Fort Hood jihadist’s coworkers saw warning signs, but said nothing for fear of seeming bigoted

Details here.

So this is what it has come to — this is the fruit of the long-term efforts by groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations and others, to stigmatize and demonize everyone who speaks honestly about the threat of jihad and Islamic supremacism. People are afraid to speak up about what they see, when they know it is wrong.

And all it cost this week was 13 dead and 38 wounded.

Having been freed of mind control by the various agencies that promote it. It leaves one to wonder how this perfidious regime ever was allowed to come about in the first place. Thank you Mr Spencer and all those who have contibuted to my freedom. To You and all those who contribute towards an understanding of the evil that is Islam you have my undying gratitude. Never surrender, never forget.

Americans are waking up and are outraged. CAIR and other ‘filthy’ organizations may have successfully attempted to cover up this massacre as they do so diligently with any other realistic feature that Islam seems to vomit into the societies they reside. However, the growing number of ‘mouths’ across the nation blessing this massacre in the name of the god of Islam makes the true message very real.

We’re not buying it. I for one will be contacting my legislator about this entire scenario and current immigration law. Then, I will contact other individuals to do the same. If we all do this on an individual basis CAIR cannot come to the ‘rescue’ of these silent but deadly influences against Islam. Contact your legislators NOW! Tell them to BAN SHARIA LAW, IMPLEMENT WRITTEN OATHS OF COMMITMENT TO THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OVER “SHARIA LAW”. If they don’t like conforming to these constitutionally backed ideologies they can find another place to live!

No one is asking them to stop praying to Allah. We’re asking them to stop KILLING US!! Take some responsibility!

Question: How long will take for Hasan to be executed after his court martial?
Will this massacre finally embolden people to denounce evil behaviour?

If you guys really want to help, go out and buy ten copies of Muslim Mafia and give them to your friends, family and associates. They will make great Christmas presents. Every book you buy contributes to the continuing work that Dave Gaubatz and his team are doing, like that excellent undercover work they did at CAIR, and also, to their legal fund. Now that they are being sued by CAIR, this will be a great opportunity to expose CAIR in open court. BTW, CAIR is not denying that they’ve done the things that Dave alleges and the CAIR documents confirm, so if we want to take them down we need to support the mechanisms that will do so.

CAIR: not an unindicted co-conspirator for long but soon to be an indicted conspirator.

Muslim Americans are INCAPABLE of taking responsibility for the actions of their own. They have submitted to Allah.

If we do not hold them accountable as the treasonous agents they are, this will be our country’s unraveling. As Americans we have always welcomed the newcomer; that time has passed. To be a Muslim is to be a usurper. Whether passive, active or murderous — they are bound to their god’s “covenant” of Ummah: ONE MUSLIM NATION.

No borders, no allegiances save to the god of hate.

From above…People are afraid to speak up about what they see, when they know it is wrong.

Shades of Adolph Hitler…Speaking up gets all kinds of people in trouble…We can’t have that…The enemies of speaking up, have lots of labels and sometimes violent action to keep you from speaking up…It used to be that ‘I don’t agree with what you say, but I will fight for your right to say it’…That has morphed into…’If I don’t agree with you, I got labels, and a few slaps’…Fear of these labels and slaps keep people from speaking up…This is infectious and possibly terminal political correctness…It does not infect everyone, some people have built in immunity and not subject to PC caused episodes of insanity. You can observe a whole parade of these psychotic episodes on cable, especially MSNBC, CNN, NBC, ABC, and FOX…Jerry Rivers on FOX is a good example of ‘contact PC infection’, leading to confusion and an altered state of consciousness …Protecting Islam at all costs has become one of PC’s leading banners…Foolish…but true…

This is something I find difficult to believe. From the news report:

“….There was the classroom presentation that justified suicide bombings. Comments to colleagues about a climate of persecution faced by Muslims in the military. Conversations with a mosque leader that became incoherent.

“After he arrived at Fort Hood, Hasan was conflicted about what to tell fellow Muslim soldiers about the fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, alarming an Islamic community leader from whom he sought counsel.

“I told him, `There’s something wrong with you,'” Osman Danquah, co-founder of the Islamic Community of Greater Killeen, told The Associated Press on Saturday. “I didn’t get the feeling he was talking for himself, but something just didn’t seem right…..”

Were America (God-forbid) to invade Israel – in an effort to force a settlement between Israel and her Palestinian Muslim enemies – what would be the response of Jewish soldiers who were ordered to deploy to Israel? Why would the co-founder of the Islamic Community of Greater Killeen – no doubt a devout Muslim – tell Hasan there’s something wrong with him, when many millions of faithful Muslims world-wide would commend him for his misgivings and perhaps for his justification of “martyrdom” operations against non-believers? It makes no sense.

  9. says

CBS News Sunday Morning announced that Major Hasan is off the ventilator but still in intensive care. As if we were losing sleep over the medical condition of a mass murderer. No news on the medical condition of the 30 wounded.

Also, a story on how Albanian Muslims were led by their faith to save Jews from the Holocaust. Forget Mother Theresa, the real saints from Albania are the Muslims?

  10. says

The Politically correct crowd has brought us to the point where so many are in denial. Denial of the fact that there are many Muslims living here in America that hate what american stands for. They hate our life style, they hate all of us infidels. The cover up of the Fort Hood hate crime has already started. Already we see reports of a lonely man with not many friends. A man who was mistreated by his fellow officers. So much BS is being reported to label Major Hasan as a sick man who simply went beserk after he snapped from all the pressure. The real facts are being avoided. Major Hasan was a converted Muslim, he talked openly about his disapproval of americian troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He spoke openly in favor of suicide terrorist. Major Hasan not only was converted to the Muslim religion, but he was indoctrinated into following through with the acts that ended with the death of many American soldiers and many more wounded. Major Hasan is guilty of a Terrorist hate crime. Lets not brush another Muslim hate crime under the rug.

“He should have been confronted about his beliefs, and told to shape up?” Wow, how could someone utter such a naive statement? How would confronting him with his attitude make him change his mind about what he so devoutly believed in? In order to do what he did, that “attitude or belief” had to be fundamentally hardwired into his brain. Confronting him with the “shape up or ship out” ultimatum would only have make him more stealthy in his approach. Political correctness is more dangerous that Islam.

Also, in a moment–quite possibly–geometrically worse than the widely criticized Bush reading to school kids 9-11 video, President Obama’s first words to the American Public after the Ft Hood attack were the following “shout out” to organizers of the event rather than a somber address to what is really important.

    SPEAKER: PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA

[*] OBAMA: Please, everybody, have a seat. Let me first of all just thank Ken and the entire Department of the Interior staff for organizing just an extraordinary conference.

I want to thank my Cabinet members and senior administration officials who participated today. I hear that Dr. Joe Medicine Crow (ph) was around, and so I want to give a shout out to that Congressional Medal of Honor winner. It’s good to see you.

    (APPLAUSE)

My understanding is is that you had an extremely productive conference. I want to thank all of you for coming and for your efforts, and I want to give you my solemn guarantee that this is not the end of a process, but the beginning of a process and that we are going to follow up.

    (APPLAUSE)

We are going to follow up. Every single member of my team understands that this is a top priority for us. I want you to know that, as I said this morning, this — this is not something that we just give lip service to. And we are going to keep on working with you to make sure that the first Americans (ph) get the best possible chances in life in a way that’s consistent with your extraordinary traditions and culture and values.

Now, I have to say, though, that beyond that, I had planned to make some broader remarks about the challenges that lay ahead for Native Americans as well as collaboration with our administration.

Then he took the time to address the attack

On September 11, 2001, a ticket agent named Michael Tuohey at the Portland, Maine, airport looked into Mohammed Atta’s eyes and said he “felt a chill”. He said he had a sense this guy could be an “Arab terrorist” (the use of “Arab” instead of “Muslim” explains the rest of the story). But then, says Michael Tuohey, he gave himself a “mental slap” and told himself “that’s not nice” to be so bigoted! And he waved Mohammed Atta through, and a few hours later some 3,000 Americans were dead.

Source: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7117783/ (thanks to Lawrence Auster who put up a post about this on his blog)

Note to the Elitologists at JW: Was Michael Tuohey an “Elite”? No. Just a ticket agent. Was he a raving Trotskyite or Marxist? Likely not. He might have even been a Republican voter, or a Center-leaning Democrat, or even one of the millions who don’t vote much at all and aren’t all that ideological about life, and just try to get through the week to the weekend.

