I'm starting to think that you are a 'cyborg' or something.
No stuttering, total clarity of thought, fluid citation of Koranic verses.
It seems to me that the interviewer is well aware of the situation and is asking for help and you obliged.
Having been on on both sides of the wall in Germany in the 80s, the Germans are the last people in Europe I'd want to have against me - slow to anger, yet methodical and dedicated.
Your quotes at :40, political and social system
1:31 there is no peace for anyone but fellow Muslims
4:00 should be pressed to make a choice
are classic.
That was really great, succinct and to the point. You give all the freedom lovers hope. But as for Geert Wilders I hope he'll become president of the United States of Europe. We need him all over Europe, not only in one country.
Well spoken, Robert, agree 100% with Epistemology, clear, succinct and to the point.
Also agree with Jew_lover above re the interviewer. Note how at the end he says "thank you, great, really great", as if what you've just said is what he's been hanging out to hear....
Well done!
Excellent video, Robert.
You know your Koran better than many Imams.
Good points about changing the verses of the book to take out the political and social aspects of the book.
Then it may truly be a "religion of peace".
Thanks!
And "efoc", keep practicing. You'll get there someday.
If you wrote as many books as Robert has on the subject you'd know it backward and forward as well.
The Koran! well, come put me to the test-
Lovely old book in hideous error drest-
Believe me, I can quote the Koran too,
The unbeliever knows his Koran best.
And do you think that unto such as you,
A maggot-minded, starved, fanatic crew,
God gave the secret, and denied it me?-
Well, well, what matters it! believe that too.
(Omar Khayyam. 1048-1131)
Would that more unbelievers today knew the Koran, like Robert.
Qur'an 9:73 - "O Prophet! Strive against the Disbelievers and the Infidels! Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey's end."
"Kill non-Muslims wherever you find them. Lie in wait and ambush them, seize and capture them using every stratagem of war (for example, political, economic, propaganda, population explosion). If they convert to Islam and pray and contribute to the cause of Islam (Jihad), let them go." (Koran 9:5)
"Non-Muslims MUST convert to Islam or they will be killed." (Koran 48:16)
"Fight the people of the Book (Jews and Christians) and extort money from them." (Koran 9:29)
"Mohammed, the messenger of Allah, and those who follow him (Muslims) are merciful to one another but harsh to the infidels (non-Muslims)." (Koran 48:29)
"Do not make friends with inferior people (Jews, Christians and all non-Muslims)." (Koran 3:118)
Absolutely brilliant, except one thing - I am quite sure that the solution Robert proposed "instituting programs in mosques and schools ... that teach against these aspects of Islam" would not work.
"I am quite sure that the solution Robert proposed "instituting programs in mosques and schools ... that teach against these aspects of Islam" would not work."
Four reasons why this kind of phrase of expectation from Muslims is flawed:
1) Not only would it fail to work,
2) it would give Muslims a stealthier way to insinuate themselves into the fabric of Western society.
3) And furthermore, the implicit expectation it holds out tends to perpetuate our Western PC MC mentality of trying to find hope in Muslims to save us from their Islam,
4) and it tends to perpetuate the belief in a large (possibly majority) population of viably harmless Muslims -- when in fact, as Spencer himself has reiterated many times, we have no way to determine, sufficient for our purposes of collective safety, the difference between harmless Muslims and dangerous Muslims.
All that is left after these have peeled away the justification for such phrases of expectation is the rhetorical effect they have in our current situtation where PC MC continues to be the boss of public rhetoric on the issue. It is a slender, and risky, reed on which to rely; for it tends to strengthen the very same PC MC paradigm at which we, and most notably Spencer himself, are chipping away by excruciatingly, often infuriatingly, slow stillicide. The gamble with such rhetoric is to see who buckles under their respective paradox first: PC MC, with its paradox of dogmatic tolerance of the outrageously intolerant; or the Pipesian/Spencerians/Glazovians, with their paradox of simultaneously recognizing the practical impossibility of reform while repeatedly calling for it.
Wow! Mr Spencer's ability to articulate so well on his feet is most impressive. I think it would not be a bad idea to replay over & over his responses and commit them to memory in order to be articulate ourselves in the face similar questions or challenge.
The Germans need to do more than sit back and hope. They need to get off their behinds and start rearing up their voices to their politicians, to the Muslims, that they will not be subjugated to islam.
They need a Geert Wilders. And they need to vote that person(s) into their political seats.
Hope is fine, but just to hope is just a waste of time without action.
Damn Mr. Spencer,

Great Job Sir,
Jew Lover Out
Dear Robert,
That was really great, succinct and to the point. You give all the freedom lovers hope. But as for Geert Wilders I hope he'll become president of the United States of Europe. We need him all over Europe, not only in one country.

I wish I knew Koranic verses by heart like you Robert.
People who love freedom need to realise how much of a threat Islam is to the basic freedoms we take for granted.
Excellent video, Robert.

Yep, "the imam was lying:"

Very articulate, Mr Spencer!
Great interview, problem couldn`t be outlined any clearer than that!
Well done!!
Stupendous... Mr Robert Spencer
It is a pity that you could not
speak German...
May God Bless, protect and guide
you, Robert..
Thanks be to God..
Hey Mr.Spencer your Koranic knowledge is almost as good as Obama's! Please keep practising! ;p
We love you dearly,
From Israel!
