Muslims riot, attack Jews on Temple Mount

It all started with rumors of an "invasion" by Israeli settlers. "Policemen wounded in Temple Mt. riots," from the Jerusalem Post, September 27 :

Twelve policemen and 15 rioters were wounded Sunday in riots on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and later in the Old City.

Approximately 150 Muslim worshipers participated in the disturbance on the Temple Mount, which began when a group of Jewish visitors was admitted into the compound.

Rioters hurled rocks at the group and at policemen who were escorting them, lightly wounding two policemen. Police responded with stun grenades and the visitors were escorted away.

The riots died down, but the Temple Mount was subsequently closed off to visitors.

Later some rioting developed on the streets of the Old City, and additional policemen and rioters were wounded in those scuffles. Several rioters were arrested by police.

Rabah Bkirat, an official with the Muslim religious body in charge of managing the site, said some of the protesters had come because of rumors of an "invasion" by Jewish settlers. When a group of some 15 Jews entered the grounds accompanied by police, the protesters began chanting slogans and only threw stones after police used force, he said....

It was obviously a misunderstanding...Now that the Mahoundians know there was no invasion, they will undoubtedly apologize to the Jews...

Of curse on Yom Kippur, the highest Jewish holiday of the year.

Its not that they haven't tried before or that this is a pattern repeated throughout Mohammedan history to attack other religions on their high holidays...

If the Jews had caused tumoil during Ramadan we would never hear the end of it.
This will slip by the mainstream media, CNN, MSNBC,etc. like nothing ever happened.

As I recall this happen eight years ago (don't hold me on the time). There were a number of riots over a two or three month period then they started firing rockets from Gaze. Does anyone remember this and if so did I get something out of order or was it some other actions. I remember something happened as a result of the last temple mount incident.

I say kick them out of Jerusalem because eventually they will be driven out according to the Word of God. Which BTW is far more accurate that their book (which they ripped off).

King Solomon built the First Temple in the 10th century B.C. The Babylonians destroyed it in 586 B.C. The Jews built the Second Temple in 515 B.C. after Jerusalem was freed from Babylonian captivity. The Romans destroyed the Second Temple in A.D. 70.

The First Temple stood for about 400 years, the second for almost 600. Both Temples served as the center of religious worship for the whole Jewish nation. All Jewish holidays centered on worship at the Temple – the central location for the offering of sacrifices and the main gathering place for the Jewish people.

Mohammad is the interloper -- and so are his followers.

"It all started with rumors...."

a lot of Muslim violence begins with Rumors or allegations...

rumors of dropped Qur'an
rumors of talking to Christians
rumors of dating non-Muslims
rumors of illicit sex
rumors of conducting business with non-Muslims
rumors of talking to security personnel
rumors of not praying enough
rumors of being happy
rumors of being unwilling to join the jihadists
rumors....rumors...rumors....and the Qur'an are all that is needed to push the Muslim riot/violence button...the Islamic violence fuse is incredibly short....and they just plain love to destroy, maim, and kill....they will never change...

Google Sharon visits Temple Mount

Ladies and gentlemen - by all means click on the JPost link and read the entire article. *Then* read the comments/ talkback. There are a few Muslim supremacists taunting and strutting, and a few dhimmi idiots, but the vast majority sound just like jihadwatch regulars.

Sample comment: "Muslim intolerance
This is yet another example of worldwide Muslim hatred for all non Muslims/non believers in their religion. They seek world domination - listen to their statements and look at their actions everywhere."

The wind is changing. Infidels everywhere are wising up to the nasty game that Muslims play; to the refusal of reciprocity, the narcissistic supremacism, the deliberate, ostentatious, sadistic trampling upon the rights and freedoms and feelings of of others even while they, the Muslims, rage and squeal and demand all kinds of rights and freedoms for themselves and insist that everybody respect *their* exquisitely sensitive feelings.

