I'd really like to know why the BNP is termed "racist" here, when I hear so many Brits waiting and willing to vote for them.

First of all, are they really "racist"? And if so, does it really matter?

Look at it this way. People crow and croon when an ethnic group indigenous to a country/region get autonomy. It's OK for there to be "black" countries, "Asian" countries (full of this or that breed of Asian) and so on, but the idea of a "white" country is somehow racist and and beyond the pale.

Is the ANC any less racist than the whites who previously ran South Africa, or are they OK because they favour the blacks instead? And what about Oprah going to Africa to build schools specifically for blacks, and saying "To hell with the whites, i'm not here for them"? Not a peepish sound was made, but if someone said "to hell with the blacks", well, their career would be over.

I think a European country has every right to be "racist" - if Europe can't be considered a "white" homeland, then we're totally lost as a people. The multiculti madness will simply continue until Europeans are swamped and lose their genetic as well as cultural heritage through demographic swamping.

Of course, it doesn't mean that other people can't live there, just as Americans and Europeans often move to Japan (but in small and limited numbers), just that it should be accepted that if someone from another culture does want to live in a new culture, the newcomer must recognize and assimilate to the native culture - even if it is "white".

No doubt if the British Lion Sir Winston Churchill appeared today and espoused his knowledge of Islam as so aptly expressed in his book "The River Wars" he would most likely be spirited away and treated in the same way Geert Wilders is.

Britain has lost its way and apparently can find no British value,culture,or character worth defending against the aggressive totalitarian religion that makes up Islam.

The House of Lords may one day become The House of Allah if they continue to appease Muslims and denounce any leader who espouses to be a lion among the dhimmibrits.

Defending ones values,and culture has nothing to do with race.

One astute observer pointed out, some 25 or 30 years ago, that virtually every sub-Saharan country was ruled by a dominant tribe, and in South Africa, that tribe happened to be white.

It is appalling what is happening in Britain. I have many wonderful British friends who are also appalled, but don't know where to turn. The British leadership is clueless.

In present-day Britain, had any of those hostile invaders done any bodily harm to you or Jason Campbell, they probably would only have been fined for "hate speech" and not criminally charged at all. After all, punishing them would have endangered "community harmony/cohesion", wouldn't it?

One would be hard pressed to find a more despicable statement. It is treasonous against Britain and all Western countries. I think you got it wrong Robert. You visited LONDON, aka Londonistan (courtesy Melanie Philips), where almost a majority of the population is immigrant and likely Muslim.

It is probably similar in Birmingham (Green Lane Mosque), Leicester, Luton, Bradford, parts of Manchester and Lancashire. They are ALL Muslim strongholds. That doesn't apply much elsewhere and the Brits ARE waking up whether or not you believe that they support the "racist" BNP.
People may not vote for the BNP - particularly because of their otherwise far left agenda and general lack of clear policy - but they DO recognise the rightness of standing up for the indigenous population as the BNP propose. THAT aim is seriously being embraced by educated middle-class people as well as the rest of the indigenous population.
I predict that it will all kick off very soon - indeed it has already started in Bradford and Birmingham and I also predict that it will be the UK and not France or the Netherlands or Denmark which starts the move against Islam. Some very innocent Muslims will sadly be affected. Much as in any conflict - Muslims,Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and so on.
The TRULY innocent always suffer.

From the years 2002 to 2008, England had a popular television drama about British intelligence service MI-5, titled MI-5 (or alternately, Spooks). The whole point of the show was to have weekly dramatic stories about MI-5 solving and fighting terrorism.

The very first episode aired in May of 2002, so one would assume it was written, if not also directed, at a time sufficiently long after 9/11 for the writers and directors to have digested the terrorist attack on New York City over 7 months prior to the date of airing. And what kind of terrorism did that first episode of this new gritty, tough, realistic show about terrorism depict? Muslims? Heavens, no! The terrorists of that first episode were anti-abortionists, of course!

I have slowly but surely been renting all the episodes of the show. I am at this stage almost done with season 3 (two more episodes to go). The first season had 6 episodes, all subsequent episodes had 10. So far, of the 24 episodes I have watched, only 3 deal with actual Muslim terrorists. That means that so far, approximately 13% of the terrorism depicted on the show is Islamic. It's supposed to be a gritty realistic drama about this pressing issue of the day. Since when has terrorism been only 13% Islamic? The actual percentage of terrorism in the real world is rather the reverse of that. It's more accurate to say that 13% of terrorism around the world is non-Islamic -- and even that would be a generous estimate: it's probably far lower than that.

