We have some conservative commentators even the Blue State of Connecticut, home of Senators Dodd (D Countrywide) and Lieberman (I).

Dustan continues with the insults, hoping to convince people new to this forum and to the subject, that we regulars here are stupid uneducated rednecks. (Though, if he is a Mohammedan in a mask, what he *really* means by accusing us of being 'imbeciles' is that we insist on remaining non-Mohammedan. In the Orwellian nightmare that is Islamspeak, Islam = Knowledge and Non-Islam [and the decision to persist in Non-Islam] = Ignorance.)

I doubt that any of us here - most of us, even those without conventional educations, being inveterate bookworms and history buffs - could be accused of Ignorance (if one uses the word as non-Muslims use it, not as Muslims use it). Wellington and Cornelius, for example, two of our regular commenters, are both, I understand, academics of some kind. I, too, have a tertiary education involving a Bachelor's Degree at one of Australia's major universities, and then a PhD at another. What that taught me - in more than twelve years of ploughing through all manner of academic tomes in a variety of subjects - was how to distinguish good writing from bad, and good scholarship from bad. Mr Spencer is a good scholar and a good writer, gifted in the art of wearing his learning lightly, and explaining a hard subject in plain words.

I shall be buying *two* copies of 'The Infidel's Guide to the Koran': one for myself and one for the library of my parish church.

Oh, those darned infidels! Abie Mikey and Dustan cannot stand that some kuffar would have the out-right gall to write a book about Islam. That is territory of Muslim "Islamic Scholars" who are well versed in "taquiyya" and "kittman", not some tricky unbeliever who insists on telling the truth.

If you are new to these lively "discussions" with Islam apologists, I suggest that you read the Qur'an yourself. While you are reading, bear in mind that all Muslims believe that the Qur'an IS the word of Allah. Naturally, this means that it is unchanging and eternal. It cannot be interpreted, analyzed or changed. If it was okay to beat your wife in 7th century Arabia, then it's okay now! (The prophet even beat Aisha, his child bride (age 6)).

A proper Muslim apologist will deny that the Qur'an says that it's okay to bear your wife and the prophet (BBOH) never beat his wives. This is taquiyya in action. It is true, you are only as sick as the secrets you keep.

I keep seeing you highly-educated people through out the taqiyya card, no doubt due to your studies of one Mr. Robert Bruce Spencer, born 1962 in South Carolina. That you keep using "taqiyya" to brush all Muslims shows how stupid you are. I am, again, not a Muslim, I am a man who believes in no diety. I think you are an idiot for rubbing your face in the ground towards Mecca, just as I think you are an idiot to believe that God raped a virgin to produce a portion of himself.
