Spencer on Fox and Friends

This morning, talking about the Rifqa Bary case.
.............

Great job! The more this story gets out to the mainstream, the better. Most of the MSM isn't covering this at all.

Robert, thank you for standing in the gap for Rifqa.

You're so good! You did a superb job of explaining why this poor girl is in dire jeopardy. I pray that God will protect her from the wrath and hate of islam and its diseased followers.

Great work again by Robert Spencer. Kudos to Fox News on this as well since the three major networks (which are hopefully headed to broadcaster oblivion) remain obtuse as ever where Islam's real intentions are concerned.

On a very particular note, which has much bearing on Rifqa Bary herself since her parents seem to be here illegally, does anyone know where she was born? If here in the US, she is a citizen even though her parents aren't. This could be huge if the case.

Mr Spencer -

Excellent! I liked how the female interviewer (I don't get this channel, dunno who they are) pegged CAIR just from your description. :)

But it will be tragic if she is sent back to Sri Lanka with her family.

To be honest, I don't like immigration, not from third world countries, not at all. And as an atheist, I am leery of Christianity, especially in its fundamentalist forms. However, this girl deserves a chance at living. Her parents can and should be sent back to Sri Lanka, but I hope she continues to hide somewhere.

Really, her mistake was going public. If you're going to hide, then HIDE, even if everyone thinks you're dead.

"does anyone know where she was born?"

She was born in Sri Lanka.

It is always GREAT seeing Robert on a major network (anywhere for that matter). He has such presents, very authoritative. Thank you for being who you are.

Thanks to Fox for their coverage on the Rifqa Bary Case.

My only complaint is I wish they could send down a more objective reporter who has some working knowledge on Sharia law instead of Phil Keating.

Thanks, champ, for that information. Not good at all for the girl or for the larger issue involved.

I am very gratified to see Robert Spencer getting more and more exposure on mainstream, mass audience outlets. Robert's warnings and reportage of those precepts of Islam that should be extremely troubling to non-Muslims, as well as to nominal, cultural Muslims who may be unaware of these precepts, are getting a wider and wider audience. Bravo. Let's hope this continues, and prevails against the forces of political correctness and cowardice that, unfortunately, still dominate.

Let's hope that lots of people who watched that show go and buy 'The Complete Infidel's Guide to the Koran'.

Then they will KNOW why Rifqa is afraid.

Shoutout to anyone who might have just come in here after seeing this clip - google 'Samuel Zwemer' 'The Law of Apostasy in Islam'. You can read the whole thing, online, for free.

Zwemer knew the Islamic world. He knew the language, the people, he lived and travelled there for decades. And he discusses all the texts, and the Islamic law derived from those texts, that mandate death for apostasy from Islam.

Or go to the Barnabas Fund website and look for Canon Dr Patrick Sookhdeo's new book, 'Freedom to Believe'. Order yourself a copy. That's ALSO about the Law of Apostasy in Islam. Dr Sookhdeo knows of what he speaks: he converted from Islam to Christianity, and he knows others who have done the same, that is, left Islam, and he knows that many of them are forced to live in hiding, fearing even that their own family members (parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins) might come and kill them.

And then there's Ibn Warraq's anthology, Leaving Islam. ('Ibn Warraq' is a pseudonym, adopted for safety's sake).

Rifqa Bary is in mortal danger. No matter what her parents or any other Muslim spokesperson might have smilingly or tearfully told FDLE, perhaps even at great length and very convincingly, she is in danger. It is perfectly possible that her parents might smile, and weep, and profess deep love for her, and then - the moment she is once more within their power - kill her. Just. like. that. Quite often, 'honor' murders take place after the victim, having managed to flee, is lured back out of hiding into the family circle by one of the family (say, the mother, or the sister, or the brother)...and then the trap is sprung. Or even if her own immediate family do not actually pull such a trick, given that she is a publicly-declared apostate *any* sharia-minded Muslim can appoint himself her judge, jury and executioner and kill her out of hand at the first opportunity that presents itself.

You're welcome, Wellington :)

Every day all over the Western world, Islam is revealing more and more the truth about itself -- we've just had five "Guilty" verdicts brought in for the longest Islamic terrorism -- jihad -- in Australia. Islam cannot stop revealing the truth about what it is and how it acts.
Thank you RObert for your clear talking about Rifqa Bary and her family. Let's hope they're kicked out of the US while RIfqa stays safely.

Rifqa Bary is very bright and has seen the light. No matter what, or where, there will be no turning back to that clearly decrepit ideology contaminating the mind of her parents. I cannot help to feel very sorry for the millions of innocent children who are unable to escape the suffering and cruelty brought upon the acceptance of the obviously evil false teachings of that homicidal, child abusing, war monger: mo.

Will the people who forced this familial return have anything to say if this girl is killed or forced to return to Sri Lanka? I suspect that there will be no comment, or something of a perfunctory nature said at most.

Excellent, Robert!
Great job on F an F!

If Rifka gets through this safely you and Pamela would have played a big role.

I don't always get to watch this show because of time differences but so far I think Gretchen is really quite good at most of the things I have seen her cover.

Great plug for the book also :)

'It is always GREAT seeing Robert on a major network (anywhere for that matter). He has such presents, very authoritative.'

Now I understand the secret of Robert's success at public speaking: He bribes the audience with presents.

Seriously, a good step in the right direction; that of enlightening the general public, ie millions of Fox viewers.

Awesome interview, and well spoken, Robert. You got the main reports across succinctly and with authority. I hope a few more people are now awake as a result of that.

I am never disappointed with the amount of detailed information Spencer manages to concentrate and present under television's extremely limited time constraints - despite every attempt to interrupt or redirect - he remains on point and intensely focused. Always the gentleman, his message is so compact and fluid, it makes it difficult to edit his message. His skill is also a likely reason why so few feel competent to oppose him directly in debate.

Rifqa is incredibly fortunate to have Spencer & Atlas & their follower's support. God bless them all.

Clarity...Thanks Robert...Fox has redeemed itself, at least some...Phil Keating was ticking me off...He and other kufrs act like it's their sacred duty to get Rifqa back to her parents...Possible deadly results are ignored or even denied...I can understand this from CAIR and the Noor mosque, but from kufrs? It would seem to me that those kufrs with confused emotions, and lacking intellect, who are also unskilled in the craft of Islam...should butt out...They have zero business gambling with Rifqa's life...

This is why I love FOX news and probably why the Obama administration hates FOX news. FOX covers the stories that the state run media ignores. That could be why FOX has more viewers than the other cable news networks combined. Thanks Robert for doing your part to keep Rifqa's story and Rifqa alive. Also enjoyed seeing CAIR's status as an unindited co-conspirator in a terror financing trial mentioned. That was just too delicious.

Excellent post as usual, DDA.

It continues to amaze me what dhimmis in the west continue to insist that the truth (Rifqa Bary will be killed by her parents or a member of the ummah) is some sort of exaggeration spend by "Christian religious fanatics".

It is clearly written in the Qur'an, yet people who reveal this knowledge are continually treated as "the boy who cried wolf".

Robert, I thought this was one of the most effective interviews you've ever given. Concise and to the point, the average Joe American will wonder why the FDLE's report came back and completely denied what Rifqa has been saying. You're right, something doesn't add up. As Pamela Geller says, if there was no abuse and no death threat from the father, why on earth is Rifqa so terrified?

The added bonus here is that you shined a little light and a lot of doubt on CAIR, as someone above said, the female newscaster jumped right on it and identified them by their acronym and now with Dave Gaubatz' book coming out, the puzzle pieces are all fitting into place. Although CAIR has already promoted the use of the word "witch hunt" by kissing the butts of certain traitorous congresspeople who are "appalled" that we are saying mean things about Muslim Americans here: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=113107

Earth to those congressidiots: you can whine and obfuscate all you want, but this time, when it comes to CAIR, we've got the goods. Cold, clear, methodically application of the truth. That will finally be CAIR's downfall and hopefully, any congressperson's who sides with these traitors.

Robert Spencer

Thank you for being, for this relative newcomer to the issues surrounding political Islam, an eloquent and persuasive voice amid the clamours of naysaying ignoramuses who would have us all think that 'Islam is peace'.

Yours is an important voice, of which I would like to hear more.

Styrer

Clear, concise and articulate, excellent!