But what we do know is that his heart and mind were suffused with PC MC, and he had become a voluntary self-policer of his suppressed rationality: when he saw an “ethnic” looking person whom his instincts told him was potentially dangerous, he stifled those instincts because of the greater good of avoiding “bigotry” and “prejudice” against ethnic people. That in a microcosmic nutshell explains the main reason why the entire West continues to be irrational about the problem of Muslims: the PC MC doctrine of Reverse Racism.

“Army chaplain seeks prayers for Fort Hood shooter”

FORT HOOD, Texas – Mourners were asked to pray for the man authorities say went on a shooting spree at Fort Hood and his family, and an Army chaplain exhorted his congregation on Sunday to draw together even if the gunman’s motives may never be fully known.

“Lord, all those around us search for motive, search for meaning, search for something, someone to blame. That is so frustrating,” Col. Frank Jackson told a group of about 120 people gathered at the post’s chapel. “Today, we pause to hear from you. So Lord, as we pray together, we focus on things we know.”

Jackson asked worshippers to pray for the 13 dead and 29 wounded that Maj. Nidal but also asked them to pray for Hasan and his family “as they find themselves in a position that no person ever desires to be.”

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 11/5/09) – A prominent national Muslim civil rights and advocacy group tonight condemned an attack on Fort Hood military base in Texas that left at least 12 people dead.
In a statement, the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said:
We condemn this cowardly attack in the strongest terms possible….. blah blah blah >>>

    Damned if you do =

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 10/20/09) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today hailed what it called a “victory for justice and civil rights” in the case of the six imams, or Islamic religious leaders, who said their rights were violated…

The backlash! The backlash! Has anyone ever seen it? What about the frigging ‘frontlash’ evidenced by the 14,000 plus Muslim terrorist attacks? How coome no one’s noticed the FRONTLASH yet?

  23. says

Now, if only CAIR and the other Islamic weasels would declare that anyone committing violence in the name of Islam (shouting “Allahu Akbar” is a pretty clear case :) will automatically be declared apostates from Islam, we’d be getting somewhere.

As things stand, CAIR and the other Islamists deserve a backlash. Orderly executed by our government and protecting agencies, aiming an intense laser beam of suspicion against anything and anyone labeled ‘Islamic’.

  24. says

I do understand why CAIR and their ilk ‘fear’ the backlash. Said backlash would – if properly executed – undermine their work and render their mission impossible. Their whole purpose in life would evaporate if we inoculated our societies properly against Islamization. Without granting the power to rule over others, Islam loses its attraction.

That, of course, is what CAIR fears more anything else.

Political correctness leads to conscious avoidance of the pathological jihadi temperament apparent in an Army major who is more loyal to the umma than to the United States.
Hassan is forced into crisis moment and chooses jihadi action over deployment to Afghanistan.
Is it really much more complicated than this? There may be more facts to come and some tweaking of the sequence of events, but it is pretty obvious to anyone with the most basic understanding of human nature what happened.

bon, you wrote: “Americans are waking up and are outraged….”

I wonder. Are we? I wrote yesterday, I am re-reading Spencer’s earlier book “Islam Unveiled: Disturbing Questions About the World’s Fastest Growing Faith.” Having bought and read this one a few years back, some of my prior ideas have changed slightly. I wonder if R. Spencer’s have as well.

On page 36 Spencer wrote, President George W. Bush encouraged a belief that terrorists are but a tiny minority among these hundreds of millions of Muslims. Was Bush (and now Obama) prudent to emphasize the existence of moderate elements in Islam? “No European or American in his right mind wants Osama bin Laden’s vision of a war between the West and the entirety of Islam to become a reality?”

But isn’t this in fact the reality? If the earlier attacks against innocent Americans were not acts of war, wasn’t 9/11 an act of war? At this juncture we are in what Amir Taheri and others call “asymmetric warfare.” Most Islamic states, including Iran, understand that the United States could obliterate them in a total war. Several years hence this may not be the case. We’ll see. “What matters,” according to Teheri, “is not the possession of power but the will to use it.”

To your point, “Americans are waking up and are outraged.”
David Pryce Jones wrote in the forward to Spencer’s book that he (Pryce-Jones) has called for a Muslim equivalent of an Andrei Sakharov and a Solzhenitsyn to democratize and modernize Islam.

