As noted many times here, Barack Obama has never shown much respect for the freedom of speech, or any interest in protecting it -- quite the contrary. However, he shows no interest in restricting genuine and vile hate speech on his own website. "Barack Obama's Anti-Semitic Website," by Pamela Geller at Big Government, October 17:
During the 2008 presidential election, Barack Obama's website, Organizing for America - over which Obama has editorial control -- played host to a series of vile anti-American, Jew-hating posts and pieces. It was overwhelming. There were numerous, heinous calls for Jewish genocide and incitement to hatred. And it is happening again, right now, on the official website of the man who is supposedly the leader of the free world.The site was and is closely policed. The site moderators remove material that they consider to be "disrespectful to our other users" and to "detract from a welcoming community where all people can engage in positive discourse." What they find disrespectful can be interesting: once during the campaign a conservative blogger, Bill Levinson, posted a blog on Obama's website consisting entirely of a series of quotations from Obama's own book, Dreams of my Father. Obama's team did not approve of their standard-bearer's words, and so Levinson's blog and account were deleted from the Obama site in just under 36 hours. That's right, Barack Obama's website banned Obama's own words. But the most disgusting anti-semitic ravings remained on the site, along with blogs advocating anarchy and the overthrow of the United States Congress. [...]
Continuing the lies and blood libels, the post claims: "Worse than the Nazis Israeli forces used to invade peaceful Palestinian towns, execute men, women and children in cold blood everywhere and anywhere they encounter them, dynamite their homes on top of their residents, and finally demolish the whole town making room for new Israeli colonies." It charges that Israel pursued "a pre-meditated genocidal plan" against the Palestinian Arabs.
Suffice to say that this entry passed muster with Obama's moderators and is clearly acceptable to Obama for America.
Why hasn't Obama stopped the terrible hate speech he was hosting on his site? This has been going on for well over a year. And it continues. He knows the anti-semites post these blood libels on his website. So why does he retain the platform as President of the United States? It's evil. Why does he encourage it with his silence? Is Obama an anti-semite? By his fruits we shall know him, and so we know him.
Why am I not surprised?? Another nail in his political coffin...The 'birthers' need to prevail because that's the only way to get him out and erase everything he has done...

The comments on JW are not totally unmoderated, but are "mostly" unmoderated, with comments that are off topic, offensive, slanderous, or otherwise annoying standing a chance of being deleted. Marisol does a good job of getting the most egregious posts deleted fairly quickly - and with a sense of humor. She is a treasure.
Not surprising since he was educated by people like Reverend Wright who is raving bigot and anti-semite. Then there are a host of other toxic people he was friends with during his early years, from Ayers to Khalidi.
And why does the site in question not take down such vile anti-semitic rantings? Because it is what many liberals believe. There is a very, very strong anti-semitic streak in them and the more Marxist/Socialist in their political orientation the worse it is.
If I was a Conservative Jew, there are a couple of things I would really worry about.
1) Obama's Leftist base, is very anti-Semitic and anti-Israel to the point of being psychotic about it.
2) Obama seems to be more than happy to curry favor with the Muslims in both domestic and foreign policy arenas.
3) Obama has no problem kow towing to dictators as in the instance where he refused to meet with the Dalai Lama because the Chinese dictator ordered him not to. If I were Israel I would be very worried should a war break out, American support may not be forthcomming should that occur.
Sorry, but there's a huge difference between the JW site and Hussein's Orwellian, totalitarian, White House site.
I don't fear being put on someone's "enemy list" at JW. But, a White House, this current White House, site? Any site of Hussein's? Oh, yes. And how.

About the significance of that particular phrasing -- "the freedom of speech" -- whole articles have been written. It's akin to the "etc." that became the subject of a once-celebrated article by Maitland.
Most of the Leftwing and radical policies of Obama's 'Czars' and other advisors can be laid at the
table of supreme jerk Valerie Jarrett. People need
to know that Jarrett is a pro-Arab and pro-Muslim Leftwing south Chicago hustler. Jarrett's father worked in Iran
under Mohammad Mossadeq as a rural doctor which should already tell you Jarrett's leanings. Her mother and father
were activists and followed the Bill Ayers and Noam Chomsky

Jarrett is a strong believer in a 'Third Worldist' approach
to the global affairs and she has (to paraphrase Bernard Goldberg's great book) a "Slobbering love affair.." with the United Nations. She is the one who hired anti-Israel whore Samantha Power who is a merely a smaller version of Jarrett, but they share the same world view. From the moment
he stepped foot in the Senate, Hussein Obama has been running a SHUCK AND JIVE shell game with America. He has relied on White Liberal Guilt and Minority Entitlement
Rage to deflect any criticism of his associations. Almost all who worked for (or even voted for) Obama were so desperate to be SEEN TO BE TOLERANT AND PC that they forgave
