Fort Hood jihadist: "I'm Muslim First, American Second"

VAN SUSTEREN: All right, we already (INAUDIBLE) Sir, tell me, how did you -- how did you know the suspect? When did you first meet him?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE (FORMER CLASSMATE): Well, I met him as part of a master's of public health program at the Uniformed Services University (INAUDIBLE) health sciences at Bethesda, Maryland, in 2007 and 2008.

VAN SUSTEREN: How much contact did you have with him in 2007 and 2008?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE (FORMER CLASSMATE): Just about every day for several classes that we had together for about four or five months.

VAN SUSTEREN: Did he ever say anything peculiar, red flag-ish, that drew your attention?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE (FORMER CLASSMATE): Lots. Lots. The first thing that raised a red flag was one of our first courses together was an environmental health class. We had to do a project or actually a presentation at the end of that class, and we were supposed to do some kind of environmental health project. Now, people were talking about mold. People were talking about water quality.

Well, Hasan gave a presentation on whether the war on terror was a war on Islam. I raised my hand immediately. I questioned why that type of topic was being presented at because it was so off-base, and it was allowed to continue. His radicalism grow throughout the year. He would make frequent comments that he was a Muslim first and an American or an officer second, and also that, you know, Islamic law, Sharia law took precedence over the Constitution. And we all became concerned because he's a sworn officer of the United States and he's supposed to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. Yet his loyalties lied elsewhere.

VAN SUSTEREN: Did you make any complaints or any -- note it to anybody else, or did anyone -- did anyone else do that, or did the professor or teacher do anything, if you know?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE (FORMER CLASSMATE): Well, I made that particular complaint at that point in time. I have a very close colleague who engaged senior leadership at the university, a number of people, regarding this matter, regarding his concerns over these statements that he made.

MAjor Hasan's powerpoint presentation from 2007 has been posted at the Washington Post's website. In it, he claims that Koranic verses of abrogation allow for offensive jihad, and that fighting to establish an Islamic state is condoned by Allah.

This clearly indicates that Major Hasan must have been reading Robert Spencer's works, which also illustrate these principles. This proves the theory that Dr. Spencer's "research" is driving otherwise peaceful, liberty-loving Muslims, towards extremism and violence. Right?

Major Hasan apparently made several Islamic supremacist presentations for what were meant to be medical topics. One included evocations of non-believers in Hell, with boiling oil poured down their throats.

Not only was this completely outrageous; it wasn't just a one-time thing.

From the above interview it is clear his jihad trajectory started some time ago. Perhaps he is just waiting for a word from the ulema to put him out of his likely deeply unhappy state of coitus cunctatus?

MBR, I believe that according to the Sunnah, Koran 9:111 may be interpreted to allow for mujahideen who try to die while killing, but due to circumstances beyond their control, do not die. I.e., Allah gives them an A for effort, and whenever they do die after that point, even if it's years later and/or of old age, they are assured Paradise.

This is where i am glad for this site..

Because i learned of how islamic law takes presedence of ALL US laws..

Because i learned that once a muslim (always a muslim)
or you end up either in hiding or DEAD.. if you leave..

Because i also learned that while moderate muslims may want to live in peace with the west..

They dont legally (ok sharia law legally) have a leg to stand on because they are becomming friends with the kuffar wich is illegal..

America interned Japanese-Americans during WW II because they were not sure where their loyalties were.

We now have muslims in US Armed Forces who OPENLY declare their loyalty to islam first, US second, and not only are they not interned, not court martialed, nor kicked out - they are actually promoted. WTF?

One thing needs clarifying about World War II. By way of analogy to Islam, O'Reilly stated, "not all Germans during WWII were evil." True enough. Nonetheless America was at war with Germany. The Allies (RAF and USAF) bombed German cities, indiscriminately killing German men, women and children. America was at war with Germany. It needs saying, whether we want to believe it or not - though not all Muslims are evil - America and the West is at war with Islam; and not a war of our choosing.

Yes, and people should be SCREAMING for a new immigrant registry specifically for muslims as to country of origin,family and criminal background,financial status etc.,and WHO personally decided to let them in,short of banning all muslims altogether period. If and when that happens,the threat of terror only increases exponentially and all is lost. The ideology has much too much respect for its and our own welfare and "peace" of mind,not to mention a country on the verge of economic collapse.

As the facts are uncovered, our dhimmi government and dhimmi media continue to evade, lie, deceive and ignore what the majority of Americans know to be true.

Islam is at war with us. Don't take it personally, as Islam has been at war with the world since it's inception in the 7th century. To Muslims, the world will not be at peace until the entire planet is governed by sharia law. If we continue to emulate ostriches, the jihad will succeed. But if we "take arms against a sea of troubles", we will prevail.

Hopefully, a change in administration (2012 cannot come early enough) will mean a sea change in our war policy. But as free men and women, we know in our hearts that we must protect ourselves and our loved ones.

Be prepared. Hoard food. Make sure that your cars are in good running order and make sure they all have emergency rations and supplies in them. Buy a gun and take a training course in how to use it. Make sure everyone in your house can load and use the weapon. Make everyone carry a knife of some sort. Avoid crowds and crowded venues. Always know where you are. When sitting in a any public place, sit with your back to the wall and have a clear view of the door. Make sure you have an escape route (two is better than one) out of the building. Stay careful.

Always report any suspicious behavior to the police.

In response to Judith Miller and David Samuels' piece in the Los Angeles Times; they wrote:

"So now we must be clear: The United States is not at war with Muslims or Islam."

Spencer: "Indeed not. But many Muslims believe that they, and Islam, are at war with the United States. Our refusal to engage them on that level does not mean that this fact ceases to exist."