“Robert Spencer doesn’t see much prospect of such an eventuality. He tends to believe that the West has so lost confidence in itself and its spiritual, cultural and political values that it is defenseless before violence – in which case absolutism will triumph and the Muslim fantasy of superiority will come true.”

I don’t know if this accurately portrays R. Spencer’s thinking then and now. Are Americans waking up and outraged? I am not nearly as sanguine as you.

Such abysmal ignorance in that New Orleans “Times-Picayune” Editorial. Just makes you want to cry.

And these are supposedly “intelligent” people – written by the Editorial page staff.

It has been a long process of philosophical and ideological corrosion starting, depending what you want to name as the initial milestone, somewhere between the Civil war and WWI. I incline to think of it as starting around 1900 — just for convenience.

Progressivism, Freudianism, Marxism, the popularity of Emanuel Kant and JJ Rousseau, the popularity of the pre-Marxist utopians, Fourier,St. Simon and their lot.

And it began a long march through the institutions.

Not only doctrines mind you, but methods of thought, mostly, deeply flawed methods of thought that would NEVER make it in the world of science and engineering, but which people can easily be fooled into applying to the arts and humanities where errors are harder to see and less immediate in their destructive effects.

At this point there is hardly a student, intellectual, artist or anybody else with a human expression sort of job that isn’t soaked in corrosive ideas and crippled by inadequacies of logic.

The history of Europe shows what the post-enlightenment progressive schools of thought produce in civil and political life.

And we are well established on that path.

Ask almost any educated person you know what they think of “from each according to his abilities and to each according to his needs” and you will hear almost nothing be sounds of approval and agreement.

There are a million fronts in this particular war, from the most erudite heights of philosophy to the most mundane business of news reporting, local politics and childhood education, and indeed, simple parlor room conversation.

Take a point and give it your best shot.

According to one of Fjordman’s fellow countrymen, this would probably be seen as the epitome of bravery – consider the following infamous statement (previously discussed here on Jihadwatch):

“Brave is sitting down calmly on a plane behind a row of suspicious-looking Arabs, ignoring your own fears, because you know those fears are irrational, and because even if there’s a chance that they are terrorists, it is more important to you to preserve an open and tolerant society than to survive this trip. Brave is insisting that Arabs not be searched more carefully in airport security than anyone else, because you believe that it is more important not to discriminate against people based on their race than to keep the occasional terrorist from getting on a plane.”

It turns out that it is even worse. Joe Medicine Crow was not a medal of honor winner but he won the medal of freedom.. there is a big difference. enjoy the shout out video.. Suppose Bush gave a shout out to Ranchers in Texas prior to his famous speech at the World Trade Center destruction.

    video of the shout out:

I would like the question put to CAIR what kind of backlash by Muslims CAIR thinks would be experienced by a group of Christians who wanted to build one, just one, church in Saudi Arabia. Until Christians and those of other faiths can preach their respective religion in Muslim lands, seek converts there and build their houses of worship in such lands without fear of bodily harm, all of which Muslims can do with ease in the West, the Islamic world will forever remain for me (and should remain for every non-Muslim, even useful idiots like Esposito and Armstrong) a giant hypocrite whose protestations of bias against Muslims will forever ring hollow until true reciprocity occurs.

“Think of the Hell this jihadist put the Vets returning with PTSD through as he treated them for “massacring the best of peoples”.

“They should investigate how many of the returning suicides at Fort Hood were treated by this guy.”

Yeah. My thoughts exactly. I seem to recall reading somewhere that Ft Hood had a high rate of suicide: nine, just this year. Maybe now we know why.

    Hesperado wrote, citing an article:

Jackson asked worshippers to pray for the 13 dead and 29 wounded that Maj. Nidal but also asked them to pray for Hasan and his family “as they find themselves in a position that no person ever desires to be.”
    …………………….

Horrifying”and yet, these days, I cannot say I’m shocked.

You’d think Hasan was a motorist who accidently hit a child who dashed out between parked cars, or some such’someone who was suffering almost as much as the child’s bereaved parents.

Instead, we are here asked to pray for a traitor, a mass murderer”and his family, who are making excuses for his savage acts.

If I’m going to pray, it is for the victims, and the families of the victims”not the man who murdered them in cold blood.
