FBI agents appeared to be carrying out a search warrant today at the Killeen, Texas mosque attended by Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Islamic Community Center of Greater Killeen.Local police were called to cordon off the area and told ABC News they were acting on instructions from the FBI.
Moments later, four agents, wearing blue gloves, began to search through a trash bin outside the mosque. An ABC News reporter saw agents empty the trash bin on the ground, sort through various odds and ends, removed their gloves, and then put everything back into the receptacle. They did not enter the mosque itself.
The agents gave mosque president, Dr. Mansoor Farooqi, a document on a clipboard which he signed.
"The FBI cannot comment," said Eric Vasys, a spokesperson at the FBI San Antonio office.
The FBI agents arrived moments after Farooqi and three other Mosque leaders had been escorted by an Army officer to the scheduled memorial services at Fort Hood for the victims of last week's shooting in which 13 died and more than 50 were injured.
The mosque president then returned to speak with the agents. He appeared to be upset about the presence of the FBI agents and told ABC News, "I humbly ask you to leave or I will have to call the police."...

The CMSA by the way has been working with President Obama to select 45 Muslims to work in the White House. If not intended for Secret Service or Military posts that means a Muslim representation in the White House staff SIX times the actual Muslim demographic.
If Military and U.S.S. posts ARE included (Doesn't THAT make you feel secure) then the new Muslim representation will ONLY be 3.5 five times the "fair" number.

Hasan was/is active duty Army, committed his crimes on a US military installation, against military/DOD personnel ... exclusive federal jurisdiction.
Army CID investigating/processing crime scene on FHTX.
FBI running leads off FHTX in the surrounding civilian communities and in other states.
Local PD's help out with securing the scene's when/where search warrants are served.
The case is tried by FHTX JAG, though maybe not at FHTX. Defense will probably move for a change of venue, maybe like Ft Chaffee, Arkansas.

First thing that happened after the jihadist's identity became known, should have been a massive (with overwhelming forces) surprise raid-and-search on the mosque he had been attending so regularly and devotedly; and of the mosque he had attended in his previous posting; and of the mosque his family attends/ attended.
Basement to attic search, particular attention given to possibility of hidden bunkers/ safes/ false ceilings/ false walls/ floors, etc; search conducted with aid of dogs trained to detect cadavers, explosives, and drugs, respectively; and also lots of big black police dogs to rattle the bruvvers and deter anybody inclined to riot. Seizure and forensic examination of all computers, financial records, and such like.
Undaunted, I hope you'll keep us updated with helpful information and interpretations like this as the investigation and trial unfold. It looks like there will be lots of material about this for months to come as the ACLU and the JAG and CAIR and DoJ and whoever decides it's their business to get involved duke it out. You're about the only regular here that I know of who can knowledgeably comment on such goings on from a perspective of experience.

I think this imam is confused. The FBI are law enforcement personnel, and would jurisdiction over such an investigation. Our imam does not seem to understand what a search warrant is. Also, why is this imam so terrified? Does he have something to hide?
As I read it, the imam was telling the *news crew* to leave.
