Rifqa Bary is like a Mafioso's daughter who flees 'the Family' and runs to the police to give evidence ; or like a defector from Stalin's Russia or Mao's China.
She should receive the same level of heavy-duty protection (combined with careful background-checking) as such a one would have received.
The enormous energy that the Muslims have been expending in order to try to slander her name, and to get her back, at all costs, and therefore, to silence her, suggests to me that she may know things and that they are terrified she may 'spill the beans'. After all, they did send her (before her defection) to intensive study sessions...I wonder what those sessions entailed?

It has been a while since I have heard anything about Rifqa. Are there any updates? When will it finally be determined in whose custody she will remain?
I just watched a program on Forensic Files about a wretched Palestinian immigrant couple that murdered their daughter and then claimed that she threatened them with a knife and they killed her in self-defense. This incident occurred in the late eighties somewhere in the midwestern U.S. I was shocked to hear Middle Eastern experts explain with great accuracy honor killings and the concept of family honor in islam. One of the narrators compared these people to the Mafia, only not as lovable. They bragged about how easy it was to rip off Americans and cheat the IRS, and said they loved America because it was so easy to beat the system. They were one of most physically unattractive couples I've ever seen; he was slight, small framed, partially bald and looked about 75. She was huge with broad shoulders, long brown hair, weighed at least 275 lbs., and her age was indeterminable but she was much younger. As seems to be the case with so many corrupt, evil muslims, their hubris did them in. As evidenced in this program, many muslim immigrants in the U.S. think Americans are stupid, self-absorbed, and naive, and they believe they can get away with anything.
After the daughter's death, it was discovered that the Palestinians were under surveillance for suspected ties to terrorists and their house was bugged. The tapes ultimately revealed that the mother held the girl down while the father stabbed her to death. As she screamed and begged her mother to help her, the mother called her a "bitch" and told her to die. It was horrible! After the autopsy, the prosecutors knew the girl had been murdered because of the pattern of the stab wounds but were afraid that a jury would never convict parents of killing their own child. When the tapes were retrieved, they had an ironclad case. Both parents were sentenced to death but the father died before he was executed and the mother's sentence was reduced to life in prison due to a technicality. The father could have accepted a plea bargain which would have reduced the charges against the mother but he refused. The bastard wouldn't even help his own fat, ugly wife after she held their daughter down so he could stab her to death but that's ok, she deserves to rot in prison. They killed their daughter because she had a black boyfriend and a job at a fast food restaurant. She was an honor student in high school with a bright future. The parents were also afraid that if she left home, she might report their traitorous, terroristic activities to the authorities, but the feds were already on to them.
Honor killings have apparently been happening for quite a while in the U.S. and some people in positions of authority fully understand their religious and cultural motivation. Political correctness wasn't as bad twenty years ago but it sure puts the lid on the despicable practices and beliefs of muslims today.
Also known as The Project. I think we're neglecting to make references to this important statement. Even a blog comment here, and there, and everywhere, should help bringing the required attention to this master plan.
If this is the way the treat their daughter, imagine what they can in mind for the rest of us.
Can someone please explain to me why Rifqa can't become an emanicpated minor? That would be a comparatively easy way for her to separate from her parents.
