AURORA, Colorado (CNN) -- Federal agents have charged a 24-year-old Colorado resident, his father and another man with making false statements during an extensive terror investigation that stretches to Pakistan.
The Justice Department said Sunday it is investigating several other people in connection with the plot to detonate bombs in the United States.
Najibullah Zazi and his father, Mohammed Wali Zazi -- both originally from Afghanistan -- were arrested Saturday night. They were handcuffed without incident after authorities raided Zazi's home in the Denver suburb of Aurora.
An acquaintance of the two men, Ahmad Wais Afzali, of Queens, New York, was also arrested. Afzali is a legal permanent resident from Afghanistan, as is Najibullah Zazi. Mohammed Wali Zazi is a naturalized U.S. citizen.
"Each of the defendants has been charged by criminal complaint with knowingly and willfully making false statements to the FBI in a matter involving international and domestic terrorism," the Justice Department said in a statement....
The Mohammedan lifestyle: plot mass murder terrorist attacks, rape non Muslim women, murder, deceive, lie, play the victim and get free money, complain and whine, blame everything on non Muslims, espouse that Sharia and Islam rules everybody, misogyny, pedophilia, incest, kidnapping, fraud, hatred and the list goes on. Islam sure does teach some redeeming qualities. Yeah right! What a screwball ideology! Nothing but blood letting is the legacy of Islam. Slavery, and human misery and captivity both physical, mental and emotional are the hallmarks of Islam.
Good! I am so glad that the FBI didn't fall for the taqiyyah.
It's a step in the right direction in dealing with the lesser jihadist terrorism plotters.
Now, if only the leading politicians and lawmakers of the western democracies could apply this "rule of thumb" to the Stealth Jihadists...

"Who thought it intelligent to let these people in? Who allowed them to do so? How did Mohammad Wali Zazi become a citizen? Was he asked to take a loyalty oath? If there is no such requirement, why isn't there?
Since 9/11/2001, have members of Congress taken an interest in looking into changing our immigration laws, so as to make sure that those who are taught that they have a duty to spread a doctrine that is not merely alien, but alien and hostile, are not permitted to swell the ranks of those who accept that same proselytizing, determined, fanatical faith that is akin to a totalitarian political doctrine in its all-inclusiveness, and that stunts both moral and mental growth of its own adherents, and presents a permanent threat to the legal and political institutions of this, and all other, Infidel nation-states?
The INS appears out of control. It would not surprise me to learn that Muslims within that organization, or outside, continue to work their will and prevent any intelligent and rational discussion of whether or not this country can afford -- literally -- to allow in more people when a certain percentage of them are guaranteed to be a permanent security risk, and to divert resources needed elsewhere. And that is not the worst of it.
The INS is pulling those Trojan Horses right into cities everywhere in this country!--- Such as Dearbornistan, and Minneapolistan.
And what do we pay them for? Quite frankly when we look at the invasion from the south, let alone the Muslims that are aloud to flood into our country almost seemingly unheeded do to some really non-descript reasons;quite frankly I don't have a clue---but again I digress, after all it is your tax money at work being used by many of your self serving political hacks and what lobbyist group can get to them.

I read on CNN that the FBI found bomb making plans on his computer. But he claimed that the bomb making plans were downloaded along with a religious book that he then deleted.
How many religions in the world would have bomb making plans bundled together with their religions books?

False statements......huh, sounds serious. That ought to warrant a stiff penalty.

If these guys were considering bombing sports arenas as has been suggested, I say put them on the field at Yankee Stadium in bright orange jumpsuits during the seventh inning stretch, play the National Anthem and announce to the crowd that these vermin were planning to murder them. Then, give em a nice pat on the back and tell them "You're on your own".

"A naturalized U.S. citizen"? This is what Mr. Zazi pledged, in order to become a citizen of this great nation:
"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."
8 C.F.R. 337.1 provides that the phrase "so help me God" is optional.
Good thing, isn't it--since he obviously didn't mean a word of this solemn oath. Men like Zazi--with his own son--can plot terrorist attacks against the country that welcomed him in. War is deceit, indeed.
Zazi told the FBI that he must have unintentionally downloaded the notes as part of a religious book he downloaded in August. Zazi said he "immediately deleted the religious book within days of downloading it after realizing that its contents discussed jihad."
What religious book would contain notes on bomb manking and Jihad? Only one religion has Jihad as a central element: Islam.
This "war on terror" is really more easily solved as an immigration issue. At this point the only way to avoid the building culture clash within our society would be to have the Islamic world offer 100% multicultural reciprocity to the west. Anything short of that will eventually lead to WW3, and I really doubt we can bomb enough Islamic countries, or build enough schools to get them to work towards that goal.
We are essentially at an impasse, the very foundation of our society presumes the "melting pot", where all races, cultures, and religions can live together in peace. This concept has been difficult to actually realize to this point, but not impossible. Essentially our military is being used to prove that the "melting pot" model can work with Islam in the mix. Again I do not think there are enough bombs to drop, or bullets to shoot, or schools to build which will change the basic fact that there isn't any reciprocity of multicultural acceptance in the Islamic world.
There is not a military solution to this, it is an immigration issue, only.
So now might be a good time to maybe re-think that free-for-all immigration policy. Now that the health bill is going down in flames.
What is the difference between a false statement or a threat? Intent? How can that be proved?
