One would hope that American Jews are now reconsidering their support for Obama in large numbers. "Official: Obama 'disgusted' with Israel," by Aaron Klein for WorldNetDaily, October 16 (thanks to all who sent this in):
JERUSALEM - U.S. officials in recent days expressed to the Palestinian Authority that President Obama's administration is "disgusted" with Israel, a top aide to PA President Mahmoud Abbas told WND in an interview.
Nimr Hamad said the White House was disgusted that Israel is refusing to halt all settlement activity as a precondition for re-starting talks with the PA over the creation of a Palestinian state. "Settlement activity" refers to Jewish construction in the West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem.
Hamad repeated that the term "disgusted" was used more than once in recent meetings with U.S. envoys to describe the administration's attitude toward Israel. Hamad did not name the U.S. envoys using the terminology....
No surprise here. Obama is full of bad ideas, undercuts allies and sucks up to tyrants. Really, for anyone reading this who voted for Obama, WTF were you thinking? McCain would have been nothing special but compared to the Anointed One he would be far preferable right now as the guy in the Oval Office.
"disgusted" with Israel.
Sounds like Muslim mantra to me.
The eternal victim complex.
Is the White House a Mosque now?
There's a lok of disgust in the world...I for one am disgusted with the obambi administration and it hasn't even been a year yet. I need to see if I can get some blood pressure pills or something if I'm going to make it through the next few years. And to the people that did vote for this clown...you looking for hope and change yet?
"Really, for anyone reading this who voted for Obama, WTF were you thinking?"
Hear, hear!
"McCain would have been nothing special but compared to the Anointed One he would be far preferable right now as the guy in the Oval Office."
Agreed, Wellington.
Obama is the result of American education indoctrination. Not one person who voted for him had a cogent thought in their head. It remains that way to this day. I have never witnessed more superficiality in any person before Obama. His deep bow to the king of Saudi Arabia clinched it for me. I knew then that this man was the greatest challenge that freedom loving people would face in our great land. Unfortunately in his position he is looked upon by the world to set the trend, especially in the case of Israel. He will see to it that they are destroyed.
It's just INCREDIBLE!
You know what, Hussein? - I'm, We're, disgusted with YOU.
I didn't vote for BHO but McCain didn't impress me either. Would he REALLY have been that much better on this issue? I don't see how. He would have been too busy doing the American version of Prime Ministers Question Time in the Senate. We had two awful choices last year.
Dick Cheney was the best man for this situation but he didn't run. Too bad for America. Too bad for the world. They all wanted Obama. They got him.
OOOOOKAAY! While I do not find it implausible that an Obama representative just MIGHT use such terminology to PA Official I find Robert's credulity in taking it and running with it as gospel.
Didn't we just have a big hoorah about Limbaugh being accused of making a "racist comment" that didn't seem to have been actualy said?
Why would ANYONE believe a PA spokesman when he is talking to an Israeli???
Unless there is some confirmation from the U.S. side of this story I think it is beneath Robert to run it.
If it IS confirmed thoug he should go to town!!!
The sad part is that I could imagine Obama or members of his administration being "disgusted" with Israel. However, the source for the quote is a PA spokesperson and experience show they lie as easily as everyone else breaths. Therefore, I'm inclined not to believe this story unless it can be confirmed from a more reliable source.
Obama "disgusted" with Israel; has not yet registered any disgust with Iran
.....................
Nor has he registered any disgust with Iraq, or Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia, or Syria, or Egypt, or with the "Palestinians" themselves--not even with the genocidal Hamas regime in Gaza.
It seems that the building of "settlements" is the only real impediment to Middle East peace. Somehow, wanting to "wipe Israel off the map" just doesn't have the same warlike impact as erecting a new apartment house in Alon Shvut.
McCain would have been far better in many respects. He would have condemned what happened in Iran in June outright. He would not be presetnly throwing Israel uner the bus. No way he would have done away with the proposed missile defense systems in Poland and the Czech Republic as Obama did (and for nothing in return). No way he would have given the go-ahead for a joint American-Egyptian resolution in the UN mandating that countries criminalize so-called hate speech about religion.
Remember, McCain was immediate in condemnation of naked Russian aggression in Georgia back in August of 2008 while the Anointed One pathetically brought moral equivalency thinking to the matter by opining that both sides needed to step back from the present situation. McCain also would not have been spending America into financial oblivion as Obama is. President Bush did indeed spend too much and at times made FDR look like a financial conservative. McCain called him on it when Bush was putting forth 400 billion dollar deficit budgets. Now, Obama is putting forth a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit budget. No way in hell McCain would be engaging in such financial idiocy as Obama is presently. And think of the Supreme Court choices respecting whom McCain would have chosen versus Obama's predilections. Really, PMK, you have to be cynical to a non-rational degree to assert that there would be no real differences between an Obama Presidency and a McCain Presidency. I could go on but I think this is enough for now.
