True Islam, as we all know, is peaceful and tolerant, and Nidal Hasan's Islam is heretical, rejected by the Vast Majority of Peaceful Muslims.
Unfortunately, however, al-Ansari is Misunderstanding Islam in accord with a hadith of Muhammad that appears in Sahih Muslim, a hadith collection Muslims consider authoritative:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews. (Muslim 6985)

The pickings seem a bit slim. Note, especially, the sad reference to Egyptian swimmer Rania Alwani, nicknamed the Nile butterfly. "She won several international & Arabic medals & she has participated in the Olympics as well. However, she stopped now as she wore the veil."
In addition, the reference to the "Animal Kingdom" seems especially odd, since it is Muslims who are suspicious of keeping pets, and become apoplectic over the mere thought of dogs and pigs—and whose "Prophet" massacred dogs—starting with a small puppy under his bed.

It is also believed by most Muslims that the mere presence of a dog will disrupt their prayers. Recently, Muslim cabbies refused to allow passengers with seeing-eye dogs in their cabs. Then there the orgy of slaughter on Eid Ad-Adha, where animals have their throats cut in the streets.

Whereas, many Jews love animals. The main animal rescue group I worked with was run by a Jewish fellow.
Al-Ansqari said, "No, animals can sense things". In which case, I imagine they would steer clear of animal-hating Muslims as much as possible.
