Mumbai, Nov. 14: David Coleman Headley personally visited every target site of the 26/11 terror strikes last year, carrying out a recce on behalf of the Lashkar-e-Toiba, a police source said today.Posing as a Jew, he even visited Nariman House, the Jewish Chabad centre, in July 2008.
The Mumbai police today carried out raids in Bandra, its adjoining suburb Khar and BPO hub Goregaon in search of Headley's local acquaintances and contacts.
"He (Headley) mapped the Chhatrapati Shivaji terminus, Taj and Trident hotels and Nariman House. We are interrogating (filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's son) Rahul to find out when he went to Leopold Café. That he did is certain -- when he did that is what we need to know," a top officer said.
Headley had visited the Mumbai home of Rahul, who contacted police after learning of the terror suspect's arrest by America's Federal Burau of Investigation (FBI) last month.
The source said Headley, a Pakistani-born US national, and his associate Tahawwur Hussain Rana stayed in Hotel Outram, a seedy motel in Mumbai's Fort area, for about a fortnight in July 2008.
Born Daood Gilani, Headley, who changed his name and passport in 2006, posed as a Jewish American during his Mumbai stay. A source close to Rahul too confirmed that Headley had claimed to be a Jew.
"It is a mystery how he got into that building (Nariman House) just posing as a Jew. We are probing if he had anybody helping him locally. The FBI seized a book called How to Pray Like a Jew from him at the time of his arrest in Chicago. He had prepared himself thoroughly to pose as a Jew," the officer said.
This morning, the police detained two tourist guides near the Gateway of India for questioning. It is suspected they may have aided Headley or other 26/11 plotters....

Muslims spend a lot of time planning and a lot of time doing reconnaisance work...9/11 took years to plan, the first attack on the Twin Towers took a long time to plan. Hebollah , in its ongoing arms build up is actively planning and reconnoitering for those future attacks yet to come...There have been several Muslims questioned about taking photographs of potential future targets of interest...and of course, Muslims have infiltrated many offices in the governments with access to sensitive security information....

I don't think the "War is deceit" angle is particularly helpful in this regard. The kind of deceit exampled here is practiced by all reasonable people when they are engaged in what they believe to be war. I believe it's called espionage. Undercover cops in every city of the U.S.A. routinely practice deceit for the greater good.
The specific type of Islamic deceit about which Infidels need to be concerned is not this unremarkably common type, but the type by which ordinary Muslims pretend to be "moderate" and pretend that their Islam does not constitute a mortal as well as sociopolitical threat to the Unbelievers with whom they communicating. This specific type also has its espionage dimension, insofar as any given ordinary, seemingly harmless Muslim might be concretely engaged in varying degrees of passive enablement shading up to more active collusion with terrorists. But the specific type should be worrisome for us not on the level where the concrete espionage becomes detectable -- for that is the level that continues to tolerate the existence of Muslims in our midst and therefore, at best, only increases our suspicion of them through spending more time and money on surveillance of them: Rather, our concern about the specific type of deception practiced by the ordinary Muslim -- a type of normative deception that makes sense only when the West realizes that the Muslim is always at war against us and everything they do, including behaving in nice friendly ways, constitutes their military espionage against us -- should lead us to take more comprehensive measures that will rid us of the need to spend billions of dollars we spend on security (money that will only increase as more and more Muslims immigrate to, and are born within, the West in the coming decades), and of the increasing insecurity that comes with that increasingly ineffective managing of the problem forever avoiding the source.
Total deportation is the best (not perfect) remedy for this specific, and universal, type of Islamic deception.

When they are ready and when they choose, we will be hit by multiple attacks. If 50% are unsuccessful, that just means 50% are successful.
We can hope the split between the violent and the covert jihadis causes them to argue and gives us that little bit of time to discriminatie, discern and determine who supports the Constitution and who sharia. If we fail to mark those who want sharia as seditious enemies, our leaders will have failed the nation, are failing the nation.

David Coleman Headley was arrested by the FBI with his accomplice Tahawwur Hussain Rana, a Canadian citizen of Pakistani origin.
A nominal American and a nominal Canadian using their innocent host countries as a screen for doing the work of the Jihad. More and more, the generous and clueless countries of the West are serving as bases for the spreading of Jihad terror all over the world.
Why aren't more people horrified and enraged over this?
