Robert, it's time to spice up your wardrobe. Perhaps if you appeared on an episode of "What Not to Wear"?
Knife? Son you don't take a knife to a gunfight. There are plenty of us out here armed to the teeth. Just like those stupid "palestinians" throwing rocks at Israeli tanks, Allah thinks you're stupid taking on a tank with a stick. Just as I think your stupid taking on anybody with a knife who might possibly be armed with a gun.
This is probably not someone who would actually attack. Nevertheless I think there is a slight possibility, perhaps more than any of the other hatemailers, that this one might just intend to have a go.
Just a feeling, but I think this is one to guard against, not to ignore.

Act! Even some small things will make a difference. In my previous posts (even 3 years ago) I outlined several principals how to make moslems’ life less pleasant.
In addition I also get some fun:
Every August our city is flooded with moslems. As usual they concentrate in certain area, which is not far from where I live. During that month I walk our dog on that street (despite my wife’s protests – she thinks he might get flees from them). Just imagine – a street crowded with moslems and we get right in the middle. I am tempted to make pictures of the scene.
Recently 2 ambassadors with big families from 2 moslem countries moved to our building. I and the dog started to use lift more often. They do not get in if the dog is inside.
Threats and intimidation don't work against those, such as Robert, who daily report on Muslim threats and intimidation.
Robert's courage to continue his work can only be bolstered by this threat from a self-identified "good Muslim."
One thing you gotta love about Islamic terrorists is how completely stupid they are. I can't believe this. I am from Woodstock, IL. I grew up in Woodstock. First of all, we don't have that many muslims, to be honest. Actually, come to think of it---we do have some pakistani families who own some pizza stores in the area. I don't want to blame them. But, this really makes me wonder who the hell in Woodstock is making these threats. My entire family still lives in Woodstock. It's a great place. What the hell--now jihadis are moving in.

A DEATH THREAT IS A POLICE MATTER, and it should be investigated immediately, the threatener brought to justice. There is no 'religious' angle to this threat, it is first and foremost a criminal matter. The 'religion of peace' seems to produce many such criminals.

QE, I consider myself to be a pretty rational, logical person. I'm an engineer. One of the inside jokes in engineering (you gotta know about engineering humor, that in itself is kind of oxymoronic) is, "in God we trust, everybody else bring data." I have no problem acknowledging not only that there is a God, the Author, Prime Mover, and Sustainer of this universe, but also that He loves each one of us and desires an intimate, personal, loving relationship with every one of His children. Do my prayers get answered? Not always, or at least I don't always see or understand the answer. But I admire people who have a strong prayer life. They don't deserve ridicule. I'll lay odds that Marylouise offered a prayer for you after your cynical response. It's easy to see that her response is not only more rational, but kinder, than yours. Finally, here's a challenge. Try prayer. Pick out something important in your life that you feel is really a disappointment. Challenge God with it. Tell Him that you want to see Him resolve that for you. Then please report back here, or else go to a church and give God glory for listening to you and answering YOUR prayer.