We can see the Obama Administration's attitude in so many areas, such as their support for the Marxist Zelaya in Honduras and making concessions to the Russians on missile defense that are unreciprocated. Ideology seems to trump reality with Mr. Obama.
Wellington, I very much agree with you that John McCain would have been much better than Barack Obama.
Oh, he definitely has his weaknesses--chiefly, that he has little understanding of the Jihad ideology. He is weak on border security, and probably would have done little to improve the situation. I imagine we would still be sending money to "allies" in the War on Terror such as Pakistan and even Saudi Arabia. As to Iraq and Afghanistan, I imagine he would have followed a course similar to that of George Bush--with all its pros and cons. He hardly would have been perfect.
That being said--while he may not understand the precise nature of the enemies of the West, he *understands that we have enemies*. This seems elemental, but I am not sure Obama believes this, at even the most basic level. Recently, the president's Communications Director Anita Dunn said that the White House would treat FOX News like they would *treat any opponent*, and seems to consider tea party protesters to be the real terrorists. Obama seems to regard administration critics as genuine enemies.
Meanwhile, he reaches out to our genuine enemies--the ones who actually seek our death and destruction. The first "foreign leaders" he contacted were Muslim dictators. He wants to work with Iran's Achmadinijad, despite his wanting to wipe Israel off the map, and oppressing and murdering his own citizens. I had thought that the situation in Iran following the fraudulent elections there might change his mind, but it appears not.
He is "disgusted" with Israel over their continued building od "settlements", yet seems to have no problems with Iran, or Syria, or the "Palestinians"--not even the genocidal regime in Gaza.
And--McCain would not have gone around the world, apologizing for America's strengths and greatness. He would not have done so while lauding the "contributions" of dictators and barbarians.
So--I imagine with a McCain administration that we would have had many of the same weaknesses and blindspots that we had under the last administration. Despite his likely failings, Jihadists would still understand that they had an enemy in John McCain.
I have to admit that that sounds pretty good to me about now.
Its my understanding that the bulk of American Jews are rather liberal in their politics and are probably unfazed by such comments.
Remember they were silent when Wright's 20+ year tuteledge of Obama came to light. They didn't care that the man was associated with a racist and hatemonger that was the black equivalent of David Duke or any screaming head from the Ayran Brotherhood.
Lets take another look at one of BHO's friends. Rev. Wright, friend and mentor for 20 years; friend of Farakan. Rev. Wright traveled to Libia to visit Kadifi. Anti-semites all.
How is it that this goes largely unnoticed. We are ALL known by the friends we keep. Israel must beware of BHO. BHO, just like Jimmy Carter, will cut them no slack. BHO is anti-semitic.
Dear Wellington, couldn't agree more, Obama sucks up to tyrants and kisses butts, and he's disgusted with the only democracy, the only civilised state in the Middle East. I've got an Iraeli-American friend who lives a couple of kilometers south-east of Jerusalem, he lives on biblical soil. I wonder whether Obama wants him and other residents to abandon their places and leave the cultivated soil to the uncivilised Palis.
One must remember that mr. obama spent his early education in an Asia school system and as such gave up Christian Ideals. This is just another example of his indoctrination away from the American and Christian way of life. This is addition to the Socialists giving him advise on how to be and act like a President
I'm scared really scared for America.
Not since Eisenhower have we had a president who truly stood up to the Zionists and put them in their place. Can Obama do it? One can hope, though I must admit I'm rather skeptical.
Thanks for that. :) As a proud McCain supporter, it pains me to see those that equate him with the President in terms of every single issue.
Perfect? Nope. But when it counts, he IS the man.
Meanwhile, our President continues to hope against hope (irony?) that the world will simply collectively join in a great campfire chorus and toast marshmallows together.
Except that such a large campfire would be detrimental to the environment, and may contribute to global warming.
Better stick with the microwave :)
Tell you WHAT,"Fairuz Fan",
LET'S STAND UP TO YOU!
You're either an Islamofascist Cyber-Jihadi who thinks He's going to wage Electronic Jihad on "Jihad Watch" while using a Taqyiaa "Christian" costume, or You're a DESPICABLE Patrick Buchanan /Mel Gibson type of "Catholic" renegade, using your WARPED distortions of Christianity to AID & ABET the Jihad and Jew-Hatred.