David Kirshenbaum's article published Jerusalem Post only the day before, entitled bluntly 'Muslim Intolerance on the Temple Mount' hits the nail on the head.

Ooops. Perhaps I need to use 'preview' more often.

Small correction to the final paragraph of my posting above.

"David Kirshenbaum's article published in Jerusalem Post only the day before, entitled bluntly 'Muslim Intolerance on the Temple Mount', hits the nail on the head."

Al-Kidya

the mainstream media noticed it alright. Or Reuters did. And look what they wrote.

Here's the Reuters version as it appeared - unquestioningly swallowed and regurgitated - on Australia's national news (ABC) website:

http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/09/28/2697889.htm?section=justin

Read it. Compare and contrast with the JPost version.

Here's a sample paragraph from Reuters:

"One witness said police had told him religious Palestinians at the holy site were angry about what they considered the immodest dress of some of the tourists, and grew violent after police ignored their complaints". END QUOTE.

Remarks - For 'religious Palestinians' read 'rabidly antisemitic Arab Muslim fanatics'. And observe the weaselwording - 'at the holy site'. Reuters: you know damned well that Jews used that place continuously for at least a thousand years before Muslims came anywhere near it. It's *the* Jewish sacred site. Irreplaceable. Unique. Holiest place in the world, for believing Jews. And it's currently infested with violent Muslim squatters who have somehow intimidated the Jewish state into letting them stay there.

What else is there in this paragraph? - 'immodest dress'? Really? I don't believe that story for a minute. This was a party of *Jews* going up to visit their most holy place, only a few days before Yom Kippur - and to pray silently and invisibly in their hearts, because they're not even allowed to *whisper* a prayer, let alone pray out loud; they can't take a prayer book or kippah or prayer shawl or star of david or any other religious object. I rather doubt they were wearing shorts, singlets, or halterneck tops.

There are so many things wrong with this poisonous little Reuters article that it would take a couple of pages to list and analyse them all.

Anyway: after reading Reuters' piece of disgusting pro-Muslim antisemitic propaganda, re-read Kirshenbaum's article about Muslim intolerance, which I have linked in my posting above.

Then...be angry.

Take that mosque in jerusalem - brick by brick - and throw it over the fence into muslim lands.

They will probably whine and complain that the Jews are throwing bricks at them. Never mind that they do it all the time!

Anything muslim IS NOT holy! How can something be holy when it is wrapped around doing so much vile things to everyone?!?!?!?

"Art historians have kept up an unceasing flow of studies of the Dome of the Rock. In the context of Islamic architecture it remains unique, but in that of Roman architecture its form is directly in line with the late tradition in Syria. All of its important features, from the interior double colonnades to the great wooden dome, have been shown to be faithful reproductions of features of the Cathedral of Bosra in southern Syria. Its well-known mosaic decoration is Islamic only in the sense that the vocabulary is syncretic and does not include representation of men or animals. The entire building might be viewed as the last blossoming of the Hellenistic tradition before the Islamic synthesis created its own formulas."

It is a stolen (in every detail) Byzantine church. Strip the insulting anti-christian calligraphy, put a cross on the roof and make it what it is - a church! At least it won't be a mosque.

Should have kept the Temple Mount after reconquering it from the Mohammedans.

Now, Israel will have to wait for another opportunity like the one thrown away by Moshe Dayan to assume sovereignity over the Temple Mount.

Clearing the Jewish Temple Mount of the Moslem abominations built upon it should follow in short order.

Will this happen? Not until Israel changes its attitude towards the Mohammedans who exist only to kill Jews.

Would this be un-Jewish?

Well, Jews have been known to take up arms to slay their enemies during historical times and before then.

Well, Jews have been known to take up arms to slay their enemies during historical times and before then.

I wish this was true

Good work!

The level of bias is just astounding. But that's because Reuters use a lot of Palestinian and Muslim journalists.

Last week, the Israeli army arrested Reuters photographer Suhaib Jadallah Salem in the Gaza Strip, after a hand grenade was found in his car.
