A new report commissioned by the International Atomic Energy Agency says that Iran's nuclear energy program may contain "military dimensions."In other words, the report states that Iran may be working towards acquiring a nuclear weapons capability. The report was issued just prior to the annual meeting of IAEA member states which is scheduled to convene next month in Vienna.
The report alleges that Iran is refusing the agency's repeated requests for explanations and documentation over its past nuclear activities. Tehran's non-compliance has raised suspicions that it is aiming to attain nuclear weapons.
It has become evident that Iran has confirmed, albeit implicitly, that it carried out experiments in order to test the process known as "detonation," a key stage in the development of nuclear weapons.
In addition, it refused to comment on other activities related to its nuclear program, including "weaponization," one of the final phases in manufacturing nuclear weapons in which fissionable material is installed into the bomb....

This is nothing new. Iran has been dodging these types of requests for years, and they don't want to be accountable to anyone. Aren't these suspicions coming a bit late?
The IAEA mission is misunderstood by most. Let's see. Apparently it is the function of this organization to let things progress beyond the point of repair, all the while denying anything of serious concern is going on, only to suddenly admit there is a problem. They do it all the time.

Although it's nice of them to belatedly acknowledge this bit of common knowledge, it would have been better if the West had forced the issue much earlier of the likely weaponization of nuclear material by Iran once they had the capability. There are those here who know the score, so one wonders what the game is on this side that prevents them from raising hell about this.

The seriousness of the current situation cannot be underestimated with our present government (if you can call it that) not understanding the Iranian, Muslim, and Israeli situation. However, I have faith in the American people, Israel, and the enduring character of our military fighting men and women. In spite of all the weasels in Washington, our country will find its way and prevail.
It is nice that the article states what anyone with half a Brain already knows.
When these "inspectors" are not allowed into Iran to actually inspect the program will tell us the Kitchen timer has been set and is ticking away to Suppers Ready.
