KABUL, Afghanistan (CNN) -- Making good on a threat of election day violence, the Taliban sliced off the index fingers of at least two people in Kandahar province, according to a vote monitoring group.
After they cast their ballots, the fingers of Afghan voters are stained with ink to prevent them from voting multiple times. The fingers of the two women in Kandahar, a stronghold of the Taliban, were cut off because they voted, said Nader Naderi of the Free and Fair Election Foundation.
The Taliban had vowed to disrupt Thursday's election and the risk was too great for some Afghans to venture out, especially in the southern provinces that form the heartland of the radical Islamist group....

Where is Hillary? She is simply proud that Afghans are standing up to Christians. Since the Taliban has removed all presence of anything but islam, she and Obama see a US Victory!
Also, with millions of Saudi money at stake for Hillary and Bill, we all now know that Hillary's stance for women' rights was the biggest line of bullshit since Bush 1st said "No new taxes".
How about since her husband said " I did not have sex with that woman . . ." ?

Given the chance, the Talithugs would cut off the fingers of ALL women, and more. They must sit around scouring their unholy scriptures looking for reasons and ways to justify their evil barbaric acts and hatred for wowen. Women are life givers, so of course they hate women, as do all good Mohammedans. There is no life or love in Islam. Zilch. To hell with Islam and those who practice it.

When I first saw the purple stained fingers in Iraq a few years ago, it scared me for this very reason. I haven't heard of any attacks on voters there, but it always seemed hazardous to me, that in a place where many consider voting to be "un-Islamic", that voters would have to walk around with an indelible mark until it faded.
What barbarians! It in no surprises me that the targeted victims were women who had the temerity to cast their ballots.

I don't have to hear what Obama will think of this finger-lopping. What he says, though, cannot be governed entirely by his opinions. In dealing with international situations, especially where OIL is concerned, he may have to bite his tongue. I don't fault him for having to do that, if he does.
Why do you suppose he's so dead-set on making America free of dependence on oil from countries that hate us? Not only does he want US freed of that dependence, but he wants the whole world freed of it, too. Then we'll all be free to tell the Islamic world precisely what we think of them.
Bush was the most ignorant president, ever. To him, Islam was "just another religion," and he applied the values of HIS religion on Islam. Which Islam does NOT share.
Obama is a scholar. It would startle me to hear that he had NOT studied Islam, and in depth. So he would certainly know how vile and dangerous it is to the people of the world. Even if we are too stupid and ignorant to see those things for ourselves. We don't WANT to see them, either; they are too scary. So the "political correctness" still dominates us all, that Islam is "a great global religion of peace and tolerance," even when we can see for ourselves that it is anything but.
Even the so-called "Moderate Muslims" (which is a contradiction in terms) still hate Jews and ALL infidels. It's required. Islam does not allow the least bit of "wiggle room" for moderation of any kind.
Islam is almost pathological in its hatred of women. If you'd done your OWN homework on Islam (reading THEIR scriptures, Quran and Hadith, cover to cover), you'd find that conclusion inescapable.
The Muslims in the free world will find their own ways to avoid condemning these Taliban finger-loppers. Another Muslim can never be condemned by a Muslim to any infidel, no matter what - it is one of Islam's strongest mandates. They may disagree with these amputations, but agree (without saying it) that it was the right of the Taliban to do them. Especially to women. Any Muslim who does condemn them is either not truly a Muslim, or is lying. Lying to infidels is mandated by Islam, so that makes it okay.
I know what they mean by "moderate Taliban," even if some here don't - they're people who do NOT want to be Taliban, but have no way to support their families. That means they're not truly Taliban, and perhaps they can be subtracted by helping them find other ways to earn a living. Not all Muslims approve of Taliban or other militant groups, but they all regard what they do as their right, as Muslims. Many would prefer not to help them - unless their families are hungry.
Hunger can make lots of people choose things they want no part of - like the way starving Africans embrace Christianity - they want that soup, and won't dare refuse to listen to the preaching, even when told they don't have to. Islam isn't the only faith that uses human ignorance and suffering to gain converts. It just uses more abysmally brutal methods.
Obama is a realist. We have a grave need to be fighting the terrorists (by whatever name they use) in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Therefore, though he knows none of them (including Iraq, too) are democracies, except in name, he can get more done against terrorist groups by acknowledging their "democracies." Saying what he really thinks of them would only cramp our efforts severely.
How do you spell "between a rock and a hard place"? Obama truly knows the score. He knows the dire threat Islam poses to the world. And is doing his utmost, based on the realities he's faced with.
Why do you suppose his hair is greying up so fast? HE has to embrace the world's most horrific realities, which the rest of us have the luxury of not having to acknowledge, or even know about.
