Two peace-loving Gaza rockets hit Israel

But remember: they sincerely want peace! "2 Gaza rockets hit Negev; no injuries," by Shmulik Hadad for Ynet, September 29 (thanks to all who sent this in):

Two Qassam rockets fired from northern Gaza Tuesday evening landed in open areas within the limits of the Eshkol and Ashkelon Beach regional councils. There were no reports of injury or damage.

The first rocket was launched at around 7 pm. The "Color Red" alert system sounded, and security forces locate the rocket's landing site near an Eshkol Regional Council community.

The second rocket, which was fired by Palestinian terrorists an hour-and-a-half later, hit south of Ashkelon.

The rocket attack on the Ashkelon area was the first in two months. "I am not ruling out the possibility that Hamas is testing our nerves and level of preparedness," Ashkelon Beach Regional Council head Yair Farjoun told Ynet, "Our response must be swift and powerful. We cannot allow the current situation to continue."...

Yep.

Israel is between a rock and a hard place at the moment. Not only do they have to deal with Quassams landing wherever from Gaza, to Hizbullah in the north, to Iran readying to build or buy nukes if they haven't already and of course, all of the rest of the "friendly" local countries plotting against them...

Now--

Add to this jolly mix a President of the US who believes his "two state solution" is the most important thing going on in the world, when neither the "Palestinians" (Arabs) or the Jews want it. The Jews will not trade land for peace again, it has never worked and the Palestinians have never lived up to any agreement it has ever signed with Israel before.

When we are fending off terrorist attacks at home at an ever more frequent pace, when unemployment is through the roof, when Iran threatens not only Israel, but Russia and Southern Europe and others with their display of missiles yesterday, and the "just in time" disclosure of the "other" secret nuclear facility they've been working on for years buried under a mountain, (that we knew about) Obama is talkin' about global warming as Pam noted.

Not a word about Darfur, Somalian piracy, the state of the global economy--global warming was his issue. A laughing stock of all the Arab countries he strives so hard to make them like him. He doesn't get that they look at him and think, no problem, he's a weakling, we can do what we want. No, I think if we are going to make any traction it will have to be with the assistance of the Republican Party.

All we can do is open as many average people eyes as possible to the threat, and get them to start making phone calls and writing emails, filling out online petitions about the issue to their representatives--that may light a fire under lawmakers butts and "encourage" them to take this more seriously.

This whole thing is time sensitive. We no longer can afford to wait, our kids and our grandkids need us to do the right thing, and that means all of us. Some will do things they can, others different things, but the job must be done.

Let me know what you think people.

Will this make the news? No.. Only rockets from Israel make the news.

Considering the muslims think the whole world is under jewish control, the jews aren't doing very well with propoganda.

But the muslims sure are. There every whine and whiny makes the news. The bad stuff is never islams fault, even though islam totally controls their life.

I'll start watching the mainstream news again if they ever start reporting these attacks when they happen.

cause the goverment does t bomp these assssssses
the goverment do nothing
and world does t understand it next it be you
we need to ask goverment of israel to bomp bomp again and again and again til they scream bomp again ones more
they don t

I personally feel that Israel should return the favor (eye for an eye ........ rocket for a rocket). What are neighbors for, anyway?

Agreed, tanstaafl. I've suggested before that for every rocket fired from Gaza into Israel, the Israelis should fire an artillery round into Gaza. And if the frequency of rockets rises beyond a given number, say 5/day, the Israeli response should rise to 2 rounds/rocket.

In addition, they should systematically curtain bomb from the border towards the beach, strip by strip of land, slowly turning Gaza into moonscape. This way, there would be a landscape record of Hamas’ refusal to join civilization and wage their pitiful ideological war.

That is now official policy it seems from Jerusalem. Every time they shoot a missile Israel is now reciprocating, this time they bombed successfully several rats tunnels to Egypt.

The general feeling in Israel recently is to fight back. Glad Bibi is in charge.

Look for the numbers of rockets fired by Muslims to increase.
