A man who produced a do-it-yourself jihad book has been sentenced to 12 years in prison in Australia.
Bela Khazaal was found guilty last September of producing a 110-page book, in Arabic, entitled Provisions Of The Rules of Jihad.
This advised about terrorist acts such as exploding bombs, shooting down planes and assassinating people such as former US President George W Bush.
And yet:
Khazaal had claimed his book was never intended to incite terrorist acts.
At his sentencing in Sydney, Justice Megan Latham said she found it "unsurprising" a jury had rejected his defence.
"It beggars belief that a person of average intelligence who has devoted themselves to the study of Islam over some years would fail to recognise the nature of the material," she said.
"The dissemination of extremist activity, connected or unconnected with a terrorist plot, is caught by the government's (anti-terror) scheme ... (because such material) is capable and is shown to foment terrorist activity."
Khazaal, a former Lebanon-born Qantas Airways baggage-handler, compiled the book from a range of Internet sources, his lawyer George Thomas told the court at an earlier sentencing hearing.
Its full title is Provisions Of The Rules of Jihad - Short Judicial Rulings And Organisational Instructions For Fighters And Mujahideen Against Infidels.
He is the first person to be convicted on the charge of making a document connected with assistance in a terrorist act, which carries a maximum jail term of 15 years....

Amazing that these Jihadis gravitate to jobs in aviation particularly as baggage handlers. By now one would have thought that all western countries would know that Muslims and baggage handlers is a bad idea.
Why the suckerhearted sentencing of only 15 years for such terrorists? He should be hung in short order. When will the West (in which I include Australia) have the toughness to get permanently rid of those who give aid for mass murder? In 15 years he can - and probably will - try again. What makes possible in the West this childlike naivete and girly soft-heartedness? I suspect it's one of the weakening love-your-enemy type legacies of Christianity, which in the age of Muslim-zombie suicide killers is suicidal like never before.
OT: I just saw this online. It's in the New Orleans Times-Picayune newspaper - "Giant Muslim baby boy born in Sumatra" (that's my heading). His name is - get this - "Akbar" - and his father's name is what else? Muhammed. And he already has two younger brothers. And so the Demographic Jihad continues.

Oh, my, twelve years in a cushy Aussie prison where he can pray to Allah all day, watch soccer on the flat-screen TV, and convert some of the other prisoners. Oh, he must be shaking in his little boots. Hell, what must I do to get a prison sentence, if I ever find myself unemployed? THIS IS TREASON and the hairy verdunteleute should be shot and thrown in an unmarked pit!

What was interesting is that some friends and relatives of the accused said that it was because he is Muslim that he got such a hefty sentence. Apparently one said if he hadn't been a Muslim, he would have only gotten 5 months. Oh boy!

THINK of all the endless opportunities such a one would have for everything from drug-smuggling (or, perhaps, just for fun, the 'framing' of hapless Infidel passengers, by the secreting of drug stashes or other contraband in their luggage?) on through to the aiding of jihad terror raiders by conducting surveillance for them and passing on information about airport layout, routines, timetables, location of surveillance and nature of other security measures, or making sure jihadis' stuff got through safely, and even perhaps for directly, personally conducting some kind of attack himself.
Perhaps all of us Aussie jihadwatchers, especially those who are frequent flyers whether domestically or internationally, need to write to QANTAS and to all other Australian airlines, begging and pleading for them *not* to hire Mohammedans like this person in any capacity anywhere on their vehicles or in their facilities...for we will be taking such things into account, when deciding whether and with whom to fly.
This guy got caught. But how many other potential Khazaals might be out there, handling baggage, cleaning and 'maintaining' planes, etc? And when is one of *those* suddenly going to Get Religion and...Go Jihad on us?
Hooray! I finally made an entry. Now, some added bits of info. In the inevitable media throng outside the court a number of his supporters, at least the ones interviewed, all spouted exactly the same line. Any guesses? - apart from "he's innocent". "They {the govt/po}ice/everyone} are picking on him just because he's a muslim!" The fact that he was convicted of terrorist charges in Lebanon is of course conveniently forgotten. - and don't get me started on how could he have been allowed into the country in those circumstances.
This is exactly the same response seen by the families and friends of the infamous "sydney rape gang " that terrorised sydney a few years ago. Background info. Sydney was terrorised by a highly organised rape gang. The perpetrators were all lebanese muslims, the victims all anglo-saxon christian girls. It was known early on {based on the anti anglo-saxon language used by the perpetrators} that they considered these girls to be less than human, and were targeted based-to a great degree- on them not being muslim.
I still remember the 60 minutes follow up a few months afterward where the families of the now jailed rapists expressed hatred for all those who had so wrongfully persecuted their innocent brothers/sons.
No explanation was offered regarding the presence of their semen, and d.n.a. form the wounds of the beatings.
I can only imagine if the reverse had occurred; if you get rioting and killings from a few harmless cartoons .....
At a later time I will post about the "Cronulla riots", which basically didn't happen and the connection to jihadist behaviour.