The other 21 episodes imaginatively reach and twist and turn to find all manner and flavor of terrorism non-Islamic:

the IRA of course, the dependable staple of the anti-terrorist drama of TV and movies;

Armenian terrorists (who one assumes must be Christians but the whole thing is contextualized in terms purely of political grievances);

white racist terrorists;

Russian terrorists;

a rogue CIA assassin;

Colombian drug cartel getting active in international terrorism;

a disgruntled British Army officer who takes an army base hostage;

Serbs in league with North Koreans;

a rogue French businessman in league with the Chinese...

Meanwhile, two of them deal with falsely assumed Muslim terrorists, and one deals with Jewish terrorists allied with neo-cons! (Funny how these kinds of shows and movies -- and I have seen many different ones over the years aside from MI-5 -- never deal with a falsely assumed non-Islamic terrorism that later turns out to be Islamic...)

Of the 3 that have dealt with Muslim terrorists, they are padded with ways to deflect or soften the Islamic aspect:

One involves a Muslim who goes undercover in a mosque to help MI-5 and in his mouth, as well as in the mouth of a "moderate" cleric, the viewers get a few obligatory lectures written into the dialogue about how "true Islam" is utterly different than what the terrorist imam is advocating. Funny, the show didn't seem to find it necessary at all to insert lectures about how most Russians are not bad people when they had a show about Russian terrorists -- ditto for anti-abortionists, Armenians, Chinese, Koreans, etc.

Another involves a young white grad student who apparently has converted to Islam and joined an Islamic terrorist cell -- but there is nothing in his dialogue remotely Islamic: the only thing he says when articulating his goals is that he wants to further "the Revolution". Also, only his face is shown -- his cohorts when they do appear briefly at the end are all completely masked and shown in the darkness of night.

The third episode involves one of the MI-5 team assigned to guard a pleasant middle-aged Muslim Pakistani bookseller who has become the target of Muslim assassins ("extremists", of course). MI-5 doesn't know why this nice peaceful Pakistani is a target. While guarding him round the clock, "Danny" (the black MI-5 agent) begins to develop a warm friendship with the Pakistani and they both have a bond in their love of cricket. Danny even arranges to drive the Pakistani to a major cricket field in London. Near the end of the show, MI-5 learns that this pleasant harmless Pakistani bookseller in fact is an engineer and for years he had directly assisted a terrorist group in Pakistan which has mass-murdered countless innocent people over the years. Indeed, that terrorist group is the one trying to kill him now, because he had become a double agent to help MI-6 (another branch of intelligence). When he does get shot on Danny's watch, Danny is torn up with grief about losing such a nice friend -- a nice friend who was directly responsible for the murders of countless innocent people. That untidy detail is deftly padded and softened by the writing and direction. Instead, the ugliness is transferred onto British intelligence for cynically having used the terrorist Pakistani bookseller, and then of making a deal with the terrorist group that wants him dead by allowing them to kill him in exchange for cooperation with MI-6 in other matters.

I learn from IMDB (the Internet Movie Database) that season 4 was written and directed before the London bombings on 7/7/05, so I will have to wait until I get around to season 5 to see how the show's writers and directors deal with Muslim terrorism in the wake of a very real, horrible, and undeniably Islamic terrorism right there in the heart of London. I predict that they will follow the usual perverse logic of PC MC: rather than shows signs of increased awareness, concern and knowledge of the threat of Muslims, they will actually regress to a state of further denial and bending-over-backwards "respect" for Muslims bolstered by anxious ways to make sure Islam and most Muslims are disassociated from the "tiny minority of extremists" who happen to be Muslims too.

While ZaNu Labour is the most trecherous party in our history, there is no reason to suppose that "call me Dave" Cameron's conservative party or the Lib Dems are any better as regards the demographic destruction of the natives or the islamificaion of the UK.

Unforunately, the British political hierarchy is in the grip of common purpose marxists who are deermined, along wih their counerpars in Europe, to destroy every sovereign nation state in Europe.

I live very happily in London and have nothing to do with Muslims - it's a fantastic place to live.

A shame that some very good points in a good piece are marred by the usual extrapolation to a whole country from a highly selective set of encounters.

It is as if I were to go to Dearborn, or those training camps previously reported on and to write "America succumbs etc..."

People are waiting for next year's general election. That's not to say that Dhimmi Dave's government will be any better, but when it's not, people will start to act and speak up.

