Fort Hood jihad shooter a licensed psychiatrist

From the moment I heard about this shooting I suspected it was intended as a jihad attack, though the media will do everything to ignore or downplay this. Indeed, his religion is being entirely danced around and instead we are hearing about everything else. This is similar to the shooting of several US soldiers outside a recruitment center in Arkansas a few months back by a Muslim convert. Following that event the media downplayed the Islamic connection (something not done following the shooting of the abortionist George Tiller by a Christian). The only question left to be answered is whether this is a case of a jihadist cell inside the military, or yet another case of Sudden Jihad Syndrome.

The other question, what did Major Hasan (allegedly a convert) learn in the mosques he attended and Muslim circles that he might of frequented that would engender within him the notion that as a Muslim he must fight jihad against the United States military?

Charlie Gibson & Gang over at ABC News reported (on the national news) that this jihadi is possibly from Jordan, attended Damascus University, and was NOT a convert.

The Obama administration is probably heavily pressuring all active duty personnel and the MSM to STFU about Hasan's Muslim background, anti-American comments and activities.

However one retired Army colonel who worked with Hasan and just interviewed by FoxNews stated that Hasan supported the Muslim who murdered a Army recruiter in Kentucky and hoped that others would strap on bombs and blow up people in NY Times Square.

He also said that the man was probably kicked out of Walter Reed for poor performance or behaviorial problems. You don't go from WR to a Iraq posting unless you piss off your CO.

In the end he was clearly a Muslim terrorist in terms of sympathy and action. Not a sufferer of PTSD as pushed by the talking idiot heads on CNN and MSNBC.

Government officials are desperately trying to spin this guy as an disgruntled loner who had deep reservations about being deployed to Iraq/Afgan.

This makes perfect sense - A career military officer might not understand that the military sends you where you are needed. A career military officer might not understand that you might get sent to a war zone. A career military officer might not understand that he could resign his commission if he so chooses. A career military officer and psychiatrist might not understand that he has access to free mental health professionals to help his sort out his problems. A career military officer might not understand that killing your fellow soldiers runs contrary to the oath taken when commissioned (and usually after each promotion/reup).

FOX News just spoke with a colleague of Malik Hasan's. Apparently Hasan—who joined the service before 9/11, was adamant about *not* being sent to Iraq or Afghanistan, and had been trying to pull strings on this for the past eight years.

Apparently he was very outspoken about his hatred for the American response to 9/11.

He was going to be deployed by the end of the year. He shot up the deployment center at Ft. Hood—in other words, he specifically targeted those who were going to be fighting Muslims.

FOX also spoke with his cousin, Nader Hasan. He emphasized how educated the killer was, and how he had grown up in Virginia. When Shep Smith asked if Malik Hasan had ever exhibited violent tendencies, Nader Hasan actually *laughed*.

In a short interview, Nader Hasan noted no less than *seven times* how 'shocked' he was by the news. He suddenly cut the interview short, and nervously told Smith that he had to go—right that second—then hung up.

Nader Hasan emphasized—apparently without irony—that his cousin was "a good American".

While we're busy dumping on Obama, let's not forget George "Saudi Hand-holding, Ass-kissing, Ramadan-dinner-eating" Bush.

Though the death of US soldiers is tragic, the teachability of this moment could be paramount in the country's proper education of what Islam is and was always about, and may in time, be viewed as a noble and wholly pertinent sacrifice in the larger and proper war against Islam.

While we were using IntenseDebate for this forum, earlier this year, one of the posters shared with us some interesting material from the book 'Even Angels Ask', by an American convert to Islam, Jeff Lang. I shall re-post, now, as it is completely relevant to the actions of this Muslim in Fort Hood.

Your post makes the case for deporting all Muslims from the USA. It doesn't matter how many Muslims are working to change Islam. As long as they refuse to go against their fellow Muslims who advocate treason, they cannot be allowed in a country with a majority non-Muslim population. As long as their religion advocates the overthrow of non-Muslim governments, they can never honestly pledge allegiance to this country. They should be persona non grata until Islam is changed and the change is seen first in countries like Saudi Arabia.
The first sign for me would be removal of the road sign that tells all non-Muslims not to enter the highway leading to Mecca.
