A SYDNEY couple has withdrawn their two children from a public primary school, claiming their 11-year-old son was bullied by Muslim students because he ate a salami sandwich during Ramadan.Andrew Grigoriou said yesterday he complained to the school and to police after his son Antonios was chased and later assaulted by Muslim students after a confrontation over the contents of his lunch, The Daily Telegraph reports.
Antonios, a Year 5 student of Greek-Australian background at Punchbowl Public School in Sydney's southwest, said he and a friend had to be locked inside the library for an hour after being chased by a group of Muslim boys offended by his choice of food while they were fasting.
The Grigoriou family said the following exchange took place:
Muslim student to Antonios: "Why are you eating ham, it's Ramadan?"
Antonios: "My mum packed this for lunch today."
Muslim student: "Don't eat that. How can you eat pig, it's disgusting."
During the confrontation a Muslim boy allegedly accused Antonios of saying: "F--- the Muslims" but Antonios denied swearing.
Always with the attempt to claim provocation and victim status.
Mr Grigoriou said he removed his son and a younger child from the school on Tuesday after the boy was punched in the eye and kicked in the legs by a Muslim student....After the salami sandwich incident a student described as "the ringleader of the group" was suspended from the school. The department said that the school had "ongoing cultural and interfaith awareness programs to improve understanding among students of events like Ramadan and Christmas".
Yeah, that'll work.
Other parents also complained to The Daily Telegraph about bullying at the school and claimed victims received too little protection.One said her 12-year-old son was scared to open his lunch box at school because he was harassed about what is in it. "He has been bullied from day one ... about being a Christian and about the hot salami in his lunch," she said.
"My boy has a Greek background ... the bullying is extreme.
"He has been called a fat pig and hit on the back with a stick."
Another mother said her young son refused to go on school excursions for fear he would be bashed.

I'm back from Thailand, safe and sound, no trouble there at all in my case :)
I met so many Aussies there who are fed up to the teeth with the Muslims who are invading (as one put it) their country. It was wonderful to talk to like-minded people, who are more than aware of the problems that Muslim immigration will bring, as the story above illustrates only too well. I always broached the subject with them, and then became embroiled in a conversation about the problems they are causing in the whole world. Likewise with the many Siberians I met there too (which blew me away, but is a good sign I think). They of course are fed up with the ones from Chechyna (sp?). When I asked one of them (a lawyer) what he thought of Putin, he told me that he thinks Putin is too much of a czar!
We went on a day trip to some islands (paradise if I've ever seen it!) and the island we stopped for lunch on was inhabited by Muslims. Of course, I raised eyebrows along with the Aussies, but what could we do? We had a sumptuous seafood BBQ lunch, really very good. We were all asked to don our shirts over our bathing suits, so as not to offend, which I readily did. The muslims who served us were really very nice, altho I must say I did look for an "out" and a hiding place, just in case, lol.
All in all it was a fantastic trip and I felt very safe the whole time. I would recommend it, it was cheap as dirt there and sunny and hot. And I rode an elephant :)

Would you say that your experience is similar to that of the U.S. (and the U.K. from what my friends tell me back there) in that despite the best efforts of the MSM trying to keep a lid on the moslem situation the general populace KNOW that there is a problem?
QE, yes I would agree with that. The whole world seems to be stuck on politically correct at the moment.
When we heard about the shootings in Texas we all had the same comments, it's the ideology. The spin we were getting over there from BBC, French news and HLN seemed to be that he was "troubled". I even found myself yelling at my TV as Wolf Blitzer interviewed psychiatrist after psychiatrist who all said that the shooter must have snapped. It was Wolf who kept bringing up the Islam thing, and he was right IMO.
I hope -- but do not expect -- that this story receives wide coverage in the Greek-language press, and especially receives attention in Greece itself. For various quite specific reasons, having to do with local leftists and their anti-American -- and, as the day doth follow night, their anti-Israel -- attitudes Greek journalists, and thus much of Greek public opinion, is absurdly favorable to the Arabs and thus full of apologetics about Islam.
So let this story have a salutary effect. Every bit counts.
The school principal needs to be told, in no uncertain terms, that this is not just any old bullying (which is bad enough).
This is Jihad. Jihad in the Playground: Muslims using insults, threats and physical violence to dominate non-Muslims whom they perceive as inferior, even as subhuman. If they are not stopped, fast, now, they will become *more* aggressive, and more violent, and sooner or later - as has happened already in the UK in a similar setting - a non-Muslim child will be lynched by Muslims, and the school will find itself dealing with a case of outright murder or attempted murder.
The Principal and the P & C and every other non-Muslim, parent or teacher, associated with the school, has to clamp down hard. The Muslim kids *have* to be told: put one toe out of line and WHAM, you cop serious punishment.
(I am not a big fan of corporal punishment in general, but I am old enough to remember attending a tiny two-teacher country school, where if the big boys misbehaved and mistreated the littler ones, or insulted a teacher, they got called into the Principal's office for six of the best with the cane - swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish! Frankly, if every time a Muslim kid at Punchbowl state primary school or in any other Aussie school got an old-fashioned caning every time they taunted or physically assaulted a non-Muslim kid, I think the problem would vanish).
This story is a good illustration of the fact that, no matter where they are, Muslims do not play well with others; it is also an illustration of the fact that some types of migrants (e.g. Christian Greeks) are fine while others - Muslims - are NOT.
A bit of background for those who might not know: Australia has a substantial community of people with Greek ancestry (most of whose families came here after WWII). They have assimilated and settled in and contributed, and while many maintain ties to the old country and proudly maintain aspects of Greek culture and practise the Greek Orthodox faith (and why should they not? Athens is, after all, one of the Pillars of the West, and the New Testament was originally written in Greek), they interact and intermarry freely with the rest of us.
I find it deeply disturbing - indeed, I am very angry - that an Aussie child of Greek Christian parentage and culture, whose ancestors suffered for centuries under the iron heel of Muslim imperialism before they were able to liberate themselves by sheer guts and determination, and whose family having come to Australia has been law-abiding and productive, should now be subjected to such appalling treatment by Muslims in an Australian school playground - that he and others should have been treated like dhimmis, subjected to contempt and violence, and that no-one seems to be doing anything very serious to stop it.
Final thought: I would be curious to know exactly what percentage of the school population is Muslim, and what percentage is not; and it might also be interesting to know how the adult Muslims behave toward their non-Muslim neighbours, of all backgrounds, in Punchbowl.
I hope the Daily Telegraph pursues this story and does not let it drop off the radar.
The parents of the non-Muslim children who were attacked, should refuse to shut up; they should take their case to the local Council and the Mayor and the local Members (state and federal) and the Education Ministers, both State and Federal, and even to the Prime Minister. They should jump up and down and yell and scream and make ten times as much noise as the Muslims, and they should make it very, very plain that anyone who panders to Muslims, and gives in to Muslims, will get no votes from *them*.
If the Muslim boys are fasting what are they even doing near students who are eating?

I should add that in Aussie playgrounds B. M. (Before Muslims) what generally happened at lunchtime was Basic Cultural Exchange, that is, Anglo-Aussie kid and New Australian kid eye off each other's lunches (each lunch appearing exotic to the child, and therefore far tastier and more interesting that that boring old stuff that Mum packed), followed by a swap - can I have yours if I give you mine? Then, sometimes, friendships followed, and visits to one another's homes, and birthday party invitations and the process of mutual assimilation and accommodation. I can still recall, too, the hilarious story from a Korean Australian (a devout Christian), describing his very first encounter with a Sausage Roll - a totally baffling object that he was almost unable to recognise as a Food Item - during his very first day in an Australian school that provided lunches for its students. But it would never have even occurred to him to insult another child for what they were eating.
Muslims beating up a local kid for having something in his lunch that they deem offensive to their lordly selves, is a major breach of this rule. Yet again: an illustration of the way in which Islam inculcates the rejection of Reciprocity.

What I don't get is, Ramadan was ages ago. But this incident is supposed to be a recent event. Is it an older event or are the Muslim kids making it up about it being Ramadan. And if it was about Ramadan why aren't they going on about him eating anything, let alone pork products.
I was walking in a shopping mall car park today and an older Middle Eastern man almost backed into me as I walked. I had to thump on his car to stop him from running me down.
You know the only thing he was unable to say to me? "Sorry".
If this happened to my son I'd give my son boxing lessons and order him to punch the muslims in the nose if they harass him again.
I'd also find out who the Muslim kids are and then go to visit their parents and tell them that if they do not control their kids they will have to deal with me and my buddies personally.
Before doing that, you would be wise (in this hypothetical situation) to have held a meeting with *all* the like-minded non-Muslim parents, to make sure that 1. all the non-Muslim kids, especially your son's friends, had had similar training and 2. that if one non-Muslim kid stands up to the Muslims, the other (non-Muslim kids) should know to all rush in together to back up their friend and 3. that all sets of parents involved are prepared to back each other up, and each other's kids, both on and off the playground.
Because in England there was an awful case where an English kid thought he was agreeing to an old-fashioned one-on-one duel (a fistfight) with a Muslim kid, to settle their quarrel; but when the English kid turned up for the fight he was ambushed by a lynch mob of Muslims, many of them much bigger, who had been summoned from outside (older, adult and semi-adult relatives of the one who had with malice aforethought issued the challenge) and nearly killed by being beaten on the head with a hammer after he was down.
Muslims like to ambush, lynch and 'swarm' a hopelessly-outnumbered victim; but back off if faced by perceptibly overwhelming force.
So the non-Muslim kids would have to know how to combine, fast, to produce the overwhelming force.
I see some of the Muslim parents have now said that some "Christian" children provoked Muslim students by thrusting food or drinks in their faces during Ramadan. Hmm, not quite the same as being punched in the eye and kicked in the leg or having to find refuge in the library. Notice how they had to tell the readers that it was a Greek-Australian who was the victim. As if it mattered.
Let's play devil's advocate: they eliminate the "background" of the victim, and the poor reader might not know whether the victim was Muslim or non-Muslim. Notice how that is the distinction that naturally is drawn. There are really only two inferences: either it's a non-Muslim, and that explains why they would have the audacity, the audacity, to bring pork products during Ramadan. The other explanation is that it's an apostate Muslim, which would also explain the beating by the Muslim children.
That's why we have to know the background and faith of the victim.
We should find a way to write to him, and let him know he can become a lion of the West, and never bow to these savage subhumans.

Every Aussie high school that has 'Italian' as a subject, should have Oriana Fallaci's books in their Italian-language resource section...because they're a b*****y good read, besides being vital information. Throw in Magdi Cristiano Allam's two books - Viva Israele, and Europa Cristiana Libera - to accompany Signora Fallaci, on the Italian-language resource shelves of Aussie municipal and high school libraries, and you're not only giving the Italian language students books to read that are written, brilliantly and passionately, in standard modern Italian, but that contain things they desperately need to know.

The Muslim who nearly backed into you, and refused to say 'sorry' (as any non-Muslim driver would have done under the same circumstances) was obeying his religiously- programmed directive to humiliate you and punish you for your 'sin' of not being Muslim.
In the Sahih Muslim Hadith collection, they are actually *told* to shove non-Muslim dhimmis into the gutter.
Here is that Hadith as cited by the authoritative Muslim 'theologian' and Koran commentator, Ibn Kathir, in his Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Riyadh, 2000; vol 4, pages 404-407; interpreting Quran 9: 29. Reproduced in Andrew Bostom, 'Legacy of Jihad', p.129.
"Paying Jizyah is a Sign of Kufr and Disgrace
Allah said,
﴿حَتَّى يُعْطُواْ الْجِزْيَةَ﴾
(until they pay the Jizyah), if they do not choose to embrace Islam,
﴿عَن يَدٍ﴾
(with willing submission), in defeat and subservience,
﴿وَهُمْ صَـغِرُونَ﴾
(and feel themselves subdued.), disgraced, humiliated and belittled.
Therefore, Muslims are not allowed to honor the people of Dhimmah or elevate them above Muslims, for they are miserable, disgraced and humiliated.
Muslim {i.e. Sahih Muslim} recorded from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet said,
«لَا تَبْدَءُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى بِالسَّلَامِ، وَإِذَا لَقِيتُمْ أَحَدَهُمْ فِي طَرِيقٍ فَاضْطَرُّوهُ إِلَى أَضْيَقِه»
(Do not initiate the Salam to the Jews and Christians, and if you meet any of them in a road, force them to its narrowest alley.)"
Bully behaviour, active discourtesy, the behaviour of a strutting, sneering, domineering gangland thug: codified and taught as a religious ideal, forsooth!
And here is how it panned out in practice in 10th-century Muslim-occupied eretz Israel, as described by someone on the receiving end, namely, Salomon ben Jeroham, a Karaite Jewish dhimmi who lived in Jerusalem in the mid-tenth century.
Here is what he says, re the behaviour of Muslims toward non-Muslims, in an 'aside' in his commentary to the Lamentations of Jeremiah:
"What can you say about people [Muslims] who curse you when you greet them, and when you do not greet them, humiliate you and offend you?"

The contempt and bullying dished out by Muslims to non-Muslims, that Solomon ben Jeroham complained of in the 10th century, is precisely, eerily the same thing as we see in this report from an Australian playground in the 21st century, over a thousand years later, and precisely the same thing as you, 'payingattention' also experienced in an Aussie carpark; and it all flows from the codified vileness, the amoral supremacism, of the Quran and the Hadith and their authoritative interpretations as given by the likes of Ibn Kathir.
One of my neighbours, in our local shopping mall, with her twin boys in a stroller, reported an unsettling encounter with a tight little group of Mohammedan females in their slave rags, who deliberately walked straight at her and right over the top of her (rather than making way politely, as a group of Aussie women would have done). They were demonstrating, thus, in that small incident of blatant discourtesy in the public square (and they need not have walked directly at her as they did; there was plenty of room to choose a different path), their absolute rejection of the Golden Rule; their ingrained narcissism and sense of entitlement, their belief that they are not only entitled but indeed *required* to shove their inferiors out of the way, always and everywhere; that others must give way to them, but that *they* need never trouble to give way to anyone else.
When my neighbour told me that story (as we were walking our dogs together), at once I told her about Ibn Kathir and that Horrible Hadith from the Unholy Scriptures of Islam - 'Do not initiate the Salam to the Jews and Christians, and if you meet any of them in a road, force them to its narrowest alley'. You should have seen the look in her eyes as she 'got' it; as she realized that the behaviour she'd just suffered from, was not some random act of bad behaviour such as one might meet from anybody, but was most likely the result of conscious or unconscious obedience to explicit Muslim programming.
Clarification - what I meant above, was that a *non-Muslim* driver in the same circumstances as 'payingattention' described in his posting, who had nearly backed into a pedestrian, *would* almost certainly have fallen over himself or herself, to say 'sorry'.
