Hizballah: "Sure, we are rearming, we have even said that we have far more rockets and missiles than we did in 2006"

Just another round of the age-old jihad. "Report: Hezbollah rearming for imminent conflict with Israel," from Haaretz, November 8 (thanks to Alexandre):

Militant group Hezbollah is rapidly rearming and reinforcing positions in southern Lebanon in preparation for a new conflict with Israel, British newspaper the Observer reported on Sunday.

"Sure, we are rearming, we have even said that we have far more rockets and missiles than we did in 2006," a Hezbollah commander told the Observer speaking on condition of anonymity.

The 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel began after Hezbollah militants launched a cross-border attack and kidnapped two Israel Defense Forces soldiers.

"We had to blow up or leave some of our bunkers and fighting positions, but we still have plenty of capabilities in the south," the commander told the Observer. "We expect the Israelis to come soon, if not this winter, then they will wait until spring, when the ground isn't too soft for their tanks."

Israeli commandos on Wednesday seized a ship that defense officials said was carrying hundreds of tons of weapons from Iran bound for Hezbollah guerrillas - the largest arms shipment Israel has ever commandeered....

Typically when any Muslims 'boast' of their position they are feeling particularly insecure. The growing tide of conflict between other terrorist organizations within Palestine is a likely thorn in the side of Hezbollah. The bumbling fools are so eagerly stumbling around trying to destroy Israel they plunge head on into each other catapulting a quarrel amongst themselves and disorientating themselves to their original plan. Meanwhile, Bibi has his eyes on everyone. I'm sure I'm not alone when thinking, "Shut up and bring it on!" After all, Israel "has never seen so many U.S. Generals in Israel at one time" according to recent reports.

Yeah. Israel's ready!

"...the commander told the Observer. "We expect the Israelis to come soon, if not this winter, then they will wait until spring, when the ground isn't too soft for their tanks."

as anyone who has studied military tactics knows...it is in your best interest to study the terrain you will operating on and on which your enemy may be operating on....and then study the effects of the weather upon said terrain and from there you can plan your attacks using the terrain and the weather patterns to your best advantage....which is prudent in land assaults.

Unless the Muslims start to use a devasting air assault to take out Israels air force, they can expect to see Israel using its air power, which can operate in any weather condition and with total disregard to the ground conditions, to reign havoc on the attacking Muslim forces...

and there is no doubt that Israel too, has missiles and rockets, which can be used without worrying about the terrain or weather...

The Muslims are indeed planning another attack, and as usual they will use whatever trick or tactic they can, and they always have something up their sleeve...I would not rule out missiles with chemical, biological or even nuclear warheads.....and I suspect they have imported a sizeable number of ground to air missiles to try to shoot down aircraft....

it is going to get ugly and it is going to get ugly real soon.....some serious decisions will have to be made by the western powers....and the questions about how to deal with the Muslims in your home country will have to be made....

The Muslims -- especially the Arab Muslims -- have created the most powerful, indeed the only remaining solid voting bloc, in the U.N. Under their steadily rising influence, the U.N. spends a great deal of its time and money on the "Palestinians" and their "problem" ahd their "plight." Indeed, more than one-third of all the resolutions at the U.N., and fully half of all the U.N. money spent on all of the world's hundreds of millions of refugees, are devoted to "Palestine" and the "Palestinians." It's a scandal,a scandal that has gone on for decades and apparently is to continue forever.

They managed to get U.N. Resolution 1701 passed, designed to prevent Israel -- as it has been prevented so many times before -- from finally crushing, militarily, its enemies who work feverishly, in order to destroy the Infidel nation-state that apparently makes their lives, by its very existence, unbearable.

Here is the most important part of Resolution 1701, which the UNIFIL troops were supposed to enforce: the prevention of any re-arming of Hezbollah, and the taking control, in the south, of the forces of the regular Lebanese Army:

8. Calls for Israel and Lebanon to support a permanent ceasefire and a long-term solution based on the following principles and elements:

-- full respect for the Blue Line by both parties;

-- security arrangements to prevent the resumption of hostilities, including the establishment between the Blue Line and the Litani river of an area free of any armed personnel, assets and weapons other than those of the Government of Lebanon and of UNIFIL as authorized in paragraph 11, deployed in this area;

-- full implementation of the relevant provisions of the Taif Accords, and of resolutions 1559 (2004) and 1680 (2006), that require the disarmament of all armed groups in Lebanon, so that, pursuant to the Lebanese cabinet decision of 27 July 2006, there will be no weapons or authority in Lebanon other than that of the Lebanese State;

-- no foreign forces in Lebanon without the consent of its Government;

-- no sales or supply of arms and related materiel to Lebanon except as authorized by its Government;

-- provision to the United Nations of all remaining maps of land mines in Lebanon in Israel’s possession

So here's my question. Perhaps you can answer it.

