Forced land sales, forced evictions, and an attempt to abduct a Christian woman. "Dhaka: armed Muslim gangs against Christians, victims of robberies and violence," by William Gomes for Asia News, September 7:
Dhaka (Asia News) - In Solepur (Dhaka diocese) the local Catholic community has experienced break-ins, forced land sales and motorcycle thefts. For several weeks its members have been targeted by armed Muslim gangs who carry out all sorts of crimes whilst the police does nothing to stop the violence, and this despite the many reports and complaints filed.
The historic Church of Saint Joseph, built in 1850, is one of the oldest in Bangladesh. It is also the heart of Solepur parish, in Dhaka. In 1997 a mob of Muslim fanatics targeted the building, threatening to tear it down and expel Christians from the area. Now members of the congregation have become the target of Muslim gangs who have carried out violent attacks.
Pavel John Gomes, a young Catholic activist in Solepur, said that he was "afraid" to talk about the many cases of "persecution against Christians" because of possible retaliation. He did however say that "forced land sales to Muslims" had taken place, that some residents had been "forced to leave their village" and that at least in one case there was an attempt to "abduct a young Christian woman."
On 30 August a Muslim stole a moped from a young Christian man. Raju Augustine and Rozario filed a report with the police, but no one from the local station tried to look for the stolen vehicle or the thief.
On 15 August an armed gang of Muslims attacked the home of Prokash Rizario, taking money and other goods that belonged to the family.
"We were few and they surrounded us," he said. The real goal of the bandits was to "throw us off our land."...

Egyptian Copts have the same problems with Muslim "bandits"...as do Nigerian Christians, Indonesian Christians, and many other non Muslim entities around the globe...the dots are getting easier to connect.
Meanwhile, the U.S. and the other "Christian" nations of the West pour billions of dollars per year into this criminal state. Why?
We can't be unduly critical of the Bangladesh police while the same is happening in the UK.
Horrible...I can't help but think of how Israel is excoriated for building on her own lands, while these Islamic mobs confiscate land from Christians and stealing women. Every country in Asia and the Middle East is being overrun-and it's affecting the West, of course, also, but not to the same degree.
This would seem like a great time for some leadership from the pope or the Vatican .

In the case of the UK and much of the rest of the West, this is an excess of political correctness, and a fear of appearing "Islamophobic".
In Bangladesh--and Egypt, and Indonesia, and Nigeria, and Pakistan, and many other places in the "Muslim world", it is because the police identify with the perpetrators, their co-religonists, and in many cases do not consider the most horrendous things done to Infidels--kidnappings, forced conversions, forced land sales, theft or destruction of their property, even murder--to be crimes at all, if perpetrated by Muslims.
Looking at this ugly spectacle in Bangladesh (and thinking of all the other ugly spectacles exactly like it, in other parts of the Islamosphere), one must ask- in what way does the Ummah, or Muslim Mob, viewed objectively, differ from an organised crime gang, such as the Mafia, except in numbers and longevity? It has a 'code' and a mythology, so to speak; but so did the Thuggees.
Theft, extortion, kidnapping, human trafficking, pimping, rape, fraud, murder...all prescribed, permitted, sacralised, so long as they are carried out against anyone who doesn't belong to The Mob (along with pettier mundane indulgences of spite, such as 'trash talking' and harassment and shoving into the gutter). And permissible, too, against members of The Mob who break The Code [i.e Sharia] - which means in practice that, very often, members of The Mob who feel like doing something awful (even murder) to other people, do it to other members, especially females, and *justify* it and get off scot free, by *saying* that those other members had broken The Code [even if in fact said fellow members, hadn't].
Nonie Darwish, in 'Cruel and Usual Punishment', speaks very bluntly:
"While some religions cater to the side of humanity that seeks fairness and the golden rule - to treat your neighbour the way you want to be treated - *Islam discovered and preserved the side of humanity that wants to take from others, subjugate others, and perhaps even be subjugated to reinforce the feeling of victimhood* {my emphasis added}. Islam exploits the dark side found in all of us to different degrees". (p. 200).
She is saying exactly what John Quincy Adams saw, two hundred years ago, in Islam:
"THE ESSENCE OF HIS (Mohammed's) DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST:
"TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE ".
