Ice Star, no one of any religion can offer the proof you demand. Religion is based on faith, after all. It is not the absence of proof that makes Islam abominable - Muslims can worship the devil for all I care - it is that they want, no demand, to impose that belief on me and the rest of the world by any means, regardless of whether I want it or not. It is that they treat women as property, to be abused as they will. It is that they treat non-Muslims as 2nd class citizens with few rights in their own countries. It is that they demand to worship and build mosques in our countries, while denying the same worship and building of non-Islamic religious institutions in their own. It is that they abuse children by passing this poison and hatred of the other onto them, making the world a more dangerous place for generations to come. One of the the greatest statements of Jesus Christ is that "no one may come to the Father except through me". Why anybody of sound mind ,in the Western world would want to voluntarily become a Muslim is beyond me.That religion is in turmoil.All one hears is violence and threats of violence from it's adherents.This kind of behaviour should not be expected from religious people.All these cliches about 'religion of peace'.It's more like a death cult by all appearances.

I think it's got a lot to do with clothing and accessories. Each good muslimah has her hijab, and more, if she chooses to go full "grim reaper". She can look as slatternly as she wants to--it's all covered up. It's Sunnah.

Every good muslim has his little hat, and more, if he chooses to go full "man dress" with his look. He knows no one will question his all important manhood, because he has a beaver pelt growing out of his face.

Any muslim/muslimah who can afford one has a magical prayer mat, a schedule of prayers, and a set of postures to use, with the mat. It's Sunnah.

There are rules for everything, and everyone knows how everything is to be done. For some formerly non-muslims, this must be reassuring, indeed. There are no decisions to be made about anything, so, unless a rule is broken, there's no personal accountability. There's no embarrassment, no remorse, no reason to feel bad about anything.

A person can have personality disorders, without being insane. Psychopaths are completely sane. Unfortunately for them, yet fortunately for us, not all psychopaths are creative, and many "get into Islam" to help them fill in the blanks.

Of course, in the world of Islam, the very worst insult that can be hurled at a person is to call that person "Jew" (Yahood). People such as Edward Lane, who lived in Muslim-dominated Egypt in the early 19th century, recorded this fact from personal observation.

GMcal thank you for your reply. I am aware that belief in any deity is an act of faith. I also know there is no definitive proof of a human soul. That belief is also one of faith.

My point was that Mr. Hate has no proof that Islam is a "religion" based in fact, it is his belief that the sexually deviant seventh century political despot Mohamed spoke to an "angel", with a message from Allah, who prior to Mohamed was the Pagan Arabian Moon God.

There is also no proof that there is an afterlife. There is no evidence that personality isn't annihilated at the point of death. So his desire for an "unbeliever" to suffer anything after death, is silly.

Although, unlike the hate mail author, I do not lust after Mr Spencer’s blood, I have often wondered why it is necessary to weld together two such disparate political projects as the struggle, which I support, against jihadism, and advocacy for Israel, toward which I harbour mixed feelings. I think it would be a good idea to split Jihad Watch in two: the part that struggles against jihadism and the part that promotes Zionism and the State of Israel. People would be free to belong to both groups, to one of them, or to neither.

One of the reasons why I think anti-jihadism and pro-Zionism form an unlikely combo is that the Israeli government played a major role in the development of Hamas in the Gaza strip. While the Israeli occupation authorities were harshly quelling Fatah demonstrations, they turned a blind eye to fundamentalist Muslims storming feminist bookstores and other left-wing sanctums. The racist Sheikh Yassin preached his message of hatred for years, unmolested by the Israelis, at the same time as moderate Arab preachers who espoused reconciliation with Jews were deported from Gaza.

You're correct to observe that the documented use of the word 'Jew' as an extreme insult by Muslims in Egypt, before Herzl had even been born, rather militates against the myth of Muslim 'tolerance'.

It also neatly scuppers the common misconception that Muslims hate Jews because of the state of Israel, or because of Zionism.
