Police are searching for a burqa-clad man who helped steal designer watches worth £150,000 in an armed robbery yesterday.The man and two accomplices, armed with a handgun and an axe, burst into Michael Jones Jewellers on the High Street in Banbury, Oxfordshire, at about 2.20pm.
They threatened four members of staff, a man and three women, with their weapons before making off with Rolex, Cartier and Breitling watches....
The incident is the latest in a spate of 'burqa robberies' where thieves conceal their identity with the full-body garment typically worn by Muslim women....
It is a little more professional looking than a ski mask or, in the old West, when the crook pulled up his bandana over his nose. These crooks probably donate a large percentage of their profits to their favorite Islamic(terrorist) charity. It gives new meaning to the Bristish personna of Robbin' Hood.

If you can't wear halloween costumes on the street any time you want, then why should anyone be allowed to wear a burqa?

This thread is crying out for an APB/Wanted poster of one of those Afghan burqas with the screen over the eyes as the wanted person's image. I don't have the graphic talent.
And until burqas are banned, all burqa-clad people need to be rounded up and taken in for questioning as "persons of interest" in this crime. And if that interrogation process takes 12-16 hours before they are cleared and cut loose, and if the same person gets rounded up time and again, well, that's the price we pay for justice...
Given the mainstream dominance of PC MC and the irrational deference and "respect" it mandates for Muslims, this should catch on among clever non-Muslim criminals: the best way to get past security (as well as to disguise yourself) in any context is to put on a burqa. Nine times out of ten, security personnel will bend over backwards to accord you latitude they wouldn't accord to most anyone else.
The Muslims will start to complain if you attempt to stop burka clad bimbos from entering your store...

France is thinking about it; the idea has even been mooted at least once in Australia. The subject has also been mooted in at least one British newspaper.
For perfectly good and sufficient security reasons, all versions of Muslim female coverup (that is, the Muslim slave rag for females) that conceal the wearer's identity by obscuring all or part of the face and most or all of the body shape [which btw makes it easier for a man to pose as a woman] *should* be banned from all public spaces throughout the non-Muslim world.
The next step, once people have got used to laying down the law to Muslims, and enforcing it, would be for *every* form of the slave rag, even those that do permit the wearer's face to be seen, to be banned as being tantamount to the deliberate wearing of the SS deathshead or of a Swastika armband, by a signed-up member of a Neonazi party; or as tantamount to the wearing of a KKK hood and robe.
In effect the French, by banning the Muslim headscarf in their state schools, have already made a start; all they have to do is take the further step and realize that whereas the Hindu bindi and red string, the Sikh turban [except in cases where safety headgear is preferable], the Jewish skullcap, the Christian nun's or monk's habit or priest's dog-collar and cassock, or the simple pendant with a cross or star of david, are quite harmless and need not to be banned from public view, *Muslim* uniform whether on a male or a female *is* a statement of the wearer's conscious membership of a dangerous geopolitical cult with serious intentions of Total World Domination.
While we get ourselves used to the idea that we ought to stop letting Muslims in, and evict the ones we've already got, we can damp down the aggression of our existing Mohammedan colonies a bit by actively stymying their attempts to Islamoform our urban landscapes.
Banning the Slave Rag, so long as that ban was resolutely and consistently enforced (forcibly, if necessary) *would* have some effect - anyone who has read the chapter 'the power of context' in Gladwell's "Tipping Point', would understand why.

Seriously folks: when I was a kid in Australia, I recall being told that wearing a mask, at any time, was against the law, as it could be used to rob banks. I wonder if that's still the law in Oz. And what of UK? As Spirit Wolf says, you can't wear Halloween costume. How about banning (or re-banning) all costumes that hide the face....?

There's a law in New York (and I'll bet in many other jurisdictions as well), though it does seem to have plenty of loopholes:
