MOGADISHU, SOMALIA (BosNewsLife)-- Islamic militants have shot and killed a Somali Christian woman because she declined to wear a veil as prescribed by Muslim custom, Christians said in comments monitored by BosNewsLife Wednesday, October 28.Members of the Suna Waljameca group killed Amina Muse Ali, 45, on October 19 in her home in Galkayo, in Somalia's autonomous Puntland region, said Compass Direct News, a well-informed Christian news agency.
Ali had told Christian leaders that she had received several threats from members of Suna Waljameca for not wearing a veil, symbolic of adherence to Islam, Christians said. She had said members of the group had long monitored her movements because they suspected she was a Christian.
Ali, an orphan and unmarried, in 1997 joined the Somali Christian Brothers' Organization, a movement also known as the Somali Community-Based Organization. She had been an active member of the underground church in the Lower Juba region, Compass Direct News reported.
She earlier worked with the Belgian contingent of United Nations Operations in Somalia as a translator and played a key role as a translator during a peace conference aimed at bringing together warring clans in the lower Juba region.

Does Barack Obama think that Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Wafa Sultan and Nonie Darwish, who fully support the effort, by the French government, to ban the wearing of the hijab in the public schools of determinedly laic France, should be punished as among those who "would deny" as he puts it so bizarrely, the "right of women and girls to wear the hijab"?

The veil, the burqa, any sort of "Islamic dress" for woman should be banned in non-Muslim countries. The president is dead wrong on this issue.
1) This sort of portable tent restricts a women's ability to gain enough Vitamin D through her skin. As a consequence, her children are more likely to be born with ricketts.
2) On many occasions, Muslim men don the burqa to evade the police and military. It is an easy disguise to put on to conceal a jihadi's appearance. Women jihadi's can hide explosives, ammo, or weapons under "Islamic dress" and move about freely in the civilian population.
3) "Islamic dress" is enforced by degree and extreme punishment (as seen in the example above) The only reason muslimahs "want" to wear it is to avoid being killed or labeled a prostitute. Those reasons are invalid in civilized non-Muslim countries.
"Islamic dress" should be banned as a matter of public health policy, security policy and as a matter of inequality between men and women.

I know you remember the "No Irish" or "We Don't Hire Irish Here" signs against our ancestors. muslims don't deserve that recogntion on the grounds that their religion pre-disposes us to their subserviance. So even recognising their existence negates our very own,at the behest of their beliefs. So what should be done? Anything islamic including the people "should" be swapped for GOOD Trustworthy Christians from muslim countries until "islam" sorts itself out.Where is our compassion for our own?
