A prison spent £17,000 on special toilets for foreigners and footbaths for Muslims.Figures obtained from the Ministry of Justice under the Freedom of Information Act show that the money was spent on two footbaths, a "squat" toilet and a shower area at Canterbury Prison in Kent, which only holds foreign nationals awaiting deportation and has 92 Muslim inmates.
Footbaths are often used by Muslims as they are required to wash their feet before prayer. However, the area is not exclusive to Muslims and can be used by all inmates.
What a relief! I'm sure many grime-footed inmates will want to avail themselves of this boon!
The expenditure was condemned by the TaxPayers' Alliance.Matthew Elliott, chief executive, said: "It's ridiculous that we are spending so much money on prisoners who should have been deported, rather than kept here as a burden on innocent taxpayers.
"Making basic provision for people's needs is one thing, but there is no reason at all why there should be special toilets installed. If prison doesn't have the perfect toilet facilities for you, then you shouldn't have committed a crime, it isn't meant to be nice."...

The board also stressed no complaints have been received of non-Muslims being denied access to the area.
This is ridiculous. Why would they want to be there in the first place?
Other measures have been taken to accommodate the prison's global population, including a multi-faith area allowing all inmates to practise their religion. Muslim prisoners are permitted one hour's use every Friday for prayers.Islamic prayer timetables are provided, the Koran is available on request and an Imam is employed for 18 hours a week to carry out generic work and faith duties.

According to my religious belief (Christian naturism) it is a violation of my human rights if any prisoners or prison guards in view wear close and if I am not allowed to use a swimming pool and a solarium at least 6 hours a day.

I can think of a possible cure, but it's pretty drastic: send the patient to a Moslem country --e.g. Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Iran, Afghanistan, or Bangladesh -- to live for a month as an infidel. I say "drastic" since many, maybe most, wouldn't survive. But I think any survivors would be cured.
A drop in the bucket compared to what is spent on the detainees at Guantanamo (and what will soon be spent on them in Federal prisons in the United States).
The Uighurs got an entire computer network, 22 brand new laptops, a computer trainer to teach them how to use the internet and email, etc.
It is Ramadan and Camp Delta at Guantanamo is a huge quiet zone. No car horns, loud radios, loud conversations or other loud noises while the detainees are fasting and praying. They get upset when you distract them from their worship of Allah.

Coming through one of Changi Airport`s terminals in Singapore last month I looked into the so-called Inter-Denominational Prayer Room.
One is greeted just inside the door of a large room with... a footbath. To the right, a stack of Korans and prayer mats. Five Muslim men praying. In a back corner is a square screened off area with heavy green drapes. Pulling the curtain aside a little I see cleaning materials, some stacked plastic chairs. Fair enough. Pulling it further aside... among the brooms and buckets, three prostrate heavily veiled women.

I hope the toilets are facing away from Mecca so their farts can be aimed in the right direction!
Since they have footbaths, a shower section would be overkill, because it is obvious that Muslim feet are the only body part required to be clean!
The interesting thing that has been missed in this story is the disproportionate number of muslims in prison in relation to the population. We are repeatedly told that muslims are only 3 % of the British population and while this is probably another nuLabour lie with the true figure being 5% it is reported Muslims are something like 11-13% of prisoners.
This is of course a crime against political correctness because under PC rules minority populations can only be prosecuted or imprisoned in the same proportion as the majority. Our liberals are normally very quick with their calculators and as soon as any minority is exceeding its allocated percentage they are on the scene screaming; "Discrimination!" That they have not done so in this case would suggest that there really are up to four times as many Muslim criminals as there should be for the population and they don't want to make too much fuss about it.
Can't the footbath also be used as a toilet?

Islam is the fastest growing ideology in prisons here in the USA. Looks like the UK is seeing the same thing.
I have a few questions, maybe the leaders in the West should be asking, instead of reworking the plumbing.
What is it about Mohammedans that they for some reason cannot behave themselves in the civilized West?
What is it about Islam, its culture, sharia, that prevents Mohammedans from integrating fully into civilized Western culture?
Is the propaganda put forth by Mohammedan websites and public speakers true or are they lies? If they are lies, are they countered freely and openly?
What happens to people who speak out against Islamic ideology?
What happens to apostates?
What does Islam do in Dar al Islam, as opposed to Dar al Harb?
Unless Western leaders become fully educated about Islamic ideology they can never protect the free people of the West, no matter what kind of plumbing they put in a jail.