I am a proud, patriotic Englishman and Brit (in that order).

But I despair at what my country is becoming, this washed out state of pure apathy. We appear to the rest of the world to actually welcome this Islamic invasion.

Nothing is, in actuality further from the truth but I understand how people may get that impression.

We have been mismanaged so badly over the last 12 or so years by a government that is truly poisoned by 'political correctness'. In fact the general populace has been poisoned and demoralised by it, we are told that our flag is racist, Christmas is offensive to minorities and a whole host of unspeakable offences like this have been committed against the British people, in particular the English over the years.
John Prescott (a lardarse waste of space politician for our friends in the US) is on record as saying England does not exist, it is merely a collection of regions - I was so enraged by that particular comment I am glad I was nowhere near him at the time.

These things repeatedly thrust down our throats over time will demoralise any nation to the point of apathy and I fear the old bulldog spirit is being drained out of us as a nation.

They will not succeed though, the politicians have gone too far, I am of the opinion that they are actually committing treason against their country and their people. Labour WILL NOT be voted in again which is why they are holding off the election as long as possible. I don't actually think that the Conservatives will be much better but they are at least not as far left as Labour.

We are getting to a point now that we are sick to death of the situation as it is, a once strong and proud nation, now a doormat for the left to wipe its treacherous feet. The government is so far out of touch with the people you'd think they were busy ruining a whole other country, if we were given a referendum regarding the release of this Lockerbie woman and child murderer by the Scottish government, do you actually think he would be free now? NO CHANCE IN HELL.

If we were given a referendum on these matters, there would be an immediate halt on muslim immigration, illegals would be expelled, as would those without citizenship that preach hatred. The scum that abused our boys on their return from Afghanistan would have been arrested on the spot, treason would be punished by death (as is still legally possible). We would strip any offending elements of their recently acquired passports and prosecute any that were born here for treason as above. Shariah courts would be disbanded and the law of the land would be applied equally to Brits and Muslims alike and any other concessions made to these people would be reversed.

@CriticalEndgame - the BNP's policies state that the only forced repatriation will be of fake asylum seekers, illegal, criminal and dissident immigrants. Of the others who are recently immigrated, those who want to stay and integrate can, those who wish to return to their homelands will be offered financial help.

So we will still have our manageable, peaceful ethnic minorities.

Not one other political party is addressing the Islam problem other than the BNP, so I WILL be voting for them. Their history may be chequered, but so was the history of other political parties.

People in foxholes have little choice but to stick with those who are pointing their guns in the right direction.

I am encouraged by the fact that SOME Brits are finally pissed off at islam's tactics. Please pester and pressure your lawmakers to amend the welfare or social assistance acts so that the likes of Anjem Chowdhary cannot sponge off the taxpayer. After hearing the comments by the British posters here, I can only hope that real change comes to Britain, but I must confess that I have my doubts when I consider the whole situation according to the information that I get. The fact is that the present state of Britain,just as in America has been brought about by the people through their elections. It appears that the majority of the electorate has cast aside God and Country in favor of greed and ignorant bliss. I hope this will change before it's too late for either country, but Britain appears to be farther down the road to slavery at this point.

Robert is entirely right on this one there are myriad always the government can ruin your life and career in Britain. This particularly applies to the BNP and its members.

You could look at the Libertarian Alliance website. Among other things they have outlined how the government ensures that the only people who can join the BNP without fear are from the lower end of society. Working people with limited education and little to lose.

A typical example would be the driver of a Council bus for disabled children who was dismissed when it was found he was a BNP member. It was explained that he was not fired because he belonged to the BNP that would have been an infringement of his freedom. He was fired because as a member of the BNP he could not deal with minorities fairly and was therefore unable to perform his duties properly. The suggestion must be that he would treat disabled children differently according to their race. There was never any evidence he had done so - but you cannot be too careful.

There is an old English saying "There is more than one way to skin a cat" and the Nu Labour Government employs people who know them all.

The BNP has many good ideas and its wish to cherish and preserve the British heritage, a very great one I might add, is to be applauded, but that requirement of the BNP that one must be white to join is an albatross around its neck. One knows this or should know it. What counts are things like ideas, tradition and heritage, not race. And, of course, Islam has nothing to do with race but everything to do with ideas, and very bad ideas at that. So being anti-Islamic has nothing to do with racism but requiring someone to be of a particular race to join a political party will prove to be more trouble than its worth and will actually water down any effectiveness such a party might otherwise have.

A black British citizen who is a devout Christian, a good family man, who cherishes British civilization, is a deep admirer of Winston Churchill and who is acutely aware that Islam is possessed of theological pathologies that no other religion is would be denied membership in the BNP simply because of his race. This is wrong on its face. And even if there were only one black Brit who would fit this description (or even none) the principle would still be paramount and controlling.

There are some givens out there for which most people blithely feel no need to offer proof: e.g. -- that the BNP are bad racists; that the Spanish Inquisition was wrong; that the internment of Japanese-Americans was wrong; that Robert Spencer is an Islamophobe... and so forth.

I absolutely agree with most posts here, in fact most posts on the blog, including the ones that appear very anti-Britain. I take those as meaning anti-British GOVERNMENT policy, in which case I tend to agree wholeheaterdly.

Please, for god's sake don't confuse government with people. In many cases and this one especially, they are not one and the same.

I understand the US posters that say that the British passport can no longer be trusted to be carried by a friend, this is very true. However, muzzies currently account for 2.7% of the UK population, so AT THE VERY LEAST 97.3% of British passport holders are friendly to the USA. This should still account for something, we do tend to bleed and die alongside you too. Admittedly in smaller numbers, but we are a far smaller country.

We need to improve our security? I don't think any Brit will disagree with you there, but then again, it's a GOVERNMENT issue not the people.

Moving on, sadly Wellington is perfectly correct, the BNP is a racist party plain and simple. That is my major gripe with it. I know bloody well that we need a similar party for our cultural existence and freedom but it needs to grow up if it's going to be any use at all, otherwise it is a waste of votes.

If it changed its stance on having to be white, if Nick Griffin publicly withdrew his holocaust denial statement with a public and complete apology to Jews (who are allies here, don't forget) and focussed purely on defending Britain from an ACTUAL rather than imagined threat they may become respectable enough to be electable. Or at least powerful enough to give a massive kick in the arse to the party that is in power to get it moving on some pretty f*cking critical issues.

One thing we all seem to forget here is that we are all politically right of centre, the populace of most western countries are leaning to the left. We spend hours preaching to the converted, everyone here has the same view.

Do we get out there spreading our knowledge of what is happening and what is coming to the ignorant masses? I have already lost two (I thought were good) friends over this, I am not mourning the loss and I am sure I am going to lose more but that isn't the point.

We need a forum at the least for a start, we need to organise our nations and organise with people across 'ponds'. We need to formulate strategies and pass on what is working and what isn't. We need to organise GLOBALLY as ALLIES, no matter if we are Brits, Europeans, Americans, Aussies, Indians or anyone else that want's to remain free.

It's all well and good slagging each other off on myriad blogs, spreading what's happening on the Jihad front and who is further down the slippy slope to dhimmitude hell than the other. The fact is that if we keep doing this we will one by one fall. The enemy is united globally, if the resistance is going to stand a chance we have to ditch 'Yank', 'Brit', 'Kraut' whatever and become a united force against a common enemy.

Right now they are playing the divide and conquer scenario with devastating effectiveness, on top of their already effective "third jihad".

It's our choice guys, we can bicker, snooze and lose our grandchildrens freedom for them, or we can UNITE and FIGHT.

I must agree with wellington that the BNP whites only policy is an albatross around its neck because even the MSM admitted it it has got some support from assimilated blacks. It also has support from Sikhs and Hindus but this has to be covert because the "liberal" MSM targets them even more than regular BNP members.

However there was a case about 2/3 years ago when the "anti-fascists" tried to force the BNP to have an "Asian" join and openly said the intention was to flood it with new members and take it over. Given that the BNP is regularly infiltrated by investigative reporters and the government subsidised Union Against Fascists buses people all over the country to disrupt their meetings, one would have thought they had enough problems already.

A little OT but the current case being brought by the "Equality & Human Rights Commission" - a wonderfully Orwellian title - is being gloated over by the left because if nothing else it will financially wreck the BNP before next years General Election.

It's old and I do agree with a lot MrsJ said above.

I support the BNP right now, and will vote for them as they are but I think, as I have said in other posts that they would be able to serve us better if they altered their policies a bit.

Firstly, Mr Griffin would do well by formally withdrawing his holocaust denial and issuing an apology. I am aware that he now (grudgingly) acknowledges it happened, all I am saying is that the party needs to alter and to try and change its public image if it is going to be electable and therefore, useful to us.
