Malaysia refuses to let Christians have 10,000 Bibles that use "Allah" for "God"

Islamic Tolerance Alert from modern, moderate Malaysia: an update on [1] this story. The Malaysian government is refusing to release the confiscated Bibles: "Actually the publications, the Bibles are already banned."

A Christian spokesman says: "This constitutional right (to practice freely) is rendered illusory if Christians in Malaysia are denied access to Bibles in a language with which they are familiar."
