"Based on what we know now, neither the United States Army nor any other organization within the Department of Defense knew of Maj. Hasan's contacts with any Muslim extremists." Would it have been "Islamophobic" to inform them?
"Army Wasn't Told of Hasan's Emails: Pentagon Says It Only Learned of Shooting Suspect's Contacts With Cleric After the Fort Hood Killings," by Yochi J. Dreazen and Evan Perez in the Wall Street Journal, November 10:
The Pentagon said it was never notified by U.S. intelligence agencies that they had intercepted emails between the alleged Fort Hood shooter and an extremist imam until after last week's bloody assaults, raising new questions about whether the government could have helped prevent the attack.A top defense official said federal investigators didn't tell the Pentagon they were looking into months of contacts between Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan and Anwar al-Awlaki. The imam knew three of the Sept. 11 hijackers and hailed Maj. Hasan as a "hero" after the shooting last week at Fort Hood that left 13 people dead.
"Based on what we know now, neither the United States Army nor any other organization within the Department of Defense knew of Maj. Hasan's contacts with any Muslim extremists," the official said....
Eight years and two months after 9/11 and there is STILL no interagency cooperation when it really matters?
Operation Pull Our Pants Down and Take It Up the A**
So we're back to government agencies not sharing intelligence information. It's back to the 1990's! America walks backwards into the future.
I'm watching MSNBC, and all I can see is jockying position over how they will run cover for jihad. Same goes for Fox, all I can see is some sort of exploitation of what happened at Fort Hood. It all boils down to politics, left and right. All I have to say is when one of our cities gets melted down, we will round all of you up. You, and your families and lynch all of you. The public backed by a military overthrow of our government. Mark my words.
I saw the MSNBC spin, too. Rachel Maddow was more outraged that Hasan's right to privacy was violated by the eavesdropping on his communication with the dude in Yeman than she was about the actual contents of the communication revealing that Hasan had developed into a full blown jihadist that could blow at any time. I wonder if Rachel has thought about the color of the burqa she would wear at the stoning that would be her fate as a lesbian under Shariah law?
Isn't that what Homeland Security was supposed to be about? What about the snooping into things like library records that the Patriot Act was set up for?
Or is it now politically incorrect to snoop on actual Islamic supremacists? Just who are those laws aimed at, anyway?
You've got to be fucking kidding me.
I dare that dike to say that to the families faces.
I fucking dare her.
As Richard Clarke said, “Your government failed you” [again], which is exactly why every American should be on a quest to learn everything he / she can about Islam’s teachings. It amazes me that we live in a day and age where information is at our finger tips and people still claim ignorance.
The underlying ear-to-ear grin: The same religion that demeans women had a woman officer took is low-life A** down! Give her a medal!
Please use the phrase "presumed innocent until proven guilty".
In every dictatorship many innocent people are "proven" guilty.
Hasan is presumed innocent. He isn't, of course, but that's our presumption.
I never watch MSNBC...I tried that once and demons started to come out of the TV...And the little blond girl said...'Their here'...And they are...The best demon repellent is your channel changer...or better yet, kill your television...
From post above...Hasan is presumed innocent. He isn't, of course, but that's our presumption.
It's not my presumption...Innocent until proven guilty is only good in court...The rest of us can form an opinion...
He's guilty...end of story...
lol, swami. Thanks for the chuckles during this terrible time.
13 good people were just sacrificed to a non-existent pagan moon deity, so that a brainwashed Barbarian Muslim could claim 72 Virgins.
Good God, what have we become to give any credibility to a mass-murdering "absurd theology," as Kemal Ataturk called Islam:
“Islam is an absurd theology of an immoral Bedouin, a rotting corpse which poisons our lives." - Ataturk, a Muslim
In reply to your second comment above:
Exactly.
Hasan is guilty and I can "presume" that as much as I want.
Only jury duty obligates me to presume "innocence."
All I have to say is when one of our cities gets melted down, we will round all of you up.
When and if this happens, BHO will likely declare martial laaw and cram it down our throats.
"Army Wasn't Told of Hasan's Emails:..."
ROTFLMAO!
That's because the "intelligence" agencies are too busy reading MY email, YOUR email, and that of every non-Muslim in the country!
For the so-called intelligence agencies to report suspect email to the Pentagon from one Muslim to another would have been bigotry and racism on a national scale.
Just in case any new folks think my above laughter isn't bitter, it is.
We should have screwed with Hasans head while we had a chance.
Imagine the Major coming out of a Coma, hooked up to all those life saving devises and that awful feeling one has from Four gunshot wounds.
Gazing around wondering where he is, notices the room looks like the Tent of a wealthy and prosperous Arab. As his vision somewhat clarifies he sees a room full of Nurses? Oddly dressed in true Belly Dancer Fashion, only far less modest. Each with a pretty white cap with bright red crescent. With seductive smiles behind the music of their cooing and purring, the first of 72 climbs aboard. In a most sympathetic and compassionate way, in that husky, urgent way, she apologies for the shape he's in for eternity. With heavy breath she wispers intimately that this is their Paradise too, and they have waited so long for him to...
OK, forgive me, too much Mission Impossible in my younger years.
"Intelligence" agencies didn't tell Army about Nidal Hasan's emails to jihadist imam"
On 9/17, from an Islamic Center, 9/11 POTUS/Commander-in-chief sermoned Americans: http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/gwbush911islamispeace.htm
This was followed by:
- Saudis are "our friends".
- Islam is Peace.
Ironically, Americans re-elected this Saudi puppet and are paying a price, then, elected 'God D**n America Obama, rejecting patriots like Tom Tancredo, R-CO. There were going to be consequences!
Vincent Bugliosi makes a tight, compelling and a legal case:
