Egypt: Muslims burn Christian shops

Maybe Europeans should catch on to this.

Perhaps, if every time a Muslim raped (or was accused of raping) a European girl, the natives could go on a rampage, and eventually push the Muslims out that way. Considering how often Muslim on non-Muslim rape happens in Europe, from what I've heard, it shouldn't take too much time at all.

It is very tiring to hear the term "Christian" constantly bandied about in these situations. Just because a person is not a Muslim does not make them a Christian. Being a Christian is something very specific: A Christian is someone who has confessed Jesus Christ to be the Son of God and the only way of salvation for mankind.

And most obviously, a follower of Jesus would not be committing kidnapping and rape!

I always believed it was the Muslims who believe in arranged marriages to 10 and 12 year old virgins. Does that make them any better simply because they claim Allah says its ok? In most societies, it would be muslims that are considered rapist. Even here in America, we read occassionally of an arranged marriage of a 10 year old or maybe younger to some old fart. How dispicable can one society be when they are willing to treat their children like cattle to be sold off for a few pence.

I wonder if we should do the same when Muslims sexually assault our women? Burn their mosques, burn their shops?
How would they like a taste of their own medicine?

But the shops which were burnt down, their owners had not committed these crimes, even allegedly.

What interests me is that these rioting, lawless, violent, rabid fools are called "protesters" and "demonstrators".

When something is already illegal (rape) what is there to protest? Protest implies a desire for a change in the status quo. Do they want rape to be legal, in Egypt?

Demonstrators--what are they demonstrating with their riots? That's not demonstration, that's intimidation through violence.

Why? The "Christian" who allegedly raped the Muslim girl is incarcerated, so it's not as if the police haven't paid any attention to the matter.

Then there's the constant whining here, in the civilized world, about "backlash" upon all Muslims for the bad conduct of the few. Hello? Could this be a murky expectation of reciprocal evil--after all, that's how it works in the old country, isn't it?

How ironic. Egyptians Muslims have become notorious for kidnapping non-Muslim girls and forcing them into marriage and conversion to Islam. Egyptian police do little or nothing about it. Now some Egyptian Muslims hear a mere rumor about a non-Muslim, and presto, an animalistic Muslim mob forms and goes on a rampage against non-Muslims who have nothing to do even with the rumor.

What is it about Islam that conduces to mob behavior? The lack of concern for individual conscience. Collectivism can be based on a religious, or racial, or other political ideology. But whatever form it takes, collectivism tends to set loose the mob. Kierkegaard pointed out how the mob is characterized by a complete lack of responsibility. By merging in the mob, the individual spiritually throws away accountability and individual identity, and becomes anonymous, and therefore is set free to do any asinine or criminal thing. Actually, the internet to some extent brings that out in people, insofar as comments are anonymous.

Rejection of mob-mentality is one factor that makes it somewhat difficult for Western nations to act against Islam. Westerners have become a bit conscious of how mob mentality tends to categorize people in group terms, for example, "All Muslims are apes and pigs." Understandably, the Westerner of today typically resists saying or thinking such things, because he does not want to become part of a mob. How is he to resist a whole group of people (Muslims), without falling into some sort of mob mentality? It was relatively easy for many people to agree on resisting the Nazis. But Islam is much smoother, much stealthier, much more circuitous than Nazism. Islam bides its time when necessary, yields and bends strategically, does not always believe that a straight line is the shortest distance, and has great patience, which Hitler lacked. Where Hitler favored blitzkrieg, Islam slithers at least as much as confronts. Islam conceals its totalitarian and martial nature in a dense thicket of seemingly ambiguous religious doctrine, and employs religiously sanctioned deception to mislead non-Muslims. And Islam disarms non-Muslims also insofar as many Muslims are not very conscious of the doctrines of their own religion. Joe Muhammad down the street is often not very ideological, not fanatic, as far as can be seen. What harm can there be in him? Well, if there were just one or a few, that would be one thing. But over a billion people adhering to a religion that, when you look at the fine print, turns out to be a profoundly totalitarian project? Over a billion Muslims? And hundreds of millions of them seeking to live under theocracy and impose it on the whole world? In that light, Joe Muhammad down the street, however nice he may be, represents a risk as a member of a HUGE and dangerous cult, unless he publicly and consistently condemns certain notorious actions and statements of Muhammad and Islamic law, for example when Muhammad said, "Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him."

While Muslims in Egypt, or as we are prone to say in Canada, "E-gypt," here in Canada a man named Richard Warman, notorious among us for his part in suing people for their alleged "Islamophobia" through the so-called Human Rights Tribunals and Commissions, has this time turned his threats against a seventeen year old blogger in British Columbia, Walker Morrow.

I can't say that Warman will burn Walker's house down, but Warman is certainly trying (less drastic measures) to terrorize this young man; and to Walker's credit, Warman is failing. However, where Walker is defending himself with courage, many others among us are looking over our shoulders awaiting the 2:00 am knock on the door, jumping nervously as the floor creaks. by trying to terrorise a kid, Warman tries to terrorise the nation's bloggers.

This is absurd. Why would anyone rape an islamic woman when there are available so many barnyard animals, complete with clitorises?

Hundreds of Muslim protesters on Saturday burnt Christian-owned shops in southern Egypt...

Only hundreds? They must be slipping...Usually thousands show up to riot within minutes...I bet the sixty arrests were mostly Christians...

It is sad that America spends billions on Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan with the military but does nothing to support Christians in situations such as this. My prior comment was even deleted from this thread because I suggested using the military to defend the Christians in this situation and punish the Muslims who attacked them. Pretty soon we are going to have the same problem in Europe and eventually America if current trends continue.

When I was a kid in Egypt. A Muslim girl who lost her virginity and was sleeping with a bunch of neighbor boys accused a poor Christian man of raping her because that is the best cover up as she will not be branded a slut if the accused is a Christian. Her family and the whole neighborhood know what is the truth but the poor Copt was tortured in unspeakable ways as he refused to embrace Islam and marry the girl. I never knew what ever became of him, but it was not pretty, I am sure.

I don't know what to think about this.

It is muslim behaviour to kidnap a young girl. I just cannot see Copts doing this. The most that one can say about this, if it actually true, is that their Weltschauung has become islamified. It certainly is not Christian behaviour.

Of course, if he did commit this crime he should be prosecuted for it. However, I have got to the point where I do not believe anything the muslims say. And muslims in Egypt are notorious for kidnapping Copt girls and forcibly marrying and converting them.

I just find it hard to believe that a Copt would be stupid/immoral enough to do this.