How is UNIFIL doing?

UNIFIL will be under the command of Spanish Premier Zapatero in a few months. May this time it will take (explicit) side in the conflict.

Hezbollah was able to do in 2006 what the combined armies of the Arab world couldn't in wars past; wreak destruction on Israeli cities and towns. The stakes are even higher now; it's not just the Galilee and Haifa that are threatened, but Tel Aviv and other coastal cities.

There is only ONE WAY to prevent a second rocket war between Israel and Hezbollah: Israelis must make it plain to the entire world that Hezbollah is an appendage of Syria, and that an attack by Hezbollah on Israel will be interpreted by the Israeli high command as an attack by SYRIA on Israel, and will be responded to accordingly.

Zapatero is a strawman for some unknown power.The same power that is rehaping the demographics in every country.The same power that orders PC to be the rule.The same power that wants abortion free for any age.The same power that has opened the door to Islam .

Who is this power? I have no idea

I can't vouch for the existence of 'scalar weapons', but I read where Israel might have such a contraption...If they do, it's about time to break it out, dust it off, polish the chrome, and be at the ready...Nuclear weapons are sixty year old technology...I don't know about scalar, but I bet there's interesting developments that we don't know about...

With Bibi in charge l would think he can finish off any attacks, no need for boots on the ground, just fire away from the air. next kick out any arab muslim trouble maker/ msm and finish the hiz boys.

Absolutely. And yet, UNIFIL is either in denial about Hezbollah's rearming; is impotent to prevent it, and too cowardly to even admit as much; or is actually complicit in some cases.

It believe it is a devil's brew of all of the above.

I'm afraid I see no reason why this should be so. Remember, Zapatero was elected by the Spanish in the immediate wake of the Madrid train bombings as an act of appeasement to Islam by the frightened and cowardly electorate.

To think that such a man, elected under such circumstances, is likely to take a firm stand against Jihad terror *anywhere* seems improbable at best to me.

Would it make sense for JW to start referring to "Palestinians" by what I believe to be their more historically correct appellation - "Philistines??"

Anyone??

Oh, the Mohammedans are Philistines allright, no doubt about it.

No, the Philistines were a tribe, now extinct, that inhabited five cities in southwestern Israel. They had no descendants. The Arabs who decided to take a geographic designation -- "Palestinian" (used throughout the Mandatory period by Jews, about other Jews -- "my cousin is now a Palestinian" and so on -- was then taken, used not as an adjective (as in "Palestinian" Arab) but as a noun, and the local Arabs, the newly-christened "Palestinian people," were off to the races.

What I meant by "Philistine" : A person lacking in or smugly indifferent to aesthetic refinement, i.e Barbarians.

I believe that describes the male Mohammedans.

Thanks Hugh - I was aware of that, but it seemed like the geography coincided roughly between then and now, and as Darcy so ably points out, the term "Philistine" certainly fits in its standard meaning.

I believe there will be a coordinated strike next time. At the very least from Hamas and Hizbollah, and maybe they might let the PIJ play too.

The Hizbollah have been secretly storing munitions, and not in the climate controlled conditions required, for so long since 2006 that some of them are starting to destabilized, which is why I figure some Lebanese houses and mosques have been suddenly blowing up for no reason.

If they don’t use up their ammo, mortars, shells, rockets and anti-pers weapons soon, they’ll start to feel guilty about having wasted all this effort on preparing to kill the Joooos instead of rebuilding their civilization through peace and the trade that comes of it.

"they’ll start to feel guilty about having wasted all this effort on preparing to kill the Joooos instead of rebuilding their civilization."

Dude, it is a lot easier to rearm, than rebuild.

Besides thats what the UN is for. "Thanks suckers!"

From Hugh’s above comment: “…fully half of all the U.N. money spent on all of the world's hundreds of millions of refugees, are devoted to "Palestine" and the "Palestinians." It's a scandal, a scandal that has gone on for decades and apparently is to continue forever.”

Indeed. And the result of all this is that you have a “nation” of welfare brats intent on continuing Muhammad’s evil legacy of demanding every square inch of the planet for Islam. Such is the legacy of that little psychopath and his evil version of God. There is no such thing as Allah. “Allah” is nothing more than the product of Muhammad’s sick mind and his ticket to “the good life.” No god could be as cruel and insane as the monster that sprung from Mohamburgers mind.

I meant they’d feel guilty for not expending the ammo, getting killed, getting the virgins, ya know, the good life. Instead, they’re stuck with a crumbling war machine and no dead Jews to show for it, or running water, or a stable electrical grid, or even a place to rent decent Jihadi DVDs.

