give anything that dude says any credibility. After all it is the same old shit we've been hearing since 9-11...blah blah blah.
