Actually, I am in England, having arrived this morning via transatlantic kayak from Jihad Watch headquarters in Secure Undisclosed Locationville. I'll be working this week on a documentary about the Islamization of the U.K. and Europe with the Christian Action Network, producers of the documentary Homegrown Jihad.
I'll be posting as much as time permits, and will try to work in a few observations about the local scene.

It's nice to see Robert working with the CAN. I think their first film, Homegrown Jihad, was very important and I have been anticipating their next project. I'm happy to see Robert will be contributing.
After making a "donation" to CAN to order their first film, I've been getting mailings from Martin Mawyer. I've been sending a few bucks now and then to help with the legal battles CAN is facing in Maine. I'll take this post as an endorsement by Robert of what CAN is doing.
Unfortunately I've also been getting solicitations from every Bible/Torah thumping beggar that can lick a stamp. CAN surely sells or shares their mailing lists with other religious groups. I support CAN wholeheartedly, but the onslaught of solicitations that results from that support is unwelcome. Be warned.

I think Robert hasn't been banned like Geert Wilders because there is a difference in their profiles - Geert Wilders was specifically invited to speak at the House of Lords and show his Fitna film, and as the Lords is now almost as infested by muslims as the Commons (thanks to the almost total abolition of hereditary peers in favour of the Labour Party's handing out honourary peerages like sweeties to their friends, i.e. muslims, rabid lefties and...erm...Peter Mandelson...), they were able to fight him on their own terms as a politician. (Even though there's a world of difference in how he and they do politics - he actually earned his place by passionately pursuing what he believes in, whereas the majority of the current Lords have done nothing to warrant their position but give big cash donations to the ruling party).
Robert on the other hand is a scholar and perhaps not *quite* as well known and controversial as Wilders is here, so maybe they just haven't picked up on him yet. Not least because he hasn't publicised where he's actually going to be, so the rampant hoards can't go baying (or should that be braying?) for his blood in public.

A few thoughts.
As you will have seen, we Aussies win some, we lose some: slimy Keysar Trad got demolished in court by a non-dhimmi judge; we caught a batch of Somali Muslim and Lebanese jihad plotters; Camden Council blocked the building of an Islamic Cult Indoctrination Centre [i.e. 'Islamic School'], but another Council let one through. And like the UK, we're still burning men and money in Afghanistan.
Seems that some people who could use Typepad couldn't use IntenseDebate - and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the new folks who joined us during our sojourn on IntenseDebate's bug-infested premises, are now having difficulties with Typepad. That just seems to be the way the internets works.

I am in regular communication with one 'Esmerelda Weatherwax' , who used to post here a lot once upon a time as 'Grannie Weatherwax', and who helps Hugh Fitzgerald and others keep the 'New English Review' blog going...I send her news stories from Australia and from other places, and sometimes I make remarks in the comments at 'New English Review'. Do you read there? It's very different from here. I enjoy it.
I'm feeling pleased with myself because a fellow-parishioner of mine works directly for someone in high office...and I was able to give this fellow-parishioner a copy of the simple point-by-point comparison of sharia law with English law, that was recently given to members of the House of Lords, in connection with a Question asked by Lord Malcolm Pearson, Earl of Rannoch. I will be curious to see how she reacts, once she's read it. If she 'gets' it, then she's in a position to inform others, at a high level of the civil service and government.

I know a bit of the in's and out's of politics from my work with various MEP's over the years and know how the mechanics of government work and how slow the wheels of justice turn.
I came from the the so called "left" although I was always a maverick musician and became disillusioned with the mindset of the labour movement way before they got into power.
I gathered from your post's that you weren't the average armchair general and some of your post's have been perfectly, historically and politically neutral.
The facts are scary to most people.

There are two ways we can achieve a line of communication that bypasses this forum and can be used for conversations that we do not wish the lurking Mohammedtrolls, aka boggarts and dementors, to overhear.
Both of us could email Mr Spencer or Marisol, to say that I (dumbledoresarmy) have given you (ovinesongs) permission to be sent my email address, and vice versa.
We could each also email Esmerelda Weatherwax with the same message.
In both cases they have each heard from us (the real us) on numerous occasions, so someone who tried to pretend to be us, wouldn't be able to pull it off, I suspect.
If you are agreeable, I will undertake to send emails to that effect, to Marisol and to Esmerelda, within the next couple of days.
