Explosives in a Koran, bombings near a mosque -- why, sometimes it's almost enough for someone to think that maybe, just maybe, Islam really isn't a Religion of Peace.
But anyway, while there would be international riots if non-Muslims had hid explosives in a Koran -- remember, it's a hate crime to put a slice of bacon into a Koran -- this Koran was wired by Muslims, and that makes it all right.

BAGHDAD -- Two bombs exploded near a Shiite mosque in Baghdad on Saturday, while the government said that the police found and defused another explosive hidden inside a Koran at one of the holiest Shiite shrines in the city.Baghdad was hit by several bombs on Saturday. Thick smoke rose over the city after a car bomb detonated near a mosque not far from the Tigris River.
Saturday's bombings, like many recently, appeared intended to kill Shiite civilians and inflame sectarian tensions that continue to simmer despite a general reduction in violence in recent years.
Iraq's Interior Ministry said in a statement that a man left the Koran containing a pound of explosives outside the shrine of Musa al-Khadim and his grandson, 2 of the 12 imams of Shiite Islam, in an attempt to reignite the carnage that engulfed Iraq in 2006 and 2007.
"This terrorist is trying to start a sectarian war," the statement, read on state television, said. The man who left the bomb slipped away.
The two bombs that did explode killed at least three people and wounded more than a dozen others at another holy Shiite site not far away on the opposite side of the Tigris. The first detonated near the mosque, which includes the tomb of a revered ninth-century sheik, Mohammed bin Othman al-Omari, and was followed moments later by an explosion of a car bomb in a nearby parking lot....

1. I will draw it, and print it (just the cover)
2. I will print and put the evil Mohammad's picture on the inside
3. I will soak it in bacon fat and cover it with pork
4. I will then Burn it and video tape it
5. I will call it art and submit it to youtube
Now since its a FAKE artistic copy of the Koran and it was drawn up by me
I wonder will the obama and the democrats try to arrest me ?

and the loss of life was terrible...and it was all Muslim upon Muslim...the ages old conflict of Shi'ite versus Sunni...the conflict existed before there were any coalition forces there and the conflict will continue long after the coalition forces leave...
But the bonds of Islam are sometimes strangely internally understood...Muslim A kills Muslim B, not much is said openly about it, both go back to their mosques, pray to Allah...tomorrow Muslim B kills Muslim A...not much is said..both go back to their mosques, and pray to Allah...Allah knows best....
In the meantime...both groups of Muslims are actively seek out non Muslims to annihilate..

Procedure: obtain large fancy Quran as freebie from Muslim organisation engaged in dawa.
Pack explosive into Quran as was done by the Muslim bomber whose activities are recorded in the posted article. Surround with mannequins (like the mannequins sometimes used by the 'Myth Busters' TV show).
Detonate Quran-bomb. During the detonation, from a safe distance, film the detonation using the sort of camera that is employed for movie special effects.
Replay in slow-slow-mo.
Installation comprises the film clip showing, over and over, in the most exquisitely slowest of slow-mo, the Quran-bomb sitting there oh-so-innocently and then exploding, blowing itself and the mannequins around it to smithereens.
(For extra impact, two other artworks could flank the screen - artworks also inspired by the activities of actual-factual Muslims: namely, a Quran opened to show that a hollow has been cut inside, and packed with little plastic bags containing mysterious white powder - caption 'the crystal-meth of the people'; and a Quran opened to show a hollow cut inside, with a weapon nestling in the hollow: caption 'the religion of war').
