The enemies within taunt the valiant soldiers while the British government cowers in a corner against the Islamic scum. We must honor these men who have fought against tyranny as their ancestors did. Irregardless of if we believe these soldiers should really be in Afghanistan, we cannot doubt that they are fighting the true enemy of those who relish freedom. Every piece of Islamic garbage that they put in the grave is a victory for free men. Let their deeds represent them as the heroes they are.

The RADICAL MUSLIMS are the ones that are loving, tolerant, and forgiving towards non-Muslims in direct violation of the Koran.

I do have one or two observations of my own, however.

First: Padraic Flanaghan, reporter, he of the magnificent Irish name, and his colleague John Ingham of the equally splendid English name, and the Daily Express editor who chose to publish their report, and the Daily Express personages (the editor? and whoever else it was?) who cared enough to report to the authorities what it was that John and Padraic found so easily by merely visiting a Muslim website, should all be duly congratulated by all British jihadwatchers, in Letters to the Editor.

Second: yet again, I hear the voice of Patrick Mercer, MP, former soldier, and son of a Bishop. His heart seems to be in the right place. His commonsense has not entirely departed. He can recognise the abominable when he hears and sees it.

British jihadwatchers: write to *him*; encourage him; do your best to educate him further. Try to find out whether he knows about Mr Spencer's work (in particular, as an ex-soldier, he should be got to read 'Onward Muslim Soldiers') or Stephen Coughlin's thesis 'To Our Great Detriment' or Raymond Ibrahim's The Al-Qaeda Reader'; he most certainly *ought* to have read, or even consulted with, Canon Dr Patrick Sookhdeo, whose analysis of Islam, and whose warnings about Stealth Jihad, are just as clear-eyed as Spencer's. If you are Christian: pray for Mr Mercer and for all others in public office in Britain - there *are* others - who are also showing glimmerings of understanding and signs of fight.

The more intelligent letters and phonecalls of encouragement Mr Mercer, MP, and others like him, receive, the more they will be emboldened.

Sound advice as ususal, dda. I wish this Mercer fellow well. He seems like a good guy, perhaps not informed enough as of yet, but if the instincts are right, the knowledge will follow.

I love Britain. I love the idea of Britain. She's a great nation but is now foundering and under dismal leadership. Compounding all this is the great menace, Islam of course, to all that is best in the British tradition.

To begin with, the mocking of British culture by Brits themselves has to stop. Enough already. Monty Python and its ilk need to be put on hold for a while. It's not funny anymore. Self-deprecation has its merits but it too can be taken too far. Churchillian realizations and resolve should become the order of the day. All that is great, enlightened and noble is still rescuable in the great island nation but time is running out.

And Islam is in the dark corners hoping that time does indeed run out for the great people of Great Britain. The present assault on the UK is no less potentially lethal than that posed by other forces of evil back in 1940, only the methods of destruction have been altered. Time to dig deep and preserve freedom for posterity yet again, which will take some doing and which will prove once more that Thomas Jefferson was eminently correct when he observed that freedom isn't free. Be it Nazis or imams, one totalitarian ideology or the next one, those who cherish liberty and don't take it for granted can never let their guard down.

British Muslims are truly biting the hand that feeds them. The British government notwithstanding, when the "football" fans have had enough it's not going to be pretty.

Dear Wellington, I love Britain, too, the great country of Will Shakespeare, Isaac Newton and Winston Churchill that freed Europe from the Nazis with cooperation of the Americans, of course. Muslims are devoid of any sense of humour, hence the lack of comprehension between our ways of life, I avoid the term culture, because Islam hasn't got any culture or civilisation in my books. There was never a real debate, a conversation possible between us and the trolls. They were a good, albeit involuntary laugh. Take pride in Britain and all her achievements. We shall overcome!

Well, they definitely are not loyal to the UK. It only proves that the mass imigration is nothing more than advance positioning.

Major Miller of the Defence Intelligence Staff said "Lets not kid ourselves. To date Operation Herrick (the British codename for the War in Afghanistan) has been a failure". He claimed that hundreds of millions of pounds of taxpayers money had been wasted on a war which had failed to deliver any real reconstruction, governance or security. He further stated the chief "effect" of the British presence in Helmand has been to transform Helmand into the opium centre of the world. With our national debt of £1.4 trillion war in Afghanistan for the next five or more years will be money spent for the good of Islamic people while more than a million British children are living in abject poverty desperately in need of that misspent money.