Speaking of Iran arming islamists (the recent ship borne delivery confiscated by Israel), look at what Iran’s international policy of arming insurgents is doing to Saudi Arabia.

The Chickens are coming home to roost. The Saudis, recently embroiled in the perpetually on-going Yemeni civil war have now officially spilled their own blood fighting a proxy Iranian supported Huthi rebellion.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/middle_east/article6908793.ece

And there’s the recent MSM attention to the discord between Iran and SA which has brought about tensions as the Hajj approaches.

http://www.reuters.com/article/worldNews/idUSTRE5A145P20091102

But, added to the mixture, is the al-Qaeda movement also openly challenging the Yemeni Sunni government. It’s gotten to the point where the SA can’t ignore what’s going on south of the border, and the old days of Egypt sending expeditionary troops to Yemen are gone. The SA will finally have to step up and start to deal with the religious influenced violence south of them before it spreads even further. It strikes me as hilarious that they could end up fending themselves from al-Queda fighters who are funded by their own citizens.

Betcha they ask for military aid and more freebies from the west to fight this war, ‘cause you know, they’re dirt poor and all.

Actually, their extremely “water” poor and have decided to cut agriculture crops because they need the water for their ever growing, state sponsored welfare, citizenry; and they have decided to import, rather than grow, the necessary recourses to feed themselves.

These are the first chinks in their armour. The finally have to start fighting to maintain their domination of the area(1), their dwindling revenues must now be spent to import protein(2), because they’re running out of water(3). The SA’s domination of the faith by simply being the owner of Mecca has unwittingly made them a target of the inevitable schism which awaits Islam. Correct me if I’m wrong, but regardless of the branch of Islam, all of them consider pilgrimage to the Hijre Aswad sacred – what if an event took place to change this(4-swine flu)?

If the Shia were specifically targeted, insulted, assaulted, or prevented from making pilgrimage, most certainly there would be war. Well, more war than there is now between the Shia’s and Sunnis.

The Hajj is coming up. We can only hope. In the mean time, You Go SA! Nice to see you’ve added to the muslim meat grinder.

"the largest arms shipment Israel has ever commandeered...."

Israels intelligence agencies are still very good....

I agree with you, SaleemSmith, that "No god could be as cruel and insane as the monster that sprung from Mohamburger's mind," but just for the sake of argument, and it is an argument I have advanced here at JW before, even assuming Islam is the true religion, then the better part of mankind must conclude that this is a very creepy universe and that the deity is a jerk. You see, Islam, even if true, must be opposed just as Prometheus opposed Zeus by giving man fire. Now, of course, I don't think Islam is the true religion and I would literally bet my life on this, but if it is, God is a monster and man must stand for principle that even such a God does not comprehend or endorse. Yes, we would fail before such a mighty malevolence, but it would be a noble struggle, one which would elevate us over a terrible deity. Death would be preferable to submission to such an entity.

Islam must be opposed no matter what, even if true. Standing up to Islam redeems our humanity, irrespective of any truth behind this particular religion. As long as one is a Muslim, one will never grasp this for Islam creates slaves and not free human beings with a will of their own. Better to die a free man than live as a slave.

Speaking as one from the number of redeemed humanity (though never by my own inept hand, mind you), that could not have been stated better.

Militarily speaking, maybe it's time for a full-scale covert smackdown.

U.S. Special Forces?

Mossad?

Gurkhas?

All of the above?

Resolution 1701 is a farce. Thank you Condoleeza Rice for your great work at the Useless Nations.

Great comment Wellington ~~~

Yes sadly this "religion" is like no other. Even those Muslims, who against all odds, face their fears and question Islam and admit to themselves that it is indeed a fraud and in reality the exact opposite of what it claims to be, run the risk of loosing their lives should they simply decide to leave it.

Imagine being a Muslim living in an Islamic country and your conscience demanded you leave the religion because you knew how terribly harmful and evil it is in totality. So tragic.

Many people are leaving Islam after getting a revelation of the truth often through Jesus appearing to them.
I`ve read many books and heard Christian converts from Islam on TV. It`s amazing, but the Lord Jesus is definitely working throughout the Middle East especially!!

"...a Hezbollah commander told the Observer speaking on condition of anonymity"

So a commander of an army of a sovereign nation (Hezbolla decided to join the Lebanese government the other day) is so brave, he admits what everyone already knows only if they don't mention his name?

Then they try and anticipate Israel's time of attack... Sounds like they're frustrated already :0)

They'll have a very nice time, next time. Now we have Benjamin Netanyahu, and new cheif of staff, Genral Gabi Ashkenazi: Israel's very own General Patton!
